Hello.  Roy Koopa here.  As some of you know, I draw Mario comics based on Mario games.  I still want to share them with you all someday on the net, but until then, maybe I can practice some just text stories here.  My first attempts at the Story Board "Super Wario RPG" were just written off, so I'm starting my own.  If you want to contribute, go ahead.  I just ask that you please follow the line of the story, and don't bring in non-Mario characters.  Okay, here we go!

---

It was a bright morning at The Pipe House.  Mario was already awake and cooking some breakfast as Luigi continued to sleep in.

"Weegie!  You snooze you loose, bro!" Mario called into the bedroom.

"Wha?  Oh come on, Mario, it's only 9:30!" Luigi grumbled, "Let me sleep a little longer..."

"I think somebody forgot that a certain Princess from Sarasaland is visiting a certain Princess from the Mushroom Kingdom today at 11" Mario said with a smile.

Luigi's eyes popped open.  In a flash, he showered, got dressed, and was at the breakfast table.  "Thanks man," Luigi said, "I nearly HAD forgotten that Daisy was coming today.  How do I look?"

Mario looked away from the bacon and glanced at his bro.  The plumber looked just like he always did: tall, a bit lanky, big mustache, blue overalls, green shirt and green hat.  "You think maybe I should wear the green overalls and the blue shirt today?"  Mario just laughed.

"Luigi, stop being so nervous!" he said, "You don't have to try so hard to impress Daisy.  I'm pretty sure she likes you, anyway."

"Ha!  Easy for you to say.  You already have a Princess!" Luigi replied.

Mario laughed again.  "Come on, Luigi.  Who else could she possibly have interest in?"

"It's just that..." Luigi started, "It's just that we're so different.  She to be on the move, to be daring.  Me, I like to stay out of trouble when it can be avoided.  I like her so much, Mario, but I just don't know if she likes me"

"Luigi you are such a pessimist!" Mario said with a smile, "Who would Daisy possibly want to date besides you?"

At that moment, the door flew open.  "HELLO THERE!" a voice said from the doorway.  It was Wario, an old "freind" of the Mario Bros who always wanted to show them up at every turn.  Wario came strolling into the kitchen with his usual wide grin on his face and evil look in his eye.

"Ever here of a doorbell?" Mario asked angrily.

"I was just walking by your house when I overheard that the lovely Princess Daisy was visiting today." Wario said, "So I thought I would join you two today to meet the nice lady.  So, when do we leave?"

"YOU can leave now," Mario said, "WE will be going to the castle without the likes of you."

"Whatever, I'l go alone then," Wario said, "I want to meet this Daisy one-on-one anyway.  Later, losers!  Heh heh heh!"

Wario slammed the door as he left.  "Good ridence" Mario said.  he looked back at Luigi, who seemed worried.  "What's wrong?" Mario asked.

"You don't think Daisy would go for a guy like...Wario, do you?" Luigi asked nervouly.

"WARIO?!  Are you nuts!?  No girl would fall for him!" Mario said, "Let's just get going, okay, Weegie?"

"Yeah yeah, sure sure.  And don't call me Weegie."

"Luigi?  LUIGI!!" Mario yelled.

"Huh? Wha?  Oh, sorry Mario.  Must've been daydreaming." Luigi apologized.  He thought back about the horrible day dream: 'Ah shut up,Luigi.I'm taking Wario, either get yourself another girlfriend or do something to make Wario seem like junk!'

"I just wish there was someway to show Daisy how much I like her.  Plus, showing here that Wario isn't so impressive would be nice, too..." Luigi thought.

The brothers continued on their walk to the castle.

MEANWHILE, AT THE CASTLE GATE,

"I-I'm sorry, s-sirs, b-but your not on the invitation list, so I really c-can't let you in," a meek Mushroom Guard said to the infamous Wario Brothers.

"WHAT?!" Waluigi imediately shouted, "How dare you turn away the great Waluigi, Mario Tennis Star Tournament Champion!  I'm famous!!"

"Now, now, Waluigi," Wario said calmly, "There is an easier way to settle this."  He then conked the guard on the head, knocking him unconsious.  "See?"

"Right as always, bro!" Waluigi said, "Mweh heh heh!"

The vile twins entered the Mushroom Palace.

Princess Peach was showing Princess Daisy around the castle and telling her about Bowser's most recent attack ("Paper Mario").  "And in there is the kitchen where I cooked this fat Shy Guy a cake so he'd tell me some vital information...And in there is where the Hammer Brother had his quiz show...And that's where Twink would go out to tell Mario anything I needed sent."

"Hmm..." Daisy said, "So King Koopa actually stole your castle right out from underneath you huh?  You guys need better security."

"We upped it after Bowser took the castle Power Stars," Peach defended, "How does one prepare for a Castle-napping?!"

Daisy laughed.  "Yeah, I guess you're right."

"HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!" a voice suddenly called from the doorway.  Two brothers in overalls and hats entered the room.

"Mario?!" Daisy said confused looking at Wario. She then leaned over to Peach and said quietly, "Boy, he's sure changed since I last saw him."

Peach gave the Wario Brothers a cold look, crossed her arms, and responded, "That's not Mario.  That's Wario, and that's Waluigi.  I'm not sure how they got in, but I have a feeling somebody got hurt."

"Nobody important," Wario said innocently.

"Walu...Wali...Walui..." Daisy was trying to pronounce.

"Waluigi.  We met on the tennis court, remember?" Waluigi said.

"Nope.  I don't think I played you guys." Daisy stated shrugging.

"Amature..." Waluigi said under his breath.

It was just then when the real Mario Brothers entered the room.

"Peach!  Glad to see you, as alwa-wa-What are you doing here?" Mario said to Wario.

"Free Kingdom." Wario said slyly.  He then turned to Daisy.  "Say, did you know that I own my own Island?  Fought off some Pirates to get it, too."

"Really?" Daisy said, genuinly impressed.  She did like adventure, after all.

"Yep.  I've been on all sorts of adventures." Wario bragged, catching on that this was Daisy's cup of tea.

Luigi shrunk back behind his brother.  Mario turned to him.  "What are you doing?!" he said, "You've been on all sorts of adventures, too. Don't let that guy out do you, Weegie!"

"But I only go on adventures to help you," Luigi wined.

"And Wario only goes to help himself.  Now will you just talk to the girl?" Mario said firmly.

"Okay," Luigi said.  He walked over to wario and Daisy.

"...and it turns out it was really this giant clown-monster!  Whodathunkit?" Wario was saying.  "Of course, I trounced that loser, too."

"Hi Daisy." Luigi said.

Wario stopped talking and gave Luigi a nasty look.

"Hi Luigi!  What's up?" Daisy asked with a smile.

"Oh, nothing.  I just wanted to say--"

BOOM!  Suddenly, the wall crumbled away in a massive explosion!  Then, all at once, Shy Guys of all colors began invading the castle.  Following them all came the military leader, General Guy.

"All right, men.  You know the orders!   Comence Kiddnapping!  Move! Move! Move!" General Guy ordered.

Mario imediatly leapt to Peach's side.  Luigi and Wario stayed with Daisy.  Waluigi, who had been snacking on orderves (sp?), countinued snacking.

The Shy Guys just stood there, however.

"What are you waitng for, men?" General Guy demanded to know.

"There are two Princesses, sir.  Which one do we take?" a Shy Guy responded.

General Guy obviously had not been prepared for this.  "Uh...Hold on.  Let me think of the briefing..."

Just then, in another explosion--BOOM!--the other wall was blown away, and giant spiders and flies entered the castle!  They were followed by a lion creature.

"Sphynx!" Mario yelled in recogniotion. (NOTE: Sphynx is what I always called the first boss of Mario Land.)

"Ah, Mario.  We meet again!" Sphynx yelled, "I come in the name of the great Tatanga!  He wants a word with the princess, Daisy."  It was then that he saw the two princesses. "Um...which one of you is Daisy?" the lion asked confused.  "Oh, screw it, JUST TAKE ONE!!" Sphynx ordered.  His troops advanced.

"Don't be caught unaware, men!" General Guy ordered, "Just take one!"

In a confusing barrage of Shy Guys, Spiders, and Fighter Flies, the Brothers (both sets) were unfortunately overcome.  The thing is, each evil general took the wrong princess!

"I told you this place needed better security!" Daisy said angrily, "Let me go you stupid Shy Guy!"

"Ick!  Stop it!" Peach yelled at a Fight Fly carrying her.

The princesses were carried off in opposite directions.

LATER...

"I can't beleive you let them take her!" Wario said pushing Luigi.

"Hey, you didn't exactly save her, either." Luigi said in his defence.

"Guys!" Mario said, "We need to get on this and now!  I'm going after Peach.  Luigi, you go after Daisy."

"WHOA!  I am going after Daisy!" Wario said.

Mario, seeing this wasn't going to be solved anytime soon just shrugged. "Fine.  Wario and Luigi, you both get Daisy."

