Mario Chat / uh-oh! Marios getting high again.

Awhile ago me and my two older brothers were talking about Mario (22 and 24 years old). They started joking about how the game was about doing drugs because mario got a "magic" mushroom and grew (in reall life you can smoke a type of mushroom) and you get the fire flow to throw fire balls. If you think about it, the mushroom idea was ripped off from alice in wonderland (for real!). And the guy who wrote alice in wonderland was on drugs when he wrote the book. So I guess you could say it's about drugs!

I remember when I was like 8 or 9 years old I went to Chucky Cheeze's for my birthday. I went into the huge arcade room (every one else was in the ball pit...suckers!). After playing about 3 machines I saw a Super Mario Bros. 3 arcade game. Some girl was playing the first level. What this post is about is has any one seen a SMB3 arcade machine? Or is it just me. I never saw it again. It was weird because I didn't know they did the Mario Bros. as arcade games, especialy 3.

Site Discussion / were all just to cool!

The one thing I like about this message baord is that every one is level headed. It seems like every one has some one who agrees with them (wich is cool), and some one who doesnt (wich is also cool). And the coolest thing is we can argue and not get totally ****ed off at each other. And when we do slip up we dont hold it against the person. I think we should give a round of sound for every one here for being so cool and mature about the whole thing...ROCK ON DUDES!

Okay, you can stop making your self feel good and go back to your boring lives. I know I will, Gadda git on maa knee high boots and hunt 'koon fer Supper.

Hey man, I wasn't calling YOU a lair I was calling the person who told you about the 3D GFX a lair (sorry about that dude). But listen, don't you think Nintendo would be bragging there butts off about a hand held 3D system? You bet they would! I don't think you will see 3D hand helds untill the little mini CD hand helds come out. No way man im not bashing you im not like that. BTW Thanks to you guys for correcting me on the SNES GFX capability, sorry about the typo. I was thinking playstation (oiy!). Sorry about the miss understanding and the screwed info. Mario Chat / Mario TV Show

Hey, do any of you guys know if the Mario show is still on? I saw like three episodes when I was over @ friends houses (didn't have a TV at that time). So if you guys know the station, day, and time I would really aprecciate (is that spelled right? Dont think so) it if you sent em to me. Later on.

I have been told I have been to hard on Nintendo. Let me just say....NO WAY! At least I'm not all for Nintendo to the point where I love every thing they put there mark on. Seriesly, you should be hard on every gaming company. Stop protecting them by suporting all there corny games. Buy the worth while ones. I know I'm going to get a bunch of nasty replys to this but I don't care. Listen, It's okay to be hard on Nintendo, I mean you say Miyamoto is in charge but soon he wont be. And because you suport Nintendo so much, they think they can put out crappy Mario games and get away with it. I'm sorry but if you don't be hard on them get ready for Nintendo's 2005 game release "Mario and Pikachu : Super Pals"

Do you guys have any gaming grand parents? My grandpa got me and himself a super nintendo for christmas five years ago, and ever since he has been playing Mario every ten minutes (well, in between the races). His is going to be 73 and for christmas 1999 he got an N64, His fav. game so far is SM64.  So tell me, do you guys have gamming grandparents?


just forgot he has 99* percent on SMW (it has a little star next to the 99. I don't know what he did, musta found a way cool secret or somthing.)

Mario Chat / Paper Mario info

Hey guys, just surfed the net and got some info on Paper Mario. For those of you who are going to buy the game for a new story line, be prepared for a big let down.

In Paper Mario Bowser steals this "Star Stick" (looks like the cepters in SMB3) from up above and then kidnaps princess (not very new huh?). The only thing that ties it to SMRPG (so far) is that the seven stars you got in the first one are in this one as people, they have faces and can talk. So far it doesn't look like it has much of anything to do with SMRPG (not counting the star world or what ever it was from the first one), Mallow and Geno so far have not shown up and the story has nothing to do with the other SMRPG bad guys. Remember the Axem Rangers from SMRPG? Well instead of them there are these Koopa Troopas that look like the Ninja Turtles. The one cool thing in the game (i think) is that there is a Goomba in your party, The first time you can control a Goomba (cool! You can also have a Koopa Troopa in your party). I'll get more info on the game as I find it but untill then the game looks like a mix of Super Mario Bros. and has a drop of SM64, SMRPG, and Yoshi's Story. Looks like another pile of crap nintendo is passing off to fill in the time untill the dolphan, later!

Okay guys here are the real stats from nintendo (did a little surfing after everyone got talking about GBA)

32-Bit ARM with embedded memory (the GBC only had 8-bit!)

240x160 rez (GBC: 160x140 rez)

65,535 colors 511 can show @ same time (GBC: 32,000 colors 56 can show @ same time)

screen is .3 inches bigger than GBC

2 AA batteries, last 20 hours (GBC last only 10)

can play GB and GBC as well as GBA games!!! (all the past games and new ones!)

So you see the GBA is going to be like a hand held SNES (the snes was 32-bit as well)! And I really think your going to see alot of remade SNES games, Chrono Triger Pocket anyone?

And now for the coolest stat of all,

The GBA will be internet capable!!! You can hook it up to the net and play with other people online! Sound cool? And to clear things up, some one was saying that the GBA will be 3D, it's not, who ever told you that aint telling the truth. It also wont have a built in cell phone (another myth). How ever it will have a color game boy video camera (sold sepratly) so you can see the other person you are playing with over the net cool huh? If you want me to prove all this, I have come prepared go to this address to read and weep baby!

