If you've never seen these ''legendary'' comics, you're in for a treat. This comic actually seems to reveal answers to some of the most closely guarded questions like, where's undeniable proof that there's female yoshies or what is bowser's true intention of capturing princess?

Well, here's your answers.

It seems like whenever we have questions, Japan has the ultimate answers. I'm thinking this because the comic is drawn anime style. Looks way wacky, sure, but those Japanese dared to go against video game fact to deliver some new unexpected stuff.

By assuming everything in the comic is the new facts, this really opens up locked doors and bulldozes through concrete walls for even more doors.

This confirms once and for all that Bowser's true intention of capturing Princess is to marry her.

Our first glimpse of a REAL Mario. Scared me half to death first time I saw it.

This shows what Peach does in her spare time (can you say NES fanatic?)

I think this is the cutest Yoshi pic I've ever found.

You're not seeing things. The first official drawing of an unmistakable female Yoshi. Well, on the cover of a Yoshi language translator, that is.

Excerpt from the Yoshi language translator. Of course, it does Mario and Luigi no good, but you get to see the female Yoshi again.

Undeniable proof that there are Yoshies that look different than just color. Take a look, one of them has a short beard, one of them has a cap, and one of them is a Yoshi Gramps if you look very closely.

This gives a good look at that one blue Yoshi with the beard and ''moustache.'' A father Yoshi, perhaps?

To get actual downloads of the comics (they're in ZIP, around 2MB for each part, contains on average 8 JPG files), go here:

So tell me if you think I finally got something good here. I'm thankful that DentonPro64 uploaded the comics. So tell me what you think of those pics, and if they finally answered some questions. And get this, the Koopa Kids are in the comic as well. Don't believe me? I'll have a pic of that soon as well...

I hate to break it to you, but physically deviant Yoshies really isn't that earth-shattering of a development.  Didn't you see the morbidly obese Yoshi Elder in Paper Mario?  You can't get much more official than in-game characters!

Hey penguinwizard!  You know what I got from those comics?  NOTHING!  Here's the message from Angelfire:

"Angelfire does not allow direct linking
from offsite, non-Angelfire pages,
to files hosted on Angelfire.
This practice of 'remote linking' reduces
our ability to serve out the homepages
of our members quickly and efficiently."

And I say Agelfire SUCKS!

Only someone will remain as the true Nintendo mascot.  That someone is Mario.  Go, Mario, Go!
Agustín, The Sage Of Fungus.

''Nuff Said.

Yeah, I guess I was getting goofy there. But still, the comics are a lot different than the other official stuff, as are the cartoons. Oh, and by the way, I didn't notice any of this ''Angelfire does not allow direct linking'' stuff. Besides, only one of the pics I have here links to an Angelfire image on my site, the rest link to my Tripod site.

Still, to me, anime can stretch the boundaries quite a long ways. As for the ''official'' drawing, keep in mind that Nintendo offered this to NP subscribers way back who knows when. Probably a Nintendo of Japan thing, but it's still a comic made by official people. And this is the first time I've ever seen anyone draw this sort of stuff for the Mario universe, so that's the point I was trying to get across.

billy chilly, ''physically deviant Yoshies'' are somewhat earth-shattering to me considering that we didn't get to see the first Yoshi like that until Paper Mario came out several years after Yoshi's debut in Super Mario World.

Of course, the comics changed that around, and showed to me that those Japanese have at least considered making Yoshies look physically different.

And no, I haven't seen the Yoshi in Paper Mario because I suck at the game. This is why I was asking for photos of it in the first place and never received them!

Well, this may be stretching what you want to call physically different, but there was also Boshi in Super Mario RPG.  If nothing else, he was the first in-game Yoshi to be wearing headgear that I know of.

Oh, you're right, I forgot about that. How could I forget about Boshi? But still, the comics came first. I don't think we'll be seeing any Yoshies like Boshi coming into any more games anytime soon.

And besides, Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario both had strange characters. Note that they're both RPGs, and they have a tendency to go crazy on stuff like enemies.

And sometimes you just want to stick to what works. For example, in Mario All-Stars for the SNES, the developers totally goofed by giving Mario red overalls instead of the regular blue overalls he always wears. So if Mario were to wear red overalls from now on, it wouldn't really be a welcome change. More like a Mario game you wouldn't buy.

But will Luigi's ''plan'' work? We've got to wait until you upload Part 6, Denton!

btw, I LOL at the part in Part 3 where the Yoshi Translator is useless. ''Hello! --> Yoshi! / How are you? --> Yoshi? / Fine, thank you! --> Yoshi.'' ''Wait 'til I get my HANDS on that FRIENDLY FLOYD!!''

And to think, they would have had to pay 3,000 coins for it, but since they were friends of Yoshi (and let's face it, it's easy to be friends with Yoshi), it got cut down to a measly 10.

By the way, I didn't see the part in the comics where it shows Mario's lucky number. What part of the comic is that found?

Hey Denton, tell me if you think I should type up a text file that includes everything said in the comics (descriptions added for what happens in the scenes). It could be part of your site. And I wouldn't break a sweat doing it myself and handing it over to you once it's finished. But for it to be finished, every part of the comics need to be uploaded.