"Does that mean I come with you?" Waluigi asked Mario.

Mario just rolled his eyes and left. "Wait for me!" Waluigi yelled follwing him.

Wario and Luigi just stared at each other.

--and now back to our story--

SETTING: BOWSER'S KEEP, LATER THAT DAY

Bowser, the King of the Koopas, paced back and forth in his thrown room.  Daisy is bound and gagged infront of him, stuggling to get loose.  It takes two Hammer Bros., a Snifit, and a Koopa Troopa to hold her back.  General Guy is standing at attention next to her, facing Bowser.

"Let me get this straight," Bowser said, with his back turned to the General, "You kidnapped the wrong princess."

"Yes, your Lordship," the General responded, "There was confusion on the battlefield.  I take full responsibility."

"Of course you'll take full responsibility!!" Bowser fumed, turning around in a flash, "I can't believe you didn't know which one was Princess Peach!"

"Sir, in my defence, our photo records are terribly outdated," the General stated, "According to them, Princess Toadstool in a brunette."

"Well she's a blonde now!" Bowser said angrily.  Then his thought stared to wonder, "A beautiful, enchanting blonde with the most angelic face on the planet..." Suddenly he snapped to attention.  "I mean...She is the key to ruling the Mushroom Kingdom!  And you mess it up!"

Bowser stepped toward Daisy.  "Wait.  I recognize you.  You're that jerk who punced me!!" (NOTE: see 'Mario Party 3', story mode)

Daisy, still gagged, made a violent sounding growl toward the Koopa King.

"Fiesty," Bowser said with a sly grin, "But you're not quite my type."

"King Bowser," General Guy said, "what shall I do with the princess here?"

"Lock her in the dungeon for now," Bowser said, "I just got an idea of how we may be able to use her for some good--or should I say--bad!  Mwa ha ha ha ha!"

The Koopa soldiers lead Daisy out of the room to a dungeon.  General Guy stayed behind with Bowser.

"Here's  what we're gonna do..." Bowser started.

MEANWHILE, ABOARD TATANGA'S CRASHED MOTHERSHIP...

"You stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid Lion!!" the alien former-Emperor yelled at Sphynx, throwing just about anything he could at the general, "I can't believe you took the wrong girl!!"

"Your Most Excellent Tatanga," Sphynx pleaded, kneeling on his front two legs, "We shall correct this problem as soon as possible."

"YOU WILL CORRECT IT NOW!!" Tatanga ordered, "I don't care abuot this little welp--" Peach, gagged, made a very offended sound.

"Sir, if I may," Sphynx pleaded, "I have recently uncovered information about this princess."

"Well, why didn't you do that BEFORE the kidnapping?!" Tatanga bellowed.

"Sir, if you will allow me to share this information with you..."

Tatanga stood with his arms crossed.  His black and red cape hung off of his shoulders and rested on the ground.  "Fine.  Tell me," he finally said.

"She is Princess Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom," Sphynx stated, "She pulls a lot of political muscle.  She could be your ticket to starting another empire."

"That's what Daisy was for!  Plus, I could get revenge on her for humiliating me and ruining my empire with that clod plumber-hero, Mario."

"That's just it, sir!  This Princess Toadstool and that Mario are closely connected.  Why, I wouldn't be surprised if mario were on his way here now!"

Tatanga perked up his ears to this.  "Really?" he said slyly.  "Than perhaps this Princess isn't so bad afterall...take her to the brig.  I will deal with her later."

Sphynx lead Peach away.

Man you should really go on on this. It's SO FUN!!!
(Grammar Question: Should it be funny?)
Really, man, this is good work. I actually laughed  at the part when both armies kidnap the wrong Princess (O.K. not actually LAUGHED because it's almost four a.m. and my parents are sleeping, but I would had if everybody were awake). I'm tempted to go on with the story (I also like writing) but I can't wait to see what's gonna pop out in your mind. Besides, I'm not as good as you writing.
So, please, keep it up!! Go on with the story! YOU ARE DA MAN!!!

P.S.: Hey how old are you? Just curious :) .

Thank you, Sanctus!  And, to quench your curiousity, I am 19 years old.

--now back to our story--

"Eighty-six bottles of non-alchoholic beverage on the wall.  Eighty-six bottles of non alchoholic beverage...Take one down, pass it around...Eighty-five bottles of non-alcholoic beverage on the wall!" Waluigi sang as he and Mario trecked toward the ocean where Tatanga's spaceship crashed.  "Eighty-five bottles of non-alcholic beverage on the wa-"

"PLEASE," Mario shouted, then in a calmer voice, he continued, "Please!  Stop singing!  And isn't it "bottles of beer on the wall?"

"I don't drink," Waluigi said smuggly.  "Now where was I?  Hmmm...oh well.  Guess I'll have to start over.  'Ninety-nine bottles--'"

BONK

"Ow!  Ya didn't have to hit me!" Waluigi said rubbing the back of his head.

"I didn't hit you," Mario stated, looking around for the real culprit.

"You're just jealous of my amazing tenor voice," Waluigi said, turning his back to Mario.

BONK

"OUCH!  Stop it!" he stated, turning back to Mario.

"I'm telling you I'm not hitting you!" Mario said, picking up a coconut that had fallen from the palm tree above them.

Suddenly, several more cocnuts fell, each with a very dead-on aim at the two passersby.

"Somethings in the trees!" Mario said looking up, but haveing to turn away as another coconut came hurling down.

In the trees, several mischievous monkeys (NOTE: like in "Yoshi's Island") were tossing the trees friuts, but the strange thing was, none of them were laughing or making any noise.  It was almost as if they were--

"Hypnotised!" Mario said, "Tatanga hypnotised them to keep us away from the ship!"

"No stupid monkeys are going to make a...well...MONKEY out of me!" Waluigi said, hurling the cocnuts right back at the primates.

But the monkeys were ready.  Each caught the repelled cocnuts and threw them back, again, at Waluigi.  Plus, several more had entered the fray, armed with Fire Melons!

"WHOA!" Waluigi yelped as a flaming seed was spit in his direction.

Mario was not to be caught un-prepared, though.  He reached into his pocket and pulled out a Fire Flower.  Instantly he powered up, and before his clothes had even changed colors, he was throwing fire balls up into the tree tops at the monkeys.  Each hit promted a reaction fro the little apes, and snapped them out of their hypnosis.  They all scampered off out of sight, searching for the nearest pool of water to put out their flaming tales.

"I coulda done that..." Waluigi stated.

"Sure." Mario said.

The two continued to the coast.

MEANWHILE...

"You do realize that once we find Daisy, she's gonna go out with me," Wario said to Luigi as they walked through a forest toward Koopa Territory.

Luigi, who had been ignoring close to every word Wario had been saying up to this point, was caught unaware by this remark.  "Huh?" he said confused.

"Before you so RUDELY interupted our plesent conversation," Wario said, his big red nose turning up, "I had asked Daisy for a date.  I'm going to show her around Warioland!"

Luigi wasn't sure what to say.  Wario wasn't exactly known for his honesty (quite the opposite in fact), but before he had wandered over, Daisy did seem to be enjoying their converstion.  Did she really accept an invitation from Wario?

"Yep, we're gonna paint the island red!  Then I'll take her for a little coin-swim in my massive money bin!" Wario bragged.

Luigi had never been to the island Wario called home, but he did know that he was rich (and apparently a fan of "Ducktails").  If Daisy was impressed by that kind of stuff, Luigi didn't have a lot to offer.  He couldn't compare his little Pipe-House to Wario's castle...

Suddenly, Wario's bragging was cut short by a voice calling from up ahead. "Hold it right there, you two!"

Luigi snapped back to attention and looked around.  Wario, who was right in the middle of describing his fortune, also looked for the source of the voice.

"We've got you surrounded, and there's no turning back!" another voice said, this one coming from behind.

"Just come out here and fight like a man!" Wario challenged.

"No problem, fatty!" a third voice called from the left.

"Yeah, we will totally kick you big butt!" a fourth voice called from the right.

The first voice spoke again: "Okay guys, show off!"

Right then, four Koopa Troopa in masks jumped out from the trees and landed all around Luigi and Wario.  They were the Koopa Bros., four ninja Koopas dressed in Black, Red, Yellow, and Green.  They had tangled with Mario before (see "Paper Mario").  the most memorable thing about them, howerver is their amazing egos.

"Ha!  Look at these two!" Black laughed, "Mario may be a threat, but his younger brother is a pushover and his older brother is a fat loser!"

Wario fumed.  "I am NOT Mario's brother!  And this is all muscle, my shelled masked 'friend.'"

"Whatever," Yellow remarked, "It won't matter once we're through with you!"

Luigi scanned the four turtles.  They didn't seem too special or anything, and Mario had said they weren't too big of a threat.

"Ready boys?" Red asked his comrads.  "Let's show them what the great Jinx has taught us!"

