Video Game Chat / Megaman: Powered Up

This game is about a year old, but I got it yesterday and was wondering if anyone else had it here (mabey not, since you need a PSP to play it, but I'm giving it a shot). The game is beyond awesome if only for the fact you can play as the boss characters. It kinda brings back old memories from that day in age with classic level designs and enemies. Anyway, I was just curious to see if someone else had it here; mabey we can discuss it.

Er....I tried making a poll out of this......but when I previewed it, only 5 choices were available! Can someone help me?

Anyway, I was just wondering who your favorite president is (yes, who can choose William Henry Harrison). I dunno, my History teacher asked me to do this, and I am kind of curious.  :)

You can also discuss the presidents here. This would be so much better if it were a poll, but I couldn't even get it to post, let alone get all the choices on the "ballot". Forgive me if this has been done before.

Chapter one

One day, if for no reason at all, Wario jumped out of his castle and brushed his armpits.
"Ah, it's so great that I don't have to get two brushes for my pits and my teeth! I wonder why other people don't use one brush to brush them both?"
Waluigi came out from the darkness of his brother's home and stared at the sun. His eyes burned with every minute he continued to look. He brushed the sleep from his eyes and smacked his brow.
"What an idiot," he sneered. "Why am I forced to live with that guy?"
Wario turned around and noticed the name carved into the brush he was using to clean his pits. Even though he couldn't read, he still recognized the name.
"Oops! This isn't mine! It's yours, Waluigi! Here ya go," Wario said with a smile.
Waluigi pulled a hair from the gap in his two front teeth. "Of course......."
Wario stared at his brother confused. "Well, aren't ya gonna yell and scream at me? You always do that when I touch yer stuff!"
"Wario," said Waluigi, "I've stopped caring for all the crap you put me through each day. I'm moving out of here this instant and living my life alone."
Waluigi went inside and ran up stairs, grumbling to himself the whole time. He opened the door, tossed his clothing into a strange bag and slowly climbed back down. He noticed Wario was drooling all over himself.
"Oh yeah. He forgets how to breath if I'm not around to tell him." He took a few more steps away.
"..........this might come back to haunt me.........but what the heck? I've had enough anyway."
Waluigi left the perimeter of Wario's castle, and kept on walking. He didn't care where he was going, he just wanted out.
Wario was left with a blank look on his face. Lord knows if he knew what had happened at that moment.
"I-I......egh.........ugh.........." was all he could say. Just then, he sprang right up off the ground and raised his right hand which held the brush.
"Ah, it's so great that I don't have to get two brushes for my pits and my teeth! I wonder why other people don't use one brush to brush them both?" Wario began to brush his pits as if he had forgotten that Waluigi had left.
"Waluigi! Waluigi? Where are ya, buddy?" Wario searched up and down his castle looking for Waluigi, but he couldn't seem to locate his brother. Just when he was about to give up hope, Wario found a note, hanging from the fridge. It said:

"Dear Wario,
I know these past years have been some of the best of your life, and you may feel that you and I share a bond that only true brothers could ever hold. Well we don't. I hate you with every follicle of my being. You eat my food, steal my stuff and drive me crazy. I think it's time that we go our seperate ways and live seperate lives. Yes, you may feel sad, but trust me........with your memory, you should forget this ever happened in about.......I dunno, mabey 3 seconds? I bid you adieu, dear brother and...........wait a second, you can't even read! I've waisted nearly 3 minutes of my life writing this letter. Well, whatever. You might die soon because I think you don't remember how to breathe unless I'm there to tell you. See you in the next life, sucker! -Waluigi."

Wario stared at the letter.
"I'm hungry," he said and threw the letter in the garbage can.
"What is there to eat? Oh, I know! I know! Burgers! Wait, where are the burgers? Hey Waluigi, can you help me find the burgers? Waluigi? Waluigi?"


Will Wario ever find his burgers? What will he use to cook them with? Will he forget how to breathe? You'll just have to keep reading!

