This looks like it is a very interesting and entertaining movie. I cannot know for sure, though, because Microsoft has done such a splendid job making the Mac version of Windows Media Player—the video lags so badly that a new frame appears about once every two seconds or so. Either that, or the format is just poorly designed. Do you think you could use a different format, Lizard Dude, like .avi or something else? I would certainly appreciate it.

Oh, and speaking of Microsoft, heh heh . . .

Going back to your movie, I'm guessing that the title is referring to the piece of music played in it (the audio did play okay for me). Nice choice of sound to match the image, I must say. ^_^

Ahahaahaahahaähaha!!! That Microsoft thing is great!!
By the way, I know what you mean about the Mac WMP, which I have as well. *sigh* It'll probably be better when we get our G5, though. I love Macs, but it seems everybody makes things only for Windows these days, and we have to rely on programs that translate these for Macs... ah well, you're on a Mac too, so you understand. What kind is it anyway?

LD tells me you'll answer my other question soon, so I won't ask about it here.
If the movie could be changed to .avi, that would help. A few days ago I found some program for Mac/Windows that can change all sorts of formats into each other... I'll have to go find it...

Larger file, slightly worse quality, better for Macs.

O_o

I can't believe I waited an hour and 11 minutes for that.

That was awesome.

Thank you for doing that, Lizard. The true message of your post is loud and clear, but I will not argue. For one, I deserve it, and I know it. For another, I am not a Macintosh computer, so it really isn't a jab at me. And for three, you just did me a favor, and arguing with you would be a terrible way to say "Thank you."

Wow, that movie is great!! I laughed a lot! Thank you for making that, Lizard. The quality of the video is impressive for what I'm guessing is a web cam; were you using a web cam?

Yes, n/a, I knew about your question, but I have not had time to post in that topic again (I think there are several posts in there that I must reply to). I'll just give you a link to the software I use now. As for your comment, ". . . it seems everybody makes things only for Windows these days, and we have to rely on programs that translate these for Macs..." I would like to respond, but I am seriously out of time. I'll just conclude by saying that it's very nice to have another member in our midst who understands the Apple appeal; both waluigifan2001 and GoombaDoom left, and I'm unsure whether vidgmchtr ever joined the forums.

My post had no true meaning aside from relaying the difference between the new file and old.

I understand what Macs are for.

With that said, here's a good counter to that other link.

GoombaDoom didn't exactly leave voluntarily, you know.

I read the Yahoo! article, and I would hardly say that it's a good counter. But I'm not going to list the reasons why because it doesn't matter. You probably enjoy emotionally controlled debates in these forums, Lizard Dude, but I see no point in going back and forth over this topic. You have made it very clear that you believe Microsoft is doing the right thing, and I do not think that you can be persuaded otherwise; I, similarly, will die disliking Microsoft. So I see absolutely no point in putting any kind of a strain on our friendship for the sake of pointless arguing.

If it is any comfort, I posted the above link to that article because my older brother had just e-mailed it to me, and it was on my mind—I did not go searching for an anti-Microsoft article when I found that your movie didn't work right. I still made the decision to post the link, though, and now it's looking like that was a bad move. Thus you have my apology.

It could be true, I suppose, that you're just trying to get some insight into the crazy minds of Mac users. Maybe you're thinking, "Why on Earth would anyone want to use such trash?!" If that's the case, then I can e-mail you a list of reasons why we prefer Macs that, again, my older brother gave me (he made it). That, if even it, would be as far as I'm willing to go. I think that it'd be best for you and I to agree to disagree on this, just as we basically did about a certain political issue or two.

Heh, I thought I made it clear two posts ago that I had nothing against Macs, but I'm not going to argue. The only thing is that I'm a hardcore PC gamer, and there's no way I could do that on a Mac. Plus, being raised with PCs helps, I suppose. I'd guess in turn that you had some sort of Mac upbringing.

P.S. I also posted that iTunes article because I had just had it sent to me and it was on my mind.

Ick. The link you (Watoad) gave me is for Mac OS X. I'm on an iMac (OS 9.2.2) *sigh* oh well, I'll just wait until we get our G5... Only another few months probably...

You know, back when this was first posted, the 20 Meg size scared my 56k off, but now that I have DSL, a question.

What flavor were they?

I just watched the film, I about fell out of my chair laughing when you whipped out the whisk, the song was a good choice also, very epic. I think the best use of it was the opening of the jack*** movie.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. O Fortuna is the first part of the twenty-five part Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

Is "O Fortuna" the song played in the final fight scene in Matrix Revolutions?  I heard somewhere that it is, but I'm not sure.

I was going to ask why you didn't post this in LizCam Productions (because it would have been perfect after my last post there), but I just realized that you actually replied to my post already. My bad.

Anyway, I'm amazed that this Aqua-copying is going on. It is major flattery (i.e. to Apple, not to me) and, if you ask me, further "proof" of Mac OS' superiority. Except . . . why not just buy a stinkin' Mac, for cryin' out loud?!! When I consider the fact that PCs are still being used instead of Macs, I can't help but think of this as a kind of insult (to Apple) as well.

The excuse given by the article is totally lame: "Wardell said the best way to support Apple, of course, is to get a Mac, but a lot of his customers are in a youthful age bracket, and feel they can't yet afford a Mac, given Apple's reputation for charging premium prices." I know that Macs were at one point overpriced—which is one of the major reasons that Microsoft now owns the world—but my understanding is that this problem ceased many years ago. Am I wrong? I'll admit that I haven't done a price comparison lately (or ever), but I don't imagine that Apple is so stupid that they'd fall back into their old mistake of being ("reasonably") arrogant with prices.

In any case, thanks for sharing that, Lizard. It's certainly interesting. Feel free to ignore my banter and opinions; they mean something (but far from everything) to me, but that doesn't mean you need to pay them any heed if you don't want to.

P.S. I apologize for my overuse of parentheses. They just sorta weeded their way into this post.