Luigi gulped. Jinx was a famous sensai in Mostro Town who was known for his excellent martial arts skills.  If these four had been training with him, they could be more trouble than Mario exerienced.

"HEE---YAAA!!!" the four ninja turtles yelled as they ninja kicked toward our hapless heroes...

Good job Roy, this is pretty cool so far.  Keep up the good work (and the references to older games).  Do you think any Kongs will show up?  A cameo by D.K Jr. would kick ass.  Again, good going, Roy. :)

Thank you!  I would write the next part right now (it's in my head), but it's late and I have to work early tomarrow.  I will try to get it up soon, though.

DK Jr, huh?  Well, in my imagination, he's grown up and become the Donkey Kong of the DKC series, so I don't know if I could pull that off.  But, hey, thanks for the suggestion.  I'll see what I can do!

NO NO PLEASE DON'T!!!!!!!!!
Keep everything clean, man. There is no rational way the DK universe could now get into the story. Also, we already have four heroes yet. I think the story would NOT be able to drive more.
Oh, yes and: HYPER-COOL! The 'buttle' made me laugh again (well not really laugh... well you know).

The Ninja Koopa Bros. came kicking into action---and into eachother.  As they flew through the air, Luigi and Wario ducked, resulting in the four turtles running into one another!  The all fell into a pile between Luigi and Wario.

"That wasn't supposed to happen..." Yellow complained.

"Forget about it!  Just HURT THEM!!" Red ordered.

He took a Karate Chop at Luigi, connecting at Luigi's left side.  "Oof!" Luigi re-acted.

Yellow and Black attacked Wario, trying to hit his face.  Wario perried both attacks, but didn't see Green down below, who foot-sept him, causing him to fall on his 'sit-upon'

Luigi and Red circled eachother.  Red was looking for an oppurtunity to clobber the Green-hatted plumber.  Luigi was lokking for a way out of this mess.

"HEE-YA!" Red repeated as he jumped toward Luigi again.  Luigi, however, jumped straight up and grabbed hold of an overhanging branch.  Red flew by harmlessly and ended up running right into the tree!  BAM!  Luigi came back down.

Wario was entangeled in a slew of kicks and punches coming from Yellow, Green, and Black.  But, in one fell swing of his arm, he knocked all three Koopa Bros. back and away from him.

Red had gotten his wits back.  He called to his teammates, "That's it, BREAK OUT THE WEAPONS!"

Red pulled out a pair of katana blade swords; Black pullde out a pair of nun-chucks; Green a pair if sais; and Yellow a bo staff.

Luigi rolled his eyes.  "These guys really are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles..." he thought.

"YOOOOO---SOI!" Yellow shouted, swinging the staff at Wario.  Wario caught an end of it in his hand.

"HIII--YA!" Black said, swinging his nun-chucks.  Wario caught an end of them in another hand.  With his strength, he swung his arms together and -SMASH- crammed Yellow and Black with eachother.

Red was still concetrating on Luigi.  The light from the sun glinted of the sharp blades, and Luigi was a little scared ("Are you kidding, I'm petrified!!") Oh.  Sorry.

Red began swing the two swords in an intimidating fasion.  "I'm gonna slice you up and send your pieces to your brother!  Heh heh heh!"

"Ew." Luigi said, "That's would be really gross."

Red stopped moving and let down his defence.  "Yeah...I guess it would.  Ew.  I never really thought about it.  I just said it because it sounded cool.  Ya know, the more I think about it, the less appealing it sounds.  I think I'm just gonna hurt you a lo--"

STOMP

Luigi had jumped into the air and come down with a patented Mario Bros. stomp atop Red Koopa.  The stomp was so powerful that not only were Red's katanas sent away, but Red himself was knocked right out of his shell!

"GA!" he shouted in embarassment, standing in just his heart-covered boxer shorts.

Green was charging at Wario with his sais.  He jumped over his fallen brothers, flipped in the air, and brought up his sharp weapons to impale on Wario.  Wario, though, had seen him coming and stepped out of the way.  Green fell on his belly.  "OOF!"

Wario then picked up his foot and brought it down on the Koopa Troopa. "ACK!"

"You guys trained with the great Jinx?" Wario remarked.

"Well," Green admitted, "We rented his training-workout tape.  Of course, we had to return it to Koopa Video by Friday, and we only got to watch the first part--"

"RETREAT!" Red ordered.  He picked up his shell and threw it on backwards while his three companions ran off as well.  "You haven't seen the last of us!!" they shouted running away.

"What jokes," Wario taunted, "I took out three.  How many did you get?"

"Well...one," Luigi said.

"Oh.  Heh." Wario replied with a superior look on his face.  "Come on, lets go get my girlfriend back."

"YOUR girlfriend?!" Luigi said catching up to his yellow-clad partner.

MEANWHILE, AT THE COAST...

Waluigi looked out over the ocean that lay ahead of them.  "Where's this ship you say Tatanga is hiding out in?"

"It crashed just over the horizon." Mario pointed ahead.  "Let's go."

"Go where?"

"Out to the ship!"

"How?"

"We swim."

"NO.  No no no no no no and NO." Waluigi protested.  "I am not swimming that far."

"I swim great distances and depths all the time," Mario argued, "Somehow, here in the Mushroom Kingdom, it's easier than on earth."

"I just don't want to, okay?" Waluigi said stubbornly.  "I'm going to find a boat."  He started walking down the coast.

A bit annoyed, Mario followed him.  "A boat?" he said, "You're not just gonna find a boat lying on the shore waiting for you to take it!"

"There's one," Waluigi pointed out.

Surprised, Mario looked ahead.  Sure enough, a small row boat was sitting on the shore, waiting to be used.

"Well I'm be..." Mario said, starting toward it.

"Hey!  Wait up!  I found it!" Waluigi said, following Mario with his trademark huge strides.  He pushed past Mario and looked inside the boat.

"Isn't that your girlfriend?" he asked.

Mario reached the boat and looked inside. He then jumped back in surprise.

Inside was Princess Peach!  she was unconsious, but didn't look hurt in any way.

"Peach!  Peach wake up!" Mario said to the princess.

"Wha?  Who?  Where am I?" she said, coming to.  She saw Mario.  "Oh!  Mario!  You saved me!  But, I don't even remember how..."

"Actually, I didn't!" Mario said, confused, "We just found you here."

"Huh?" Peach said.  "But how did i get here?"

"Who cares!" Waluigi said throwing his hands up into the air, "Let's just leave before that Tatanga guy sends any troops looking for her!"

Waluigi had a point, and Mario and Peach knew it.  "Come on.  If we hurry, we may be able to get to Luigi and Wario in a day or so."  The three went back into the forest.

The failed to see the Tokotoko Stone Warrior pretending to be just a normal rock on the shore.  "He he.  It worked!  Master Tatanga will be most pleased."  He then got up and walked into the water, toward the ship...

Man, that's VERY funnt stuff. I'm telling you, I had to tap my mouth with my hand while reading trying to not to laugh loud. (As always, it's already 2:00 a.m., and my parents are sleeping).
Really, man, you are a very good writer. i like the way you handle things, keeping the 'childish' way of writing, with no bad wprds or violence and stuff. It made me remember the old SMB3 cartoons. (I gotta rent them some time -- there are two videos of episodes in a video-store near here!)
Oh, and today I came back from the vacations. They were SO cool. I climbed mountains and rided horses. :) .
Sadly, classes start next Monday :(. But apparently, there will be a strike (politicians, with, I have to say it, the support of the U.S. and the International Monetary Funds, cut the budget for Education and lots of stuff). What a motherKcufing world... :(
OK, the good news are that I'll have one more day of vacation...

Hey, I wonder if you have strikes there in the USA. People often think on the U.S. as a mean-perfect-rich country, but I got the feelin' thet it isn't that much. U.S. people, at least here on the Forums (and thet's the only U.S. paople I had ever met -- except for an exchange student), are not perfect or mean. They are cool, normal people. :) So I really would like you people to tell me what's going on there.
(yeep, I guess that was a bit out-of-topic)
Please don't get mad with me, guys. Maybe I shouldn't had started talking about polythic, but... I mean, we're all friends and I think we can trust and support each other. So I trust you to don't get mad  on me :). Oh, and I don't hate the U.S., though I don't really know much about it anyway...
I do know that it's not that simple like 'Oh, United States just keep ****ing the other countries, every person who lives there is really mean'. No. I'm SURE that there is good and bad people in every country, and I also KNOW that you can't make a judgement out of a country just because of its government (the same way you could think that in Argentina we're all thiefs and liers... wich we are not). Come to thinking it, most time the people in the governments of most countries are mean people. Sad, isn't it? The people we choose for ruling and for represent us on the foreign countries, are there just because of the power.

Thank you for your kind words yet again, Sanctus.  I'm happy to hear you had a good vacation.  Maybe you should post that in the "General Chat" forum, though.  ;)

Ah, good.  The boards are working again.  Well, Here we go!