General Chat / Flashback

Have you guys ever had something happen to you that it flashes back now and then? For example, I broke my arm when I was 11 and everytime someone is injured before my eyes it comes back to me and I can sorta remember the pain. It just happened yesterday when my friend was skateboarding and broke his wrist. I just want to know if these kind of things happen to everyone, not just me.

Here's a fun game I just thought up. Here's the deal: You pick a Mario Character, think up FALSE history for them, and post it here. If you don't undertsand, here's an example:

The Story of Mario:

Born into a log cabin at the age of 3 in Italy, New York, Super Mario found that at a young age he had a strong taste for mushrooms on his pizza. The strange thing is that whenever he ate these mushrooms, they'd cause him to grow out of the cabin, destroying it. Eventually, his parents kicked him out of the house because of this, and a pair of old muchroom people adopted him. Mario continued to show strange signs of an unstable mind when he tied a cape to his back, leaped off the edge of his new home and crushed turtles. His "parents" refused to believe that he was crazy, and to prove it, they adopted 3 other babies and named them Luigi, Wario and Waluigi for Mario to play with. Mario, however, ran away while they were at the adoption agency and was hired as a construction worker (after about 17 years of living alone in the mushroom forest). His first job assignment was to stop the escaped gorilla (at the top of the building) tossing boxes at innocent bystanders. After he had accomplished his goal, Mario was kidnapped by a rouge stork and transformed back into a baby. The stork, however, dropped baby Mario back into the mushroom woods while looking for his beer bottle. There Mario met a prehistoric survivor named Boshi, and was once again raised back to adulthood. He was living the good life until one of the turtles Mario had tortured back in the days of his youth came back and kidnapped a random Princess to feast upon. Mario found the turtle on top of a bridge and used a nearby axe to hack him..........err, I mean cut down the bridge and rescue the Toad. The Toad responded with "Congratulations Mario, your quest is complete. I present you with a new quest." Mario completed the quest all over again and got a huge cake for his troubles. He ate cake and began a carrer in music (he was dubbed "The King" at one point) until the cake eating finally caught up with him. While sitting on the pot in a nearby hotel, a heart attack took his life. He was laid to rest in Memphis Tennesse, where tourists have the chance to see his hideous remains. As for Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and "Boshi"? Well, that's up to you.



Yeah, it's kinda stupid, but I think it might be fun. ;D

This is kind of a stupid idea, but have you ever noticed someone that kinda looks like Mario in real life? This is a topic where you compare the physical appearance of a video character to that of a celeb or someone you know. It can be any character, and you can even post pictures if you want.

(No, this is not topic about what you think of our government.)

I'm in an AP History class, I need your help. With our powers combined.............we can all cast a vote on which government America really needed back in the 1700's.

I need votes people, and I need them now. I've been assigned to Theocracy, and I'm trying to figure out if that type of government is appealing to the people. With your voting powers in hand, vote on "which one of these whould have been best for America after the first revolution?"

For those who don't know which is which, here's a def.
(Everyone can help out. This is a project, you know.)


Monarchy: A King or Queen rules the people. (EX: England)
Republic: People elect delegates to represent them. (ex: America.)
Democracy: The people rule. They make all the decisions for themselves by vote (EX: Greece)
Dictatorship: One guy rules all, with complete control over the military. (EX: Soviet Union)
Theocracy: The Church rules, and makes decisions based on what God tells them (EX: Puritian America)
Anarchy: No one rules. Everyone is out for themselves. (EX: Small isolated areas in Africa, S. America, ect.)

I just thought of something fun to play, it's no big deal, but I thought It'd be cool. No, I'm not really a psychic, but I can at least pretend. All you have to do is come to me and I'll TRY and predict what you did today. It's only a game, and trust me, I'll mess up. If you want, I can predict your future and see what happens the next day, too. Let's just have some fun with this, shall we?

