It sounds like it would be very tiring. I really don't understand this trend of making games that require more physical activity. I don't know about anyone else, but when I play a video game, I just want to sit on the couch and take it easy. No running, jumping, or waving your arms around and getting carpal-tunnel. But rather, just chill and push buttons.

I've never heard anyone say any of those things about teenagers.

How in the world does the death penalty waste taxpayer money? How expensive can it be to inject some chemicals or electrocute a person?

I'm all for the death penalty. Anyone who intentionally kills a person, deserves to be killed themself. Also, it prevents any chance of them doing it again.

For some reason, it reminds me of Donkey Kong Country 3.

Pro-life. No matter what the reason is, abortion is still murder.

I just found out that we're getting an adaptation of Kamen Rider this fall. From the sounds of it, it looks like it's way better than Masked Rider and it will fulfill that void I've had ever since Power Rangers was moved to Toon Disney.
Yeah, I've been looking forward to it for quite a while. I don't think it's going to be shown until next year, though. At least, that's what their site says.

They shouldn't charge any more for it than a normal Snes game. If they did charge 2000 points or whatever, that would be like them charging $200 for it back in the day.

Video Game Chat / Re: Emulators vs. Consoles

Consoles are better by far even tho they don't support many good features emulation does. (not including frame skipping and accuracy modifiers but rather sound channel muting options, etc.)
Why would you want to mute any of the sound channels?

I went to Super-Jesse's MySpace page in a futile attempt to figure out what became of him. Don't make the same mistake I did. After warning #tmk about it, Suffix had this bit of wisdom:

<Suffix_gmod> Weep not for he who was unstable to begin with; rather, try to maintain your sanity lest you end up like him.

I looked at it, and didn't see anything out of the ordinary...

I know Wikipedia is not always accurate with information, but I hope they're right about AoSTH being aired on Boomerang some day
Why watch it on Boomerang when you can watch the DVDs?

Speaking of which, Volume 2 is coming later this year. :)

I'd like to see a graphically enhanced version of Donkey Kong Country or Super Mario RPG. Assuming they still have all their original source files, they could render them out at 24-bit and 480p. Too bad the Wii doesn't do HD, because HD versions would be even better.

Not at the Dinner Table / Re: The homeless
« on: June 04, 2008, 03:30:00 PM »
It's hard to get a job with no residence or driver's license or place to shower.
You don't have to have a driver's license- you can just go down to the DMV and get an ID card.
As for having a place to live/shower, they can tell the employer that they will be able to get a place after they are hired. I'm sure someone would be nice enough to hire them.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who isn't even trying to get a job or something. Also, alot of "homeless" people are fakes. They just pretend to be homeless, and use the change people give them to buy drugs or alcohol. So, I never give them anything.

I don't understand why so many people are homeless. Why don't they just get off their butts and get a job?