--

It was getting dark and Luigi thought he saw one or two Boos floating around in the forest, so he and Wario decided to stop for the night. Wario managed to get a fire going and the two sat around it.

--Insert awkward silence here--

Wario's stomach growled loudly and caused Luigi to gasp and stumble backwards.  Wario smiled smuggly, but another growl from his stomach stopped him from saying anything demeaning toward Luigi.  "Man, I'm hungry," he said instead.

Luigi, getting back on the rock he was sitting on prior to his spill, reached into his overall pockets and produced to sandwiches.  He handed one to Wario.

Wario looked at the sandwhich, then at Luigi.  "What are you doing?" he asked.

"Giving you a sandwhich," Luigi answered matter-of-factly.

"DUH, I can see that!" Wario said, "But why?"

"'Cause you said you were hungry," Luig stated.

Wario looked back down at the sandwhich.  His stomach growled again.

Luigi chuckled.  "It sounds like you've got a rabid Goomba living in your belly," he laughed.

Wario glared at him.

"Hey, I'm just kidding," Luigi said. "Listen, if you don't want the sandwich..."

Wario snatched it out of Luigi's hands.  "What is it?" he asked.

"Goomnut Butter and Jamm'n Jelly on white with a little Honey Syrup for added kick," Luigi responded.  "Tayce T. told me about--"

"Sounds disgusting," Wario said rudely before taking his first bite.  He finished it in three bites then followed with a burp.  "Tasted bad, too.  You got anything to drink?"

"Well...no..." Luigi said.

"Hmph.  Figures." Wario said.  "I'm gonna try to go to sleep, so KEEP IT DOWN!"

Wario then flung himself onto the ground on his side--turned away from Luigi.  Luigi looked at him for a few seconds, trying to figure out what Wario's deal was, then began eating his own sandwich.

All the while, they were being watched from the dark trees...

MEANWHILE (WHICH, OF COURSE MEANS WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE...)

Mario had also lit a fire and was sitting around it with Peach and Waluigi.

"I just don't get it," Mario said, "You were being held by Tatanga, then the next thing you remember, you're in that boat and I find you."

"I found her," Waluigi corrected.

"That's about it," Peach confessed, "I don't remember anything else!"

"It doesn't make any sense." Mario said puzzled.

"Who cares?!" Waluigi said again, "We have her!  We don't need to fight any big Boss!  We can go back home and all live happily ever after!"

Mario ignored the purple-clad annoyance.  After a while, he said, "Okay, since we're still in hostile territory, we'll sleep in shifts.  I'll take first shift, Waluigi take the second, and Peach you wake up early and take the third."

"No way!" Waluigi protested, "I'm not taking the middle of the night when the bad guys are most likely to attack!  You take the second shift!"

"Fine." Mario said, "I'll take second watch!"

Waluigi smiled in triumph.  Then he stood up and walked a little ways from the fire to get a good look out point.  Mario laid back and pulled his hat over his eyes; Peach took off her crown and curled up to sleep.

An hour later...

Mario was snoring slightly.  Waluigi was snoring loudly (sleeping on the job), and Peach was beginning to stir.  She then opened her eyes, which had a blank look in them.

"Must...get rid of...Mario..." she said.

The Princess mechanically walked into the forest, then re-emerged with a large rock.  She then walked over to Mario, raised the rock high in the air, and--

Just then Mario rolled over in his sleep and Peach brought down the rock onto the ground.  She turned her head to Mario and stood up straight.  She again raised the rock into the air and prepared to bring it down, when...

"-SNORE- Huh?  Wha?  What's going on?" she heard Waluigi start to say as he woke up.  Suddenly, Peach shook her head and saw she was standing up above Mario with a rock in her hand.  "What was I--"

She was cut off by Waluigi's snoring again.  Apparently, he'd just been dreaming.

Peach shrugged and tossed the rock away before laying down and trying to get to sleep again.

What exactly is going on?  Stay tuned to find out!

Wario's snoring was loud and obnoxious, much like Wario himself.  Luigi was having a terrible time sleeping.  Still, he was finally managing to doze off.

"He he he he he..." he heard.

Luigi sat up straight in an instant.  Wario was still snoring loudly.  Luigi glanced around at the dark surroundings, but when he didn't see anything, he nervously laid back down.

"Ho ho ho ho!"

Luigi bolted up again.  This time he KNEW he heard somebody laughing.  Still, after looking aroud, he saw nothing.  The fire was still burning slightly to his left, and he turned to warm his hands from it.

At that moment, it blow out like a candle and Luigi felt a terrible shiver.

"H-h-hello?"  he spoke quietly. He was hoping no one would answer.

"He he he he!" he heard right behind him.

Luigi was shaking with fright and his teeth were chatting loudly.  Slowly, he turned his head around.

He saw it, but only for a split second, and only in the corner of his eye.  A GHOST!

"W-w-w-wario!" he said to his sleeping partner.  "Wario! Wake up!"

Wario just rolled over and kept snoring.

"Ho ho ho ho ho!"

Luigi was sure of it.  There were ghosts around.

"I-I'm not scared of any B-B-Boos!" Luigi said defiantly.  "Come out here!"  He knew Boos never liked to look at people they were trying to scare.  Mario told him the best way to get rid an annoying Boo was to confront it and stare at it.

But it wasn't Boos that appeared.

Four ghosts--legitamate ghosts--appeared all around Luigi.  They looked like people, only they were translucent with glowing eyes and illuminating a strange light.  Luigi was terrified.

They all began to cackle manically:  "He he he he!  Ho ho ho ho ho!  Ha ha ha ha!  Hoo hoo hoo hoo!"  Each began circling Luigi and bobbing up and down.  Luigi dove to the ground and covered his eyes with his hat, holding it down tight.  This was the most scared he'd ever been in his life!

The ghosts were still laughing, and Luigi could feel their icy touch as they drew closer.  They began to chant "Join us!  Join us!  Join us!"

"AAAHHH!!  NO!!  LEAVE ME ALONE!!"  Luigi cried.

Just then, he heard a woman's loud voice shouting:  "BACK OFF!!!  BOO!"

The ghosts all disappeared into the darkness that they came from.  Luigi was still shaking with fright, but he had to see who had come to his aid.

He looked up and saw...no one.

Since the coast was clear, he stood up and looked around.  When he turned full circle, a Boo was floating in front of him about an inch away from his face.  "GAH!" he yelped in surprise, falling backwards.

"Hello, Luigi."  The lady Boo said, "I'd appolize for scaring you, but I might lose my reputation!"

"Bow!" Luigi said in relief.  Bow was a friend of he and Mario.  They had met her recently and she had helped them save the Kingdom and the Pricess.  She floated there in the air with her bows in her 'hair' and a fan in her hand.  Her butler, Bootler, floated behind her with two other Boos.

"We were passing by on our way to a party being held at Belome's Temple.  I thought I heard you screaming."  Bow said.

"Yeah," Luigi said, finally calming down.  "Those ghosts--they weren't your kind..."

"No, they weren't" Bow explained.  "Those ghosts give Boos a bad name.  Some call em Dead Heads.  Others call them Spooks or Spirits.  I just call them evil."

"An entire mansion is full of their kind not far from here..." Bootler added.  "It would be wise for you sirs to leave this place quickly before others return."

"Boy, I hope I never set foot in THAT place!" Luigi said.  "Thanks again, Bow."

"No problem.  Scaring Ghosts is almost more fun than scaring humans!  Mwa ha ha!"  Bow laughed.

"Come, my lady,"  Bootler hastened, "We must carry on.  We don't want to come in after the Dry Bones again."

"Yes, we must go." Bow continued, "It was a pleasure, Luigi.  Do drop by OUR mansion some time!  We just added a fresh lair of dust! Ciao!"

"Bye."  Luigi waved, watching the Boos float off.  He then looked at Wario, who was still asleep.

"Come on, we're getting out of here." Luigi said, shaking Wario awake.

"Wa?  Huh?  What's the big idea?" Wario complained.

Luigi knew Wario would be unco-operative unless he was properly motivated, so he said:
"There's a stash of unguared gold coins nearby.  I just remembered."

"Geez!  Why didn't you wake me up sooner!" Wario said jumping up.  "Let's get a move on!"

Luigi and Wario trecked off.

ELSEWHERE...

The trio of Mario, Waluigi, and Peach continued on early the next morning.  No further incidents had happened that night, with the exeption of Mario's angry kick to Waluigi's backside when he found him sleeping on his watch.  A few hours after they started out, several Fuzzies appeared in their path.

"Meork!" one said, "You're in our part of the forest!  Meork!"

"Now we have to teach you a lesson!" another added.

The mischiveous Fuzzies jumped at the three, laughing hysterically.  Mario punched his attacker in the face, which caused it to fall away.  Peach dodged her attacking Fuzzy and proceded to kick it with her shoe.  Waluigi, who wasn't paying attention but was instead looking at an interseting cloud shaped like a Bob-Omb, was imediatly wrestled to the ground by three Fuzzies. "Ack!  Help!" Waluigi wimpered.

