I know the plural of Chao is Chaos, but is it pronounced "CHOWS" or "KAY-OS" ?

I cannot help you with "chao" for I did, and do not believe it to be a real word. I would assume it to be similar to the word Chaio (sp?).

Chao is pronounced CHOW.  If you listen to an Omachao in SA2 in Japanese, you'll hear it say "chao" at the end of every sentence.
