I just realized he completely missed Mario's "There are no brakes!" line at the end of the car chase, when just a few shots ago we clearly saw the car breaking. It's also really obvious that that line was added in post.

Now that you mention it, even the Shadow Queen, a demonic entity, has a certain sense of congeniality about her. She's pretty gleeful about her whole 'plunge the world into darkness' shtick, and seems to have a sense of familial comradery with Beldam and Marlyn, who were devoted to her enough to resort to a pretty elaborate and ultimately humanely flawed plan to resurrect her.

The worst mistake I made last year was walking around in a pair of leather boots for my Luigi costume at NY Comic Con. By the forth day I took to walking around in my socks when I wasn't sitting down (which was most of the time). I'm prolly gonna make an extra provision to wear more comfortable shoes this year. :X

I enjoy the stories of how the movie got made ruined far more than the actual movie. They should make a movie out of that: "The Making of the Super Mario Bros. Movie: The Movie". I'd love it.
