I stuck with 1st generation. I never really liked any of the pokemon from 2nd or 3rd gen, and I haven't played past Emerald.

Bug = Parasect
Dragon = Dragonite
Electric = Jolteon
Fighting = n/a
Fire = Charizard
Flying = Zapdos
Ghost = Gengar
Grass = Bulbasaur
Ground = Nidoking
Ice = Articuno
Normal = Jigglypuff
Poison = Beedrill
Psychic = Starmie
Rock = Golem
Water = Gyarados
