Mario Chat / Mario Sunshine: Kiddie or cool?

Here's the jist of the jibe, Not much is known about Mario Sunshine, so i dont know how people like Todd can say wether they like it or not (i personaly think thats a little stupid). The little bit i saw of it (from pictures, and movies and writting about it) is it is more like the Dreamcast Sonic games, as far as backgrounds. There were no cute mushroom buildings or clouds with eyes, it was very realistic. With reall looking houses and plants, and a big blue photo reallistic sky. Mario has a strange backpack thing on his back and a water level meter at the top of the screen. Nobody knows what its for but they think it shoots water and that the meter is to show wether you need to refill your water tank or not. Mario moves alot like he did in Super Mario 64, only smoother and more realistic. He does wall jumps and the like, and it looks really fun to jump around. All in all, nobody knows anything about this so i think you should just hold off on wether its going to be good or not. I agree the title is stupid sounding but the people who have been saying it looks kiddie have no idea what there talking about, there just blowing hot air. Yoshi's Story was kiddie, this so far looks more grown up than any past mario games, so shut yer pie holes! And come on, How many Mario games have you played have disapointed you? Not alot i would assume (Mario is missing doesnt count ;] ). Well thats all i hafto say.

I aint trying to bug anyone! I like all those games I listed. I wasent calling them crap. I was making a point. If you dont like a game by some other company dont blame Nintendo. Geez dont get so uppety. As for the answer "you want" I like Mario he is a cool character that is why I play Nintendo games and buy Nintendo systems. Its like this. You like an actor in one movie. But dont like another movie that actor is in. Get it? I like mario in SM64 but not in some other games. And no just because a company makes a game for the N64 doesnt make it part of Nintendo. You hafto give all the credit to that company. Alot of people worked on those games and then you say "Wow Nintendo made an awsome game." That gives no credit to the people who actualy made it. I just tell it like it is. And if the truth hurts. The truth hurts!

Mario Chat / A big Mario fan is passing away

My family got a call last night, my grandpa isn't doing well. His Cancer is getting worse so we are rushing over to New Jersey today in about an hour. My Grandpa got me my first home console, the Super Nintendo (my favorite system of all time). I played that thing to death, Super Mario world is awsome. He made me a Mario fan, and I helped him buy video games (he has a gameboy, SNES, and an N64). I'll miss him, and I'll miss playing Mario games with him.

Mario Chat / SSB2 The character list (a little thing on an old post)

Haha, I just read one of my old posts people are still posting on. It's that SSB 2 character list one. Mine is still by far THE best! It's full of no-names and characters only I like. And through that whole thing, i dont think i saw one person besides me who wanted Capt. Falcon to return, SHAME ON YOU! Well that's over anyways, SSB2 will be out in a few months, and Capt. Falcon is still in it HA! I liked Chocobo's reply to it the best, he had me as a character in it.

Mario Chat / The Super Mario World commercials

Does anyone remember those? For some reason I remember seeing a HUGE goomba in one of the levels and i thaught it was another big world type level. But when i got it I didnt see any big world. Is it just me or does any one here remember that? I'm thinking maybe in the unfinished version they had a big world but it got taken out. That's possible because there are video games with screen shots on the backs of there boxes of levels that arent even in the game.

Mario Chat / My views on the new GC games

Alright after going to a ton of news websites and official websites i have made some opinions on some of the games.

Super Smash Bros. Melee: What could be cooler? This game looks great, i know it's going to fun. There are all kinds of new options and modes, and best of all, Cpt. Falcon is still in it!

Luigi's Mansion: The graphics look good, but it is pretty weird to me. Why they chose to make a ghostbusters type game staring Mario characters i havnt a clue, i would be more happy with a "normal" Mario game. I'm not bashing it just yet, but i dont think it will be one im going to get to excited about.

Pikmin: Weirdness, thats all i can say. Nintendo has a thing with cute little animals, and that's a problem. I doubt i'll be buying this.

Metroid Prime: I was so happy when they said they were doing another Metroid game, but then i found out...it's going to be a FIRTS PERSON SHOOTER! I have no idea why they chose to do that, and it makes me a little mad. Why take a great action, adventure game and make it a FPS? Oh well, it had just better be REALLY good, and have a "normal" sequal.

Metroid IV: This game is for GBA and its a "normal" metroid game, it looks like it will be really cool

I also heard that Namco may do Tekken Tage Team for GC! That will be so cool!

Well enough about what i think, what do you think?

Hey guys, it's me i just thaught id say what's up? I was reading the posts and saw Chocobo's post about Me being in PM, that made me laugh. About that, he was my decoy, I'm planning an evil plot against the Mario Bros. right now, it has something to do with kidnapping mario and lureing Luigi into a mansion full of ghost, but i have said to much! Hope the cool people i used to talk to are still here. Later!
