Title: Sonic Adventure 2... has the strangest ending!

I just beat both the Hero and Dark modes in Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast [the greatest system ever made!]

I had never expected there to be a final stage in which Dr. Robotnik, Knuckles, Rouge, Sonic, and Tails ALL have to team up to save the world from total destruction...

Why would Dr. Robotnik want to save the world if he is out there to destroy it in the first place?

Bob is right, Eggman didn't want it destroyed, just conqured. And, they were all in the aRK (Or that's what I think) so if he didn't help stop it, he'd die!