Forum Games / Kat, here's a chick game not made for guys

I got thinking after you posted that message "Battle of the gamming sexes", They could very easly do a really cool game starring a girl (not designed for guys if you get what I'm talking about) that would kick so much! I got out trusty #2 (my pencil) and started sketching out a woman and the idea of the game here it is, tell me what you think:

The year is 2097. The earth has had nuclear war for a long time. In that time the human race has almost died out. And with all those chemicals and war expariments three new races have rose from the ashes. The most evil and disgusting are the Aquaticas, An evil humoid fish type being. (and now for the heroin) you play as a person simply known as "Sarah". The Aquaticas murder your parents and kidnap you. They keep you at there kingdom and you end up having a baby (not your choice). Normally any other human would have killed the baby but Sarah is attached to this half human half aquatica. She now has a reason to live and wants a better life for her and her baby. So this 19 year old heads on an amazing adventure to Second Eden, the last remaing natural area of the world. The controls would kind of be like Zelda64. So you head out on this adventure, destroy the aquaticas, become friends with the other two "Races" and make a better life for you and your child in a paradise. And at the very end there is a hirez animation with you sitting feeding your baby, when you hear somthing in the bushes and throw a throwing knife that cuts the vines and who steps out but a human guy! Well there was a whole lot of other stuff that I couldn't remember now (sorry I'm tired) but there was alot of other stuff that was really cool. I'll try and remember everything and if you want I'll scan up the pix of Sarah and the other races. Chow

Mario Chat / If you shouted Yoshi's name in china you would get some strange looks

After getting back from a month in China my brother gave us the Japanese versions of all the pokemon games and a Dragon Ball Z game and alot of other stuff. And we were talking and he was telling my some words in Chinese and the word "Yoshi" is "Game" in china. The Word "Yoshi" in Japan is just A name. Just thought it's a cool thing to know....or not. BTW, Mario's name was....Mario (pronounced a little differently because no one can say Mario down there).

Mario Chat / Super Smash Bors. 2 - THE character list

Okay here is what I think should be as playable characters in SSB2.

Returning favs :

Mario - changes: His fire ball is chargable. his "L" taunt is he motions with his hand twards him self and says "Bing it-a on!". He has a few new moves.

Luigi - changes: You can control his fire ball after throwing it (like the thunder thing by ness). His taunt is he stands side ways puts one hand on his side and points at the enemie with the other and says "Come get some!". A few different moves.

Capt. Falcon - changes: has a fiery double crane kick. Taunt is he makes a muscle and says "I hope you like pain". a few different moves.

Samus - changes: instead of the laser she had in the last game she has the missles, and if you hold down the bottun and let it blink they home the guys. Taunt is she puts her hand on her hips and says "whats the matter? Cant hit a girl?" new moves

NEW CHARACTERS-----------

Boshi - stats: has a time bomb egg. taunt is he sticks out his toung and does the yoshi sound.

Goomba - stats: he will have wings so he can do punching attacks and he can fly, taunt is he makes all those sound effects the goombas do in SM64 one after the other while raising the roof with his wings.

Original donky kong - stats: can pull barrels out of no where and throw them. Taunt is he claps his hands and makes that monkey sound.

Impa (zelda 64) - has the "Impa jab" she jabs her hand into your stomache wich daises you for a few seconds. Taunt is she crosses her arms and says "The Sheik will punish you".

Ash (sorry guys I had put him in there. It's the only way not to have a stupid pokemon in it)- Throws out a pokeball and a random pokemon attacks you (there is no pokeball item in this one). Taunt is he goes into a fighting stance and says " gatta smash em all".

Falco (Star fox 64)- Throws a B bomb. Taunt is makes fists and says "Nothing wrong with my G-diffuser this time!".

Buck bumble - randomly uses one of his big guns. His little cannon works like samus' cannon in the first smash bros. Taunt is he hovers in the sky and says "Float like a butterfly sting like a cybernetic bee".

Bowser (had to have him ;]) - does a shell roll. Taunt is he laughs evily like in SM64.

SECRET CHARACTERS-----------

Link - has the big goran sword and can take out his mirror sheild (in his level it works as a weapon because of the bright sun). Taunt is he does a cool stance and says "For Zelda!"

Toad - can shoot dizzy spores. Taunt is he says he does a little stance and says "Dont touch the spots".

Slippy - ........who cares. Taunt "splish splash I was taking a bath"

Mumbo Jumbo (from banjo-kazooie) - can change the enemie into a pumpkin for 5 seconds. Taunt is he jumps around and says "Mumbo Jumbo aint no Dumbo".

Hammer Bro. - Pulls out a huge hammer (works like the bat ness had). Taunt is he makes a bunch of weird noises.

Bomber man - ????



Well thats that. Tell me what you think. I am also going to post up SSB2 items, stages, and the mini game things

I just wanted to say that the peace sign (or V for Victory as you guys call it) that Mario does is not either of those (peace, or the V). You see in Japan Doing the V/Peace sign is like me and you doing the thumbs up. The "V" means "Cool" or "All right" not "V for Victory" or "Groovy man, peace". Just thought you should know this little known (atleast it looks little know around here) Mario fact.
