About one third of the way through to half way in the video there is what appear to be a falling Mario like in SMB3.  I think this was a tech demo so it might not be a game, but it looks cool.  Anyone have more info on it?

That's actually Baby Mario and the graphics are based on Yoshi's Island.  In this demo, you draw clouds to guide him away from enemies and collect coins as he falls down the screen.

I heard somewhere that it might become a game because of the tech demos popularity.

I can just taste the irony, and the irony tastes like pancakes. Mmmmmm...
