Haven't seen anything about SM64HD in a while. The physics look spot-on.

Think about modding that... getting the SM64DS characters/content in, importing custom maps or maps from other games... making entirely new playable characters working off of SM64DS' lead, like Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Friendly Floyd, Bowser Jr.... from what I've done in Unity I would guess it wouldn't be difficult to edit Mario's attributes and add unique commands once the foundations are in place (and the new animations are complete), and anything is possible until Nintendo drops the C&D

Actually, that's a different project entirely.

Mario Kart 8 is full-stop gorgeous if you ask me. I want that art team on every Nintendo project. Their take on Hyrule is fantastic, their take on Mute City is spectacular, every other track in the game is breathtaking, I love it.

So much this. That game looks incredible!

Honestly, Mario already looks like a little kid wearing a fake mustache.

This is really crude, but I tried. The gap between Mario's nose and mouth looks unusually long because we're used to seeing a mustache there. That, and my edit kinda sucks.

I always imagined him to be about 30, maybe a little younger or older. I can't imagine someone older than, say, 37, jumping and bouncing around like that.

But gorillas live to be about 40 years old...so logically, Cranky can't be the "original DK", right?

Turns out it was mono, perhaps plus a stomach bug. I was supposed to finally go back to school after missing seven days (would've been ten, because I stayed home two whole weeks, but three of those days were cancelled because of weather), but I was feeling awful this morning to I stayed home today.

I have no idea how I could've gotten mono, though. School water fountains, maybe?
