@WR: Awesome wallpaper, very good song... freaking terrible stepcharts.

Yeah, the stepcharts are awful, though at least I don't have to experience them with a dance mat yet (still trying to get that adapter).

I don't think I've ever seen IS say something had a good stepchart, ever. He's like the grumpy old man of DDR.

I like the stepchart for Dive on DDR Ultramix... 1? on Standard. Easy, yes, but fun. I got all 220 steps one time.

Oh, there's good charts in DDR -- Holic, So Deep, and Max 300 (all Heavy) come immediately to mind for 8-9-10 difficulties. For the most recent mix, I like Xepher Oni (not Heavy) and Max 300 Super-Max-Me mix Oni (DEFINITELY NOT HEAVY).

Oh, I do make simfiles myself. Go to my subforum on this site (note, you will have to register to download the files but that doesn't take long), download a few of those for Stepmania, and if you want to rip them apart go ahead. :P Note that I am an ITG player by nature and my charts are much more ITG like than DDR like.

Also note that I wasn't staff on this site when I joined <_<

I've played several DDR games on PS2 and in arcades, but never played any ITG.  How are they different?

I'm back to using the Earth at night background across both screens.

I recently made this Tippi wallpaper that I really like. It's got some lyrics from an Elton John song that I think fit quite nicely.

Interesting. (You forgot her antennae.)
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Is that the Pikachu background from Pokéchow?
Probably.  I found a downloadable image of the background somewhere, and I couldn't resist its kawaii charm.

Sorry for nitpicking, but wouldn't it have been easier to just say "cute"? It's not like the Japanese equivalent is an entirely different word with a new meaning or anything.