Mario saw this and rolled his eyes.  He ran over to Waluigi and pulled the Fuzzies off.  Waluigi got up and without so much as a 'Thank You', started using his long legs to kick the Fuzzies around.

Peach was smacking a few Fuzzies with her gloved hands, but some more were pulling on her dress and one was on her head juggling her crown.

Mario also was starting to get his hands full.  Fuzzies of all sorts of colors were jumping out of the trees and ambushing them all.  Waluigi was once again overpowered and struggling to get back up off the ground.

"That's it," Mario said.  He reached into his pocket and produced a small jar.  While a bunch of Fuzzies were clinging to his back, Mario unscrewed the lid of the jar.

Once unscrewed, a huge, ghost-like image of Bowser appeared for less than a second, roaring, "BBLLLAARRR!!!!"

It was enough to terrify all the Fuzzies away.  Each fled back into the forest sqealing in fright.

"Fright Jars," Mario said smuggly, "Get's 'em every time."

Waluigi was dusting himself off.  "Man, adventures stink!  I just want to go back to my little island and smash some more Luigi pictures!" he complained.

"That accomplishes a lot," Mario said sarcastically under his breath.  Then he said to them, "Wario and Luigi are most likely still heading to Bowser's Keep.  I think a Warp Pipe just that way will take us to the general area where they'd be by now."

Waluigi nodded.  He knew the sooner he could get back to Wario the better.  Peach also nodded, but then, her eyes glazed over.

"No...We must...return to the castle..." she said.

Mario looked back at her.  "Well, Toad Town isn't that far away from here, but it's in the opposite direction from the Warp Pipe.  I think with Tatanga probably still looking for you, it'd be best if you stayed with Waluigi and m-"

"We must return to...the castle." Peach said, "All of us...especially Mario."

Mario was puzzled why she spoke of him in the third person, but wasn't going to argue with the Princess.

"Fine.  We'll drop you off in Toad Town first, Peach.  Then Waluigi and I will continue on."

Peach blinked a few times, then looked Mario in the eyes.  "Oh.  Okay.  I guess."

Mario lead the way, with Waluigi behind him staring up at the clouds again, and Peach brought up the rear, wondereing why Mario wanted to drop her off at the castle.  'I thought we were going to help Wario and Luigi?' she thought.  Still, Mario was the experienced hero, and she trusted his judgment.

Mario, Waluigi, and Peach arrived in Toad Town a short while later.  Many happy Toads rushed to great them, including THE Toad, trusted friend of Mario and Peach.

"Princess!  It's so good to see you back again!  And so soon!" he said.  "I take it Tatanga wasn't much of a threat?"

"Actually, he wasn't a threat at all," Mario answered.  "We found Peach by herself."

"Weird," Toad replied.

"Let's get you back to the castle, Peach," Mario stated.

"Alright," Peach responded.  They walked toward the Mushroom Palace.

The Chancellor was thrilled to see them.  "Oh! Peach!  You've returned! Wonderful!!  This day shall forever be know as Super Mario Day!"

"Actually, today already is Super Mario Day," Mario said with a slight smile, "Along with next Tuesday, November 7th, January 13th, and April 20th."

"Oh, yes, well..." the Chancellor corrected.  "I just want to commemorate your saving my daughter once again."

"Not a problem your highness," Mario said modestly, "It's part of my job!  'Super Mario Bros. Plumbing and Princess Rescuing'"

"Yes, yes, of course," the Chancellor said.  Toad surrpressed a chuckle.  Waluigi had lost interest in the conversation and was looking at an interesting painting of giant Bob-Ombs hanging on the wall.  Peach was smiling but suddenly, her face glazed over again.

"Father..." she said, "I must...talk to you...in private."

"Oh." the Chancellor said in surprise.  "Okay." the two retreated into a private room.  Mario was confused by this request.  Peach usually shares everything with him.  Something was not right.

In a quiet palace room, Chancellor Toadstool asked, "What is it dear?"

"It is Mario...and Waluigi..." Peach said dryly, "They are...not who they seem..."

"What?!" Chancellor Toadstool said in shock, "What do you mean?"

"They are...Tatanga clones..." Peach answered, "Made by him...to fool us...I heard them...talking about it..."

"Oh my!  What should we do?"

"We must...capture them...Keep them locked away...until the real Mario returns..."

"Yes!  Of course!  I'll get right on it!  GUARDS!"

Several mushroom guards came into the room.

"I need you to arrest Mario and Waluigi!  Immediately!" Chancellor Toadstool ordered.

"A-Arrest Mario?" they all said in confused unison.

"He's a fake!" the Chancellor explained.  "But my beloved Peach saw through Tatanga's plot!"

"Yes sir." the guards said.

Mario and Waluigi were quietly waiting in the thrown room for the Toadstools to return.  Toad had left to attend a party at Tayce T.'s house.  Suddenly, a bunch of Mushroom guards barged into the room, spears pointed at them.  "You are under arrest by orders of Chancellor Toadstool!" one said.

"Mama Mia!" Mario said jumping up in surprise, "What are you talking about?"

"Can it, clone, we see right through you!" another guard said.

"There must be some mistake..."Mario remarked.

"I'll tell you the mistake!" Waluigi yelled, "Trusting these Fungi Fiends!"  With that, he began battling his way through the Mushroom People.

"Stop!" Mario shouted, "We have to figure out why--"

"No!" Waluigi retorted, "I want out of this stupid cast--"

BONK!!

Waluigi fell face down to the floor unconsious.  Peach stood above him holding her trusted Frying Pan weapon.  She still had a glazed look in her eyes, but they seemed to also hold an evil glint.  Chancellor Toadstool stood beside her.

"We know...all about you..." Peach spoke, "Give up...imposter!"

"Peach!  Please!  What are you doing?!" Mario pleaded.

"Take them...away..." Peach ordered.  The Mushroom guards advanced.  Mario did not put up a fight, because he knew that his friends weren't acting on their own accord.

"Chancellor!" he shouted, "It's Peach!  Somethings wrong with--MMPH!" He was gagged by a nearby gaurd.  Waluigi was carried off and Mario was led away.

"Well done, Peach!" Chancellor Toadstool remarked.  "This day shall forever be know as Peach Day!"

"Yes..." Peach said.

MEANWHILE

Luigi and Wario were quickly approaching Bowser's Keep.  It was strange, but even in deep Koopa Territory, they had not encountered any enemies.

("Not that I'm complaining..." Luigi stated, "But this guy, on the other hand...")

"Man, I need to bash someone's head," Wario said.  "I can't believe we haven't met any resistance yet!  I can already SEE Bowser's Castle in the distance.  Where are the Koopa Tanks?  Where are the Chain Chomps?  Where are the Koopa Troopas?!"

"Probably all holding up near the Castle waiting to ambush us--"

"Wait!" Wario interupted, "Look!"

Luigi gazed ahead and saw what looked to be Bowser's Koopa Clown Copter, along with a bunch of Paratroopas, Para-Goombas, Fire Chomps, Swoopers, and other air-born Koopas flying with it.  They were coming closer by the second.

"Quick!  Hide!" Luigi yelled pulling Wario behind a nearby rock.

The air squad flew over them without even slowing down.  Wario looked up over the rock at the backs of them.

"It looks like they're heading for--"

"Mushroom Palace!" Luigi finished, "Come on!  We've got to get back there!"

Luigi jumped over the rock and darted off.  Wario tagged along behind him.

"Remember, I get to save Daisy!" he yelled.

To Link: Yes, this is story I am writing personally, since I'm so far into it and know where it's going.

And now, after way to long of a delay, the next part!

--

"Let me outta here!  I'm innocent I tell ya!!  Well, relatively speaking..." Waluigi yelled tugging on the bars of the Mushroom Palace dungeon.  Mario just sat on the plush bed.  (The Mushroom Palace dungeon was used so infrequently that some Toads had turned it into a guest room.)

"I should have known this was a set up," he said to himself angily, "It was way too easy."

Waluigi turned around to him.  "Yeah!  You're the hero!  Why didn't you see this coming!!"

Mario just ignored his cellmate and thought about how to get out of this.  No Mushroom Guard was on duty, but they were still locked away.  His power-ups had been confiscated and space between the bars were too thin for even Waluigi to squeeze through.  They were really stuck at the moment.

Upstairs, Peach, still in her trance, was sitting on her thrown while the Chancellor paced back and forth.

"Mario will certainly be impressed with us when he returns!" he said gleefully.  Just then, Toad barged into the thrown room..

"Did I just here that you threw Mario in the dungeon?!" he said in defiant surprise.  Peach just stared ahead at nothing.  The Chancellor approached Toad.

"Toad!  It's okay!  The Mario who was here was a fake." he said.

