Not exactly a cry-inducing photograph...

This was my cry thing when I was young. Ranger Rick and his team try so hard to save nature, but Rick got to this loon too late. It was because the loon swallowed a sinker made of lead, poisoning and killing it.

Incidentally I think showing animals dying or other consequences is the best way to spur someone to action. Especially if it's on the Discovery channel so you get to know the animal and it's family and life before it bites the dust. To my knowledge it's the only time the magazine went this far. There was another time where Scarlett was about to get run over by a truck (see next issue to find out what happens, kids!), which led to a delightful sarcastic online article about how manipulative it was.

Coolkid's picture is sad by association with the episode it's from.

Nearly lost @Kuromatsu.
If she is indeed genetically mutated such that she has an eye in the back of her head, then I guess that she is genetically mutated and has an eye in the back of her head.

Totally totally lost at coolkid's pic. "Jurassic Bark" was one of a few Futurama episodes I hadn't seen. So I watched it. And I cried. I think it got some imaginary awards for making TV critics cry. Forget it being sad by association of its episode, it's sad just by itself.

Cry some more!

Lost again. This is like Scrubs sad worthy. Speaking of Scrubs, this will cheer you back up.