I was thinking about how I usually go to bed at 11:00 on the weekdays, and I was just wondering: What time do you guys usually sleep? There's really nothing to explain, I just want to compare times. On weekdays, like I said before, I go to sleep at 11:00 and wake up at 8:00. What do you guys do about sleeping?

Game Help / Japan Import Game! Need help!

Okay, the game is a Naruto game, so I only want help from a Naruto fan with the game. It's the 4th installment of the Gekitou Ninja Taisen series. So far, my brother and I have figured out how to play multiplayer mode, but we don't know how to get to missions or any of that. Could someone here help me out? I didn't know where else to turn, and I was just wondering if there was a slim chance that anyone else played the game.

To all of you who played the original World RPG, have I got something for you. I think last time failed because I created too many rules, and it just fell apart after words. Well this time, I've decided to hold open tourney's between us. We pick our characters as always, but this time we'll be fighting each other. (Duh) I'll pare everyone up, we'll fight, and then the next round will commence until a champion is the last one standing. Sound fun? Anyway, I'm not sure on who I want to be, so I'll wait until some characters are taken up, just to be fair. It doesn't matter who posts first, because the matches will be random.

No, I'm not asking who the best racer is, but who your best with. For me, it's Donkey Kong, because of his drifting skills. I'm conducting this because I want to know who most people identify with. Like if Luigi gets the most votes, I might try him more often.

-You only need 1 chaos emerald to transform into Super Sonic.
-You beat Robotnik in Sonic 3 with Tails..........only you were playing as Sonic!
-You only need one power ring to beat the game.

Here's a fun game idea. One person picks a certain game and we try and be a character in that game. You can only be one character at a time, but after a while, we'll change the game subject. When we talk, we have to speak in their accent, and interact with the other characters around you the best you can.

I don't want to start with Mario, so someone else can pick.

Are you guys ready for war? Welcome to Cold War, where the object of the game is to become the game world's number one superpower. What allies and enemies will you encounter? Who will betray who? And what character will come out on top in the end? Only you can decide.


The rules are difficult, but can be taught. First of all, at the start of the game, you choose your character. The game is limited to 10 people unless I let more in. Everyone takes turns deciding what to do to benifit their side. The order is decided by the order of which we join, then as the game progresses, the country in the best position to win will go first. Everyone starts with 30 Million people, but can gain or lose depending on what happens. When you reach 0 people, you lose.


When it's your turn, you have multiple choices:

1. Build weapons, army, defence systems, silos or airplanes.
2. Offer a treaty to another country/character. Countries under treaty cannot attack each other and usually gang up on one country that is giving them trouble. Of course, you don't have to accept the treaty. Only 2 groups of countries can be under treaty at one time. (That means 4 countries.)
3. Start a propaganda. Flip a coin. If heads, steal 2 million people from an enemy of your choice. If tails, it's vice versa, in favor of the other guy.
4. Send spies to steal weapons. Flip a coin. If heads, steal a weapon of your choice from an enemy of your choice. If tails, your spy is killed. You only get 3 spies per game.
5. Launch weapon. The enemy has one turn to activate a defence system. If they can't do it, then they will lose some people.

Here's the weapons and their descriptions.


1. Big Bombs 10 Mega tons kill 500,000 people and take one building turn to make one.
30 Mega Tons kill 2 Million people and take 2 building turns to make.
50 Mega Tons kill 3 Million and take 3 building turns.
90 Mega Tons kill 3.5 Million and take 5 Building turns.

2. Mini Missles
First level will kill 500,000. Take 1 building turn
2nd level will kill 1 Million. Take 2 Building turns
3rd level will kill 2 million. Take 3


3. Army. Each army you launch will take out 1 million people. There is no defence againts an army.



Defence System: 1. Air defence. If an enemy wants to deliver weapon by air, this will shoot it down.
2. Silo Defence. If enemy wants to deliver weapon by silo, this will defend againts that.

Also, launching a weapon without a silo or plane is impossible.



I will be Luigi. Here is my current status. When you run out of weapons, you must take building turns to make more.