"Fake my spores!!" Toad shouted back.  Calming down a bit, he continued, "Your highness, I've spent enough time with Mario to know him when I see him, and I'm telling you, that was the real--"

"Mario has returned!" a Mushroom Guard yelled from outside the castle.  In about two seconds, the thrown room doors flew open, and in walked a figure in red...

The person had on a Mario hat and Mario-style overalls, and even sported a Mario-esque mustache, but this person definetly wasn't Mario.  For one thing, Mario doesn't have purple skin or large pointy ears...

"Tatanga!" Toad said.

"What are you babbling about?" Tatanga resonded. "I am Mario.  I just defeated Tatanga and have returned to my wonderful palace."

Toad turned to the Chancellor.  "He's obviously not Mario!  He thinks Mario lives here!  And look at his skin!!"

The Chancellor looked back and forth from Toad to Tatanga...Toad to Tatanga...then he turned to Peach.  "Peach?" he asked desperately.

"It is...the real Mario..." Peach answered.

Toad caught on right away and grabbed the Chancellor.  "Chancellor Toadstool! Don't you see?  Peach is under a spell!"

"Quiet, you!" Tatanga shouted.  he pushed Toad to the ground and looked the Chancellor in the eyes.  Tatanga's eyes then became spirally swirls and he waved his fingures slowly in front of the Mushroom Kingdom ruler.

"I am the real Mario..." Tatanga said.

"You are the real Mario..." The Chancellor repeated.

"NO!" Toad screamed jumping at Tatanga and tackling him.  Tatanga rolled him over and overcame him, staring into his eyes with his peircing stare.

"You will stop resiting..." he said with an evil grin.

"I...I...I will stop resiting..." Toad repeated, and hey just laid on the ground limp.  Tatanga stood up once more in triumph.

"Now, let's get down to business." Tatanga stated sitting in Chancellor Toadstool's thrown, next to Peach.  He then looked over at her.

"He he.  You'll make a pretty queen of the universe, indeed!" he said dastardly.  "Tatanga the Conqueror shall take his rightful place as master of all!"

He then began laughing meniacally.

MEANWHILE

Luigi was running as fast as he could through the woods he and Wario had just emerged from.  Bowser and his flying troops were far ahead of them, and it seemed that there was no way they could catch up.  Luigi, out of breath, stopped and breathed heavily.  "What are we gonna do?" he asked Wario.

Wario, who lagged a little behind, came up to the green clad Mario brother and also stopped to rest.  "I'm <pant> not <pant> sure."

Luigi then looked to his right and saw a warp pipe marked "Toad Town Tunnels."  He looked over at Wario.  Wario looked at the sign and then back at Luigi.

"How convenient." they said in unison.  The two jumped into the warp pipe and rushed though the tunnels toward Toad Town and Mushroom Palace.

--Our story continues!--

Tayce T. was happily cooking up a wonderful eclare dessert for Mario and Luigi made from all sorts of ingredients from around the Mushroom Kingdom, when she heard commotion outside her little home.  "I wonder what's going on?" she spoke outloud to herself peeking out her window.

She saw crowds of Mushroom People from all around town flocking toward Mushroom Palace not far off.  Curious, she approached her friends Harry, the shopkeeper, and Russ T., the librarian.

"The Chancellor has called the entire town to a secret announcement at the castle," Harry explained. Russ T. adjusted his glasses and read from a piece of paper, "'All citizens of Toad Town are to report to the Palace immediately.  Chancellor Toadstool.'  You probably received one as well."

Tayce T. had been so preoccupied with her cooking, she must have missed the message delivery, for on her door was posted the announcement.  She joined Russ and Harry on their way.

A huge crowd of Mushroom People were gathered in front of the castle.  Tayce observed the wonderful waterfall to the left and was staring at it's beauty, when the balcony window opened and Chancellor and Princess Toadstool emerged.  A camera-carrying Lakitu was recording the event for those people in Rose Town or Marrymore or any other town.

"Citizens of...Toad Town...and people of...the Mushrrom Kingdom..." the Chancellor spoke, "I have a great and...glorious...announcement."

All present hushed to hear.  Tayce looked around, though, and noticed that neither Mario nor Luigi were present.  Toad, who usually accompanied the Chancellor and the Princess, was also missing.

"I have decided to...hand over my thrown...to the great...and powerful...Tatanga!" Chancellor Toadstool spoke.

The whole crowd gasped and errupted in a slew of commotion.  "What did he say?" "Is this a joke?"  "Who's Tatanga?" "He can't be serious?!" etc.

The Chancellor raised his hands and silenced the crowd.  "It is done...All hail...Tatanga the Conqueror!"

"Hail Tatanga!" Peach echoed.

The crowd was silent.

Tatanga, who had ditched the cheap Mario costume, strode forth.  He wore his black and red space outfit and his cape flowed behind him.  Toad, also in a trance, came behind him and set down a box for him to stand on and address the crowd, since the alien was just as short as any average Mushroom Person.

"People of the Mushroom Kingdom!" he said, "Be honored!  Your's is to be the first kingdom of many to be under my control as I rebuild my fallen empire!"

As he spoke, many of Tatanga's troops had encircled the crowd.  Stone Warriors, Fighter Flies, Spiders, and others, lead by the huge Sphynx, all surrounded the crowd.

"From here, I shall advance on the rest of your planet, then, once I have repaired my ship, I shall re-conquer the rest of the galaxy!!"

"Shut up, you purple joke-of-a-ruler!" a harsh voice yelled from above.

Tatanga was shocked at this interuption.  "Who DARES to speak out of turn?!!" he demanded to know.

"ME!" the voice shouted again.

Tatanga looked up.  Hovering above him in the Koopa Clown Copter was King Bowser Koopa.  Paratroopas, Fire Chomps, ParaGoombas, and other Koopas flew around him at attention.  General Guy also hovered nearby in a Shy Copter, with several Fly Guys at his side.

"The Mushroom Kingdom is mine, runt!" Bowser said to Tatanga, "How dare you try to take what's mine!"

"Why you overgrown turtle!" Tatanga yelled at his adversary, "Can't you see I've already taken it?"

"Well, I was just about to exchange this tart," Bowser held up Daisy, bound and gagged, "for Princess Peach!  From there, the Mushroom Kindom would have no choice but surrender to me!"

"THAT'S your plan?!" Tatanga said in astonishment.  "I spend the time to come up with a well thought out, orangized plan that infiltrates the Palace, get's rid of Mario, and results in my ruling the Kingdom, and you were just going to come in, swap princesses, and demand to rule?!  Like that would ever work!!"

"Didn't I tell you to SHUT UP!!" Bowser yelled, a little fire escaping from his mouth.

"That's it," Tatanga said, outraged, "I'm going to defeat you and take your Kingdom next!!"

"I'd like to see you try!" Bowser retorted, "KOOPA PACK, ATTACK!"

"ALIENS ADVANCE!!" Tatanga ordered.

At once the Koopas and Tatanga's troops engaged in battle.  Most Mushroom People scattered and ran back to there homes, but Tayce T. hid behind a hill and observed to action.  She was intrigued.  The Lakitu reporter was giving live play by play as he flew around the scene.

"What a fight!  The ParaGoombas seem to be no match for Tatanga's Spider troops, but the Fire Chomps are quickly chasing them away!  The Stone Warriors and Shy Guys are duking it out.  While the Stones have them in strength, the Shy Guy's sheer numbers are overwhelming!  General Guy is bombing Sphynx, but Sphynx is attacking with his own fire breath.  And speaking of fire breath, King Bowser and Tatanga are going toe to toe themselves!! For those of you just tuning in, this is Ace Lakitu, WTMK news reporting live from Mushroom Palace where a fierce melee has just erupted!"

Tayce looked on in frighted curiousity, when she was tapped on the shoulder from behind.

"EEP!" she yelped flipping over to see her 'attacker.'

"Shh!  Tayce!  It's just me!" Luigi said, calming her down.

"Luigi!  Oh my, do you see what's happening?"

"Yeah," Luigi responded, "but I can't do anything now without Mario.  Where is he?"

"Tatanga said he caught him," Tayce said, "He's probably in the Palace basement!  You've got to save him, Luigi.  The Princesses, the Chancellor, and the Kingdom are all in peril!"

"Don't worry, Tayce, we'll save everybody," Luigi said to boost her confidence.  "Everything will be fine.  Get back home and stay inside until this blows over."

"O-okay, Luigi," Tayce said, "Good luck!" She gave him a little peck on the cheek then hurried off.

Wario watched her leave and then turned to Luigi.  "You sounded pretty sure we can pull this off." he said with one eyebrow raised.

"I'm a good actor," Luigi said looking at the fight before them.  "I'm actually terrified."

Wario gave a little smile. "That sounds more like you.  Come on, let's save our brothers."

Wario and Luigi made there way around the fight, through the palace tennis courts, and to the back entrance, where they entered undetected.

Okay, after WAY too long of a delay, I finally bring you the next part of "A Mario Adventure!"  Here we go!

