Title: Release errors
Post by: Grandy02 on February 22, 2008, 08:41:16 AM
I've noticed that some of the release information on your (wonderful) site is false, the European in particular. Here we go:

- Game & Watch Gallery 1, 2 and 3 have all been released in Europe.
- Wario Land II (GBC version), Wario Land 3 and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe were available in Europe as well.
- WarioWare: Twisted! hasn't been released in Europe so far. NoE's website still lists it as "TBD", but I doubt it will still come to Europe.

You should usually find the European release dates at NinDB (http://nindb.classicgaming.gamespy.com).

As this page (http://www.themushroomkingdom.net/games/#notes) notes, European release info hasn't been filled in completely yet.

Sorry, I didn't read that. You can delete this topic if it is useless.

I think Twisted! got a European box art some time last year. Very strange.

I think it already got the European box art (http://www.amazon.de/Nintendo-GANIN-045496735296-Wario-Twisted/dp/B0007D4MW2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1203879391&sr=8-1) in 2005 or 2006. Also, I read that the game has already been localised in 2005/06, also the ratings were made (as seen on the box art). The only barrier is the gyro sensor. I've often read that it contains mercury, and the mercury is the reason of the delays, it isn't allowed in "toys" in Europe. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarioWare:_Twisted%21#European_Release) also tells something about the European release. Thus the release of Twisted! in Europe still isn't finally excluded. Hope dies last.
