Author Topic: Chatroom Help!  (Read 6490 times)

I don't quite understand how to work it. I type in my username and push connect, then a page comes up with a big gray box that looks like theres supposed to be something in it. I also downloaded mirc and some of it is confuseing.
It's Mario's world, I just live in it. :)

In using Java, which it looks like you did the first time, you did everything correctly.
That big gray box should be there; give it a few seconds and the chatroom should load.

You may have to say okay to a plugin or something if you plan to use Java.

Why can I not connect to the chatroom?  I click connect and all it says is "cannot connect to studio64" bla bla bla!  What the heck do I have to do to get on?

I could be the lost Mario brother.  Think about it.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Believe ti or not, stuff like that happpens to java users all the time. Heck ,I can't even connect sometimes, but oh well. It works most of the time. I'd like to see you guys in the chatroooooom.

Why not just download mIRC? I'll draw you a diagram if you need it.

I already downloaded mIRC. That's What I've been useing ever since I first came to the chat room. One day, I went in there and it said something I can't remember what it was. Mabey we should find a new chat room server.

Odd..............for some reason when I tried to connect to the chat room today, It would instintly disconnect.............and I could have sworn I saw the word "Banned" somewhere...................

Has anybody had trouble getting on the chat room with mIRC lately? I have. I was hoping the problem was with mIRC and not me.

When you connect to studio64.yi.org, it actually forwards you to whichever of these servers has the lightest load:
irc.gccafe.com
irc.opa-ages.com
irc.shadow-corp.com
(There are probably a couple more I can't remember.)

If you're using mIRC or the Java applet or whatever, you can type "/server " then one of the servers above to switch if you have problems connecting to studio64.yi.org.

If I had more time and wasn't so lazy, I'd make some scripts for #tmk. We should at least be able to use colors though. Why are the control codes for them stripped?

hmmm.

I can't connect I dono why. Is there anything fishy going on? Its 1-2-05. I get a can not connect error.
Can anyone just uhhh, tell me if something's up?