-----

Mario and Waluigi could hear the commotion outside and watched through a small barred window.  It was chaos!  Koopas and Aliens were tearing at eachother like rabid Fuzzies.  Mario was glad all the Mushroomers had sceedadled back to Toad Town, but knew that if the two armies weren't stopped soon, it wouldn't matter where they ran too: destruction would follow.  And he was stuck in this stupid cell!

"Hey, who do you think will win between those Shy Guys and those Fighter Flies?" Waluigi asked casually.

"You jerk, don't you see this is an all out war, not a betting tournament?!" Mario said angrily.

"I betting on the Shy Guys." a voice said from behind them both.

Mario and Waluigi whipped around to see Luigi and Wario standing behind them on the other side of the bars.  Wario was standing with his arms crossed while Luigi was trying to unlock the door.

"Figures you two would get caught." Wario said rudely.

"Yeah, well, you...uh...you..." Waluigi garbled as he tried to think of a retort.

"Are you still talking?" Wario quirped.

"Shut up and let us out," Waluigi finally settled on.

"I can't.  It's locked and the guard with the keys must have fled," Luigi said standing up once more.

"Oh, stand back you big wuss," Wario said pushing the green clad brother out of the way. "This is a job for WARIO!"

Wario took a few steps back, then, with all his speed and strength, charged at the door.  He colided with it hard and fast--CRASH!--but simply fell backwards onto the ground in pain.

"Oooh..." he said rubbing his head.

Luigi repressed a snicker, but Waluigi didn't even try. "Bwa Ha ha ha ha! 'This is a job for Wario bla bla bla'  Heh heh heh."

Mario was not amused.  "Come on!  We need to get out there and stop the two armies--"

BOOM!  CRASH!  An explosion sent all four of the men flying away from the wall.  Several Bob-ombs had been thrown by Bower's troops and collided with some Bomb-turtles from Tatanga's, blowing a chunk out of Mushroom Palace, right where the cell containing Waluigi and Mario was!

"How convenient." Luigi said.

Mario immediately jumped back into his leadership role.  "Okay, Waluigi, let's go.  Wario, Luigi, you two meet us out there!"

"Gotcha" Luigi agreed.  He ran off.  Wario, still dazed from the failed escape attemped, followed him a little farther back.

Outside, Ace Lakitu was still trying to give play-by-play on the massive battle.  "No side seems to be letting up!  This is furocious, folks!  If you are anywhere in the near vicinity, I would advise you to take cover and wait this out...though as a reporter, I can't bring myself to lea--WHOA!  Bowser has either been knocked out of or has chosen to leave his Koopa Kopter and the two leaders, Bowser and Tatanga, are really duking it out on the Mushroom Palaces Balcony!  This is amazing!  And the Chancellor and Princess are just standing by idlely!"

Of course, the Toadstools were hypnotised and could get out of the way as the massive King Koopa and the slightly-on-the-short-side Alien Conqeror were trying to kill eachother.

"You stupid little shrimp!  I'll tear your head off!" Bowser said lunging for Tatanga.

"I'd like to see you try, you fat, ugly, reptile!" Tatanga retorted.

"WHY YOU!" Bowser said, his eyes glowing red.  With a powerful punch, he tried pounding Tatange into the ground.  Tatanga was quick and doged the attack, however, and Bowser's mighty blow hit the balcony floor.

The punch was so strong, the floor began to crack apart and give way.  "Uh-oh..." Bowser said before the whole floor crumbled away beneath their feet.  Chancellor Toadstool, Peach, Toad, Bowser, and Tatanga all fell toward the ground.

Meanwhile, Luigi and Wario, Mario and Waluigi had all reconveined outside.  "Now what do we do?" Waluigi asked looking at the craziness around them, "We can' fight every badguy here!"

Just then, they heard the crashing of the balcony--which, in turn, was right above them!  The giant Koopa King and the others were on a collision course with our heros!

"Quick!" Mario shouted. The four scrambled.  Mario caught Peach, Luigi caught Toad, Wario grabbed the Chancellor, and Waluigi just stepped out of the way, letting Bowser and Tatanga strike the ground.

"Oof!" The two commanders said as they landed.  Opening there eyes, the first person they saw was Mario.

"YOU!!" they shouted in unison.  All ressentment they held between them vanished at the sight of their enemy.

Boswer scrambled to his feet and charged at Mario.  Mario, holding Peach, jumped above and over him.

"Get him!" Tatanga ordered.

"Get...him..." Peach repeated, as she started attacking Mario.

"Peach!  No!  Snap--ow--out of it!" Mario said, refusing to hit his beloved princess.

"And get them!" Tatanga ordered Toad and Chancellor Toadstool.  Imediately, the two began attacking Wario and Waluigi!

"Don't hurt them--oof!--" Mario yelled at the Wario brohters.

They ignored him, though, and struck Toad and the Chancellor away with powerful punches.

Bowser then whipped around and caught Mario across the face with a huge hit!  Mario was knocked on his back, and Peach then continued attacking him while he was dazed!

Luigi leapt to save his brother, holding Peach back.  Mario, looked away for a brief moment and saw Toad and Chancellor Toadstool standing up. "Ooh, my head..." Toad said holding his forehead.  "What's going on?" the Chancellor said.

"They're snapped out of it!" Mario said.  He turned to Peach, who was being held by Luigi.  Looking away, and swallowing his pride, he slapped Peach across the face.

"Ow!  What'd yo udo that for?!" Peach said in angrily.  Then she saw all the chaos around her.  "Oh no!  What's happening?!"

Just then Bowser charged all of them.  Mario and Luigi were knocked away, and Bowser had grabbed Peach!

"Mwa ha ha ha ha! She's mine once again!" Bowser said in triumph.

Mario and Luigi stood poised to attack, when they heard the scream of another woman high above them.

"AAAH!  Somebody help!"

Luigi looked up ans saw Daisy!  Somehow, in the commotion in the air betwwen all the flying soldiers attacking eachother, she had been knock out of the Koopa Kopter.  The rope she was bound with had caught on a part of the Mushroom Palace, but she was dangling dangerously high, and, to make things worse, the pilot-less Koopa Kopter was flying toward her, it's propeller spinning with dangerously sharp blades!

Tatanga, in the meantime, had called for his minions.  Many of his troops were assembling around him, and since they were coming, the Koopas quickly followed.

Luigi looked around.  Mario and Bowser were gazing at eachother, Wario and Waluigi were surrounded by Tatanga and his soldiers, Toad and the Chancellor were trapped between Sphynx and General Guy, and Daisy was in terrible danger with only seconds to spare!

"What a day..." he thought.

--to be concluded--

AUTHOR"S NOTE: this was supposed to be the conclusion, but it got too long.  I shall conclude it soon, perhaps Friday or Saturday.  Be ready!

AUTHOR HERE:

Wow...it's been a while!  I must apologize for leaving you all hanging for so long.  My life got very hecktic in the last few months in college.  I was a main character in a play, plus have had many tests, papers, and other obligations that have had to come first.  Also, for a while after Sept. 11, I just wasn't really in the mood to post at all.

While I can't say that all these obligations are over, I do want to dedicate myself to finishing this story.  I can't do it now, or even tonight, BUT I hrereby declare that by December 8th, "A Mario Adventure" will be CONCLUDED!  Perhaps over Christmas break, I can even write another one, who knows?

I apologize again for leaving you habging for so long, and thank all who have read this story and enjoyed it so far.

I will be back soon!!

"EEEEEE!!!!" Daisy screamed as the propellor blades approached.  Luigi was far below gazing up at the distressed princess...but then, before HE even knew it, he was in the air!  Jumping from ledge to ledge created in the ruined side of the castle, Luigi rose higher and higher.  Daisy was now parallel to him, but still far to the side.  Luigi, in an amazing and death defying jump, sprung from the edge of a ledge with a patented "wall-jump" and sored toward Daisy.

The Green Clad Plumber reached her just in time, and in a continuous motion, grabbed the Princess and pulled her rope from the rocky side as he started his decent.  The Kooper Kopter's mighty blade started to rip into the castle the mille-second after Luigi and Daisy were out of the way.  One moment of hesitation by Luigi at any point would have spelled doom for the Princess of Sarasaland.

As the Koopa Kopter crashed into the castle, the loud sound of rock being chipped away and ground into distracted those on the ground.  "Luigi!" Mario yelled in concern, and he leapt over the stunned Bowser and ran to catch his brother.  But Luigi's momentum from the wall-jump was taking him out of range of Mario...

Wario then turned to see what all the fuss was about, and looked up to see a Luigi and Daisy missile streaking at him at incredible speed!  "Waaaaaaaaa!!!!" was all he could react with.

Luigi and Daisy stuck Wario hard, causing the three of them to tumble back into Waluigi, who wasn't even looking, but was more concerned with the advaning warriors of Tatanga.  The four then proceeded to bowl right over these afore mentioned warriors, causing them to scatter.

