Man, I love this. Charles Martinet must have had a field day with this one, it's so funny listening to his over-the-top delivery. I especially like how he pronounces "New Super Mario Bros." And whenever he says "a little bit shy, like a little baby mushroom, aw."
Because I suspected there was some fancy generate-audio going on, I tried typing in two unusual names, but it said it didn't know how to pronounce them. Geez, it doesn't even know how to pronounce "Bowser" or "Yoshi". So let's hope your name and whoever you're sending it to are common names.
Just checked the field for types you can choose from for how you're related to the recipient, and I noticed "Mario" and "Love Bunny". Something about "love bunny" is hilarious to me, but I've never heard of someone being another's Mario. I've heard of being someone's Yoko Ono, but not Mario.

Well... I don't know what to tell ya. Apparently
the automation can't process.... I mean Mario isn't "allowed" to pronounce your name. I do feel sorry though. <:3

I doubt they programmed a whole Martinet voice synthesizer. They probably just had him record a bunch of words.

It worked!
I made a little changes!XD I put my name in English (that is Katherine) and then I wrote to my friend Luigi his second name, that is Mario (I don't know why Mario can say his own name but not that of his brother =( But the fact that my pal has that second name is luck for me!XD ).
Then I sent one also to my mother, always writing her name in English (her name Anna Maria, but I wrote Hanna).
Pretty sad the thing to write my name and those of the others in English- for me, but it works!^^
Can't wait to see their responces after Christmas!=3

It'd be awesome if there was a Mario voice synthesizer. Granted it's hard to improve upon that recent story where the Mortal Kombat announcer recorded lines like "Epic Fail", but it'd still be cool. Someone should make professional software that does that. You'd probably have to record hours of syllables, but imagine the result. Now people will be able to blackmail you by making you say things you never said. "I never said that!" "Are you sure? It sounds like you! A thousand people in this town and you're telling me there are other people who sound exactly like you?"
Or imagine the late Don LaFontaine (or Pablo Francisco who does an uncanny impression) voicing what you do on your computer. "In a world... full of imposing error messages... one man dares to put them in their place once and for all... by clicking the OK button..."
