Title: Mario Advance 4 Goombas...
Post by: kamikaze koopa on June 11, 2004, 03:31:31 PM
Ok, this has been bugging me for a while.  I keep seeing this one screenshot of Mario Advance 4 that shows Racoon Mario in a level that seems to be made out of music  note blocks.  The thing is, he's fighting a couple of Mario World type Goombas.  I would assume it's an E-Level.

Can anybody tell me if those types of Goombas are actualy in the game?  Just out of curiosity.

That may be the one from Level Card (Mushroom) 06 called Magical Note Blocks, but it's difficult to say without an image.

I could find an image, and my scanner is not working.

Aslo, GS codes are at http://www.geocities.com/mrgamer37/gba/gsmarioadv4.html

The boomerang VBA video is at http://www.zophar.net/vmv/gba/.  In order to view the video you need VBA which can be downloaded at http://vba.ngemu.com/downloads.shtml and a copy of the ROM.  Since I have the game and a cable to put it on my computer I can use it to watch the video.  I will not post links here to illegal ROM sites.

Nope. That isn't the stage. There's no SMW Style Goombas in Magical Note Blocks. Only enemies in the entire stage are Buzzy Beetles and Koopa Troopas.

Here, I found a pic.

It's a really old one.  Probably from a beta level that they decided not to include.

I don't remember that level.  I beat the entire game including all the e-levels from series 1 and 2.  Maybe that level will/was in the series 3 or 4 eReader cards.
