who cares! Shadow dies at the end anyway! actually there is a lot of theroy that he survied. I think the sonic team did it so if the wanted him back in another game they could always make another excuss. Right now I will play sa2b and see what it says. It says in the game, Amy is in love with him. That is part of her bio in the 2 Player character select screen. And Shadow is still alive. Sega announced A game to be made for GBA with Sonic and Shadow (Sonic Advance 2) I also beat the game, and Shadow falls down as Hyper Shadow, so that could be a good reason for him to still be alive.

Rouge may like Knux, but he definitely don't like her. In the Archie comics of Sonic, Knuckles already had a g/f - a pink echidna named Julie-Su. And she came around long before Sonic Adventure 1! Also, Amy is not 13 years old. She is actually 10. Besides, before Amy appeared, Sonic had a love interest on his TV series.

Well duh Amy and Sonic are the same age, but in the particular situation Johnstar mentioned, Amy thought Shadow was Sonic.
I've played and beaten both versions, and yeah it's in the Dreamcst version.

Okay, here is the truth. Sonic, Knuckles are 17. Tails is 12. Amy WAS 10, but then she wished upon the Master Emerald to be older so she could marry Sonic. Shadow doesn't have an age, and he doesn't like Amy because everybody hates Amy.

I don't know why I'm replying to this. I'm a major sonic fan I guess.
My theory is that sonic adventure takes place several years after the other sonic games. that explains sonic's surprise at seeing eggman. it also explains how amy was a kid in cd and an adult in sa. all the characters are simply older. I think sonic is about 18 and amy is about 15. That wouldmake sonic 15 and amy 12 in the earlier games. As for the comic/cartoon series, Satam is alright but I stopped beleiving ANYTHING archie said, when they killed off the old eggman. I don't know about shadow becaus I don't own sonic adventure 2:<

Amy does mistakenly hug Shadow, confusing him with Sonic. And as of Amy's age, she is prolly as old as Sonic, because I have the issue when Amy wished that she was as old as Sonic to be able to go on the adventure (SA1). ... that green bird was one of the E-series robots....

listen shodow is alive because if you play the final story after sonic and him you chaos control on the space ark shadow falls down to earth still in super form and knukles does like rouge cause if you beat rouge in the space ark you see knuckles save her after she slips and almost falls to her death and in the credits after final story you see knuckles a bit curious about what she`s gonna do when she gets back to earth and as far as ages go in sa1 amy was 8 sonic was 16 and in sa2battle 2 YEARS later amy is 10 sonic is 18 and there is no sa coming just SONIC ADVANCE2 and sa1(tenative title)for gc because if you check the mastergame list at nintendo.com you can see in the "S" section of the gc and gba lists you see at the date of the titles announced!!! and yes IM CRAZY TO HAVE TYPED THIS MUCH ON A MESSAGE BOARD

I'm confused as to why everyone mistakes Sonic and Shadow for each other. Is everyone in the game colourblind or something? And I was kinda wondering why Shadow didn't just break Amy's neck or something when she glomped onto him.... Maybe he doesn't like to hurt girls or something.

I have the first book. It explains how it all started. At first, Sonic is 8 and Robuttnik (as Sonic calls him) is 15. They lived together (not very well, of course) in Uncle Chuck's home. Robotnik (his real name) was only interested in making robots. Eventually, because of Eggman's crazy "inventions", Uncle Chuck kicks him out of the house. About 7 years later, when Sonic was FIFTEEN and Eggman was 22, Robotnik took over Mobius and started making robots with his Ro-Bo Machine (we now call it the Robotizer). Blah, Blah, Blah. Sonic meets Sally, they help Uncle Chuck and Muttski (Sonic's dog), and Sonic brings them back to normal with a power ring when they are in Knothole Village. Okay? That states Sonic's age, but I have no clue to Amy's age, but Rob'o the Hedge or whatever the heck his name is meets Amy Rose sometime, don't know when, but he does meet Amy.
By the way, WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH MARIO?!

In case you are a retard, SEGA MADE THE **** SONIC TEAM! Here is my proof:
1. Sonic is Sega's mascot.
2. Sonic has appeared on every single Sega system that came out.
3. The Sonic Team is a section of Sega that was created to make Sonic Games so Sega can focus on the systems and non-Sonic games (Now just non-Sonic games).
4. The Sega logo appears on all Sonic games, the Sonic Team logo does not.

Apparently, everybody confuses Sonic and Shadow because in Sonic comic Issue 98 Shadow steals some chaos emeralds from a bank, but the bank's camera was a black and white camera. I don't know why Amy confused Shadow and Sonic, maybe she has cataracts.

Aha! Just got this month's issue of the Sonic Comic (112). In the back of the comic, they have data files for Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy. I'm going over the important stuff.
Sonic: Born 162/3220
Knux: Born 251/3220
Tails: Born 297/3225
Amy: Born 186/3226. Also, it has info on Amy that some of you may find amusing...
When the freedom fighters decided to embark on a journey to explore the Hidden City of the Ancients, they once more refused to involve Amy on account of her age. After pointing out the fact Tails was the same age as her and he was going, they responded by acknowledgeing his experience on previous as the pivotal factor Upset by this double-standard, Amy decided to take matters into her own hands and utilized a power ring to speed up the aging rocess whereupon she was now phisically if not mentally a sixteen-year-old teenager.
Reluctantly, the Freedom Fighters allowed her to accompny them on that and other adventures since. As for her inentions of someday marrying Sonic, she has kept those hidden from the others after watching how Mina was treted when she openly flirted with him, believing that some day she'll finally get a chance to win the heart of the greatest hero of them all.
See? Sonic and Knuckles are the same age, Sonic is 5 yrs. older than Tails, and Tails and Amy are mentally the same age, while Amy is phically sixteen. I THINK Sonic is 16, but I really don't know.

Sega is divided into several companies, including Sonic Team and Amusement Vision.
Amy is around 12/13, SONIC TEAM MADE HER THAT way, she DID NOT wish using the Master Emerald or anything. Only in the archie continuity she uses the ring of acorns, which has nothing to do with the Sonic games.
Shadow didn't have enough power to stay in his super form, he states that when you are fighting Finalhazard.
Sonic Advance 2 DOES NOT have Shadow (so far,then).

So theres sonic running at full speed blue blur right behind him he remembers that he left his chili dog at the hot dog stand so he runs back and all he sees is the blur in his face he finds his way out and a poll shows up out of no where and so sonic is left with a long red mark going straight down his face