Mario stopped as he saw the chaos...just the oppurtunity Bowser had been waiting for!  Mario felt the King Koopa's claws grasp his neck from behind and pick him up off the ground!

"Bwa ha ha ha ha!! Now, after all these years, I will finally defe--" but Bowser was suddenly caught off guard as a large rock from above struck his head hard.  The Koopa Kopter had continued to chop through the castle wall, and while it itself was being well mangled, it was sending debris falling everywhere!  Bowser dropped Mario, who rolled out of the way as more rocks fell.  Bowser rubbed his head, then looked up at Mario.  "Grrrr!!!" he growled as he readied for attack, but BAM CRASH POW!! the rocks from above fell, this time bigger and more abundant, and the Koopa King was buried in the fray...

Tatanga, a little ways behind Bowser, obsered as the Koopa was crushed.  "I am triumphant once more!  Tatanga the Conqueror rises agai---" but the Aliem Emperor was then stuck with a large rock himself from above.  In his bragging, Tatange had failed to realize HE was in the danger zone as well!  He looked up too late, and was buried in an avalanche like the Koopa King.

At these occurences, the two armies stopped mid-punch.  Their fearless commanders had just been taken out...Neither army knew quite how to react...

"Run away!" one Koopa Troopa yelled, which sent both armies back into chaos, but this time the chaos of retreat.  Goombas scampered away and were trampled by Stone Warriors; Fighter Flies were knocked out of the sky by Para-Troopas; Bob-ombs and Bomb Turtles alike were exploding for no reason.

General Guy tried to keep order. "Stand you ground men!! That is an order!!" Also, Sphynx
attempted to calm his troops, but both failed.  The two realized all was lost, and abandoned the Chancellor, Toad, and Princess.  They ran to the rock piles and mananged to pull Tatanga and Bowser free.  Both leaders were badly bruised and beaten.

Finally, the two armies separated, and each hurried off back to whence they came.

Mario, breathing heavily, observed the battle field.  The side of the castle the Koopa Kopter hit was ripped up pretty bad, but that wasn't his top concern.  He saw Luigi, Waluigi, Wario, and Daisy all still in a pile, then saw Peach, Toad, and the Chancellor standing nearby with shocked and confused looks on their faces.  The area around them looked terribly beat up.  The melee had left quite the impression.

"Is..is everyone alright?" the Plumber asked.

"Get off of me!!" Wario shouted as he pushed Daisy and Luigi off of himself.  Daisy, still bound, fell backwards onto her backside.  "Ow!"

Luigi had only flipped over, and was on his feet in a second, stepping over to the Princess. "Are you okay?" he asked helping her up.

Daisy winced in pain as she stood, but then looked at the Younger Plumber and smiled.  "I am...thanks to you."

This caused Luigi to blush. "Thanks to him?!" Wario said, standing behind them.
The whole venture to rescue you was my idea! And WHO broke your fall?  ME! I want credit were credit is due!" He then shoved Luigi down to the ground and stood face to face with Daisy. "Go ahead, Princess, you can kiss me!" he gave his trademarked "Wario toothy smile" and then closed his eyes and puckered up.

WUMP!! Daisy, still bound in the ropes, kicked her foot right between Wario's legs.

"Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...." Wario said distressed and wide eyed.  He then toppled to the right and laid on the ground in terrible pain.  Waluigi just looked on with a surpirsed look.

Daisy then knelt down to Luigi. "Are YOU okay?" she asked. Luigi smiled as he looked at Wario riling on the ground. "Never been better!"

**A week later**

The Toad Town Post-Koopa Invation Re-construction Crew had done it again, restoring the castle grounds to their original splendor in no time.  Princess Toadstool then held another grand get together for those involved in the recent battle.

It had taken the Royals a little while to get back into things.  Tatanga's spell was a stong one, and Peach found herself still referring to him as "Master Tatanga" and such for a few days.  Peach and the Chancellor felt extremely guilty for what they had done, but Mario assured them it was not their fault.  Daisy stayed for a little longer then she had expected in order to help Peach out around the castle.

In the throne room, Mario and Luigi just had entered.  Wario and Waluigi were already there.  Peach had not wanted to invite them, but the Chancellor pointed out that they DID help in this mess, and deserved to be rewarded as well.  Toad and a variety of other Toads, including Tayce T. and others from town, were also there.  Peach smiled at Mario as he came in.

"Oh, good, you're all here! Now we can start the ceremony," the Chancellor stated "*Ahem*, dear fellow Mushroom Kingdomites!  In recognition of bravery above and beyond the call of duty, and saving this castle, town , and kingdom from certain doom being brought by no less than TWO hostile armies, I hereby declar this day to forever be known as...um..." He looked at the Mario Bros and Wario Bros both standing at attention, "ARIO Brothers day! Yes, that should cover it." He smiled and then said, "Now let's all enjoy a great feast in their honor!"

The party ensued.  Peach went over to Mario. "Thanks again...I even forgive the slap." she said with a smile and a wink.  Mario blushed. "Aw, gee...Just doing my job!" Peach kissed the plucky plumber right on the lips, causing Mario to go as red as his cap!

Luigi observed the two from a distance, then felt a tep on his shoulder. He turned to see Daisy.  "Those were some pretty nice stunts you pulled you know...to save me," she
said.

Luigi took off his cap and started playing with it in his hands.  "Aw...it wasn't anything, Princess...."

"Daisy," she corrected, "Call me Daisy."

"Okay Dais--" but he was cut off as the Pricess stepped forward and planted a kiss right on his lips! Luigi opened his eyes wide in surprise, then closed them again as he smiled.

Wario stood a few feet away, arms crossed and face fuming, as he watched Daisy kiss Luigi. Waluigi, standing next to him, gave a quick laugh and said, "Guess she doesn't thank everyone with a kick to the groin.  Just you! Heh heh!"

Wario punched him out and went to over to the food table.

Daisy released the kiss stepped back and smiled at Luigi. "I need to be going. Father was expecting me back a while ago. I'm sorry."

"Oh...Oh..okay..." Luigi stuttered, still obviously stunned.

"Hey, call me, okay?  Peach has my number.  And I'll try to come around here more often..." she gave him a little wink. "Strictly for the tennis matches, of course..."

"Of course..." Luigi repeated, his eyes practically shaped like hearts.

Daisy gave a little wave as she waled off and out the doors. Mario came over to his brother.

He patted him on the back and simply stated, "See?  The good guys get the girls!"  Luigi, still looking at the door where Daisy had walked out of, just smiled and sighed, "Yeah..."

And there you have it! It took months to do but the story is done.  Once again, my aopologies for not finishing this sooner.  I explained earlier my reasons.  I hope that you all enjoyed it!  Please, give me your feedback!

Would you like me to write another (if I promise to at least post something once a week)?  What did you like the most in this story?  What characters would you like so see?  I have a few ideas, and I can't include everything, but this was enjoyable.

Talk to you all later!

Very nice!  You managed to get all of the characters' personalities to play off one another very successfully through the whole.  And in the conclusion, though I'm sure everybody could guess, more or less, how it was going to turn out, you really managed to keep it dramatic and ... concluding? (I can't think of the right word right now.)  Especially as Luigi went to save Daisy:  anybody can give an action sequence - movies do it all the time - but that last line, "One moment of hesitation by Luigi at any point would have spelled doom for the Princess of Sarasaland," really gave it some perspective.  That's something that a cheap movie action scene can never really achieve..

Again:  Great job, Roy Koopa!

AWESOME!! Man, that was great! Congratulations! You are a writer!
I don't really have anything else to say about how good you are at this, but I think I made my point. Thanks for entertaining us, Roy!

Now, about writing a second story... I don't think that's a good idea. Too risky, at least now. You just finished one and are receiving greetings, why not take a break and enjoy that? Dude, just breath a bit, smile and look around you. Feel satisfied. I don't think it's a good idea to get to work again; you won't be able to proceed as good as before.

Anyway, congratulations again, Roy. You should be proud of yourself.

Oh, and: I received your reply to my e-mail... wich was a reply to your e-mail. Ain't it funny? Anyway, I'm gonna... reply your last e-mail today or tomorrow.

YOu already got my e-mail, I believe, but I'll say it anyway: Feel free! Just be sure that I get the proper credit for the story, please don't change too much, and keep it light and fun, as any true Mario story should be.

Also, I'd really like to see it! Thanks!

Just thougt I'd dig up this forgotten treasure for the newer members to see. It's a great story and I'm sure many of the new guys have never even heard of it.

"Walk softly and carry a Super Scope."
"At Dukar, we place our emphasis on serving you, supporting
you, and helping you be as successful as possible."

Hey, I'm back! I in no way have any more free time than before, but I have returned.  So, anyone out there still interested in my overactive imagination combined with my insane Mario fan-dom?  Anyone? Anyone? Aw, nuts...

I kid, I kid.  Talk to ya later!
