I got MAX everything except rocks and the dragon just fired me to death.

Dragon: You're fired!
Trump: Hey, that's my line! You're fired!

I don't know why I just wrote a The Apprentice fanfic.

I think that MAX rocks increase the power of that... erm, I don't know.

My problem every time I failed was that I kept placing the water tile too early. This severly hampered the development of some other piece I won't say because it may spoil the game. The placement of the rock tile and the other tiles never gave me that much of a problem.

I did max out everything the first time, but the instant my health hit 0 while fighting the purple monster I hit the Reset button, instead of letting the other guy save me.
