Oops, yeah, I meant Kirby's Dreamland, the one for Game Boy that came out in 1992. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Easiest: Kirby Dreamland
Hardest: Hard to say. Most games have their hard parts, bosses in particular, but none of them have been difficult as a whole--with one exception. It was Rocky and Bullwinkle, for the original Game Boy, and I could never beat the game no matter how hard I tried. The game was stupid anyway, and hardly worth remembering. (In fact I'd be shocked if someone here actually played the game.)

Video Game Chat / Re: 15 and over, question

You're not crazy, Super Mario. I think you've hit the nail on the head. Basically if a game isn't violent or otherwise mature in nature then it's obviously 'childish' (or so they claim). And to that I say, 'then let it be childish'. Granted, sometimes a violent game does wonders for stress relief (for that I play Unreal Tournament), but just because a game is non-violent doesn't mean it isn't good. If these naysayers would actually give the Mario games a chance they might be pleasantly surprised.

And no, I've never really had a problem with others calling me weird for playing Nintendo games. Heck, one of my former roommates would play the games with me if they were two player. The only person to give me grief about it was my boyfriend (ironic, isn't it?) but I forgave him. :)

General Chat / Re: How does your life suck?
« on: January 18, 2004, 04:28:16 PM »
I can't say I blame you for feeling a bit down, Markio. I hated the 8th grade with a passion. Hope things start looking up soon. :)

What sucks for me...let's see...

Well, I haven't seen my boyfriend since December of 2002, all four of my best friends are in different states, so I never get to see them, my dad still can't find a decent job, and my mother is mentally unstable.

...but other than that, I really can't complain. I have a good job that pays well and a good relationship with my parents. My boyfriend and I talk on a semi-regular basis (when one of us isn't busy) and my buds and I keep tabs on each other through weblogs.

I guess it's a point of focusing on the good instead of dwelling on the bad. Not a particularly easy thing to do, I admit, but sometimes it's the only way to keep sane.

No one's gonna believe this but...
Dragonzamasu, the second boss from Super Mario Land. I've always thought that he (she/it) looked cool.
I know. Weird. :P

...just kidding. :)
Nah, I didn't expect anyone to remember me anyway. Not like I was around all that much in the first place. I'm just surprised to know how many people (aside from the staff, of course) are still around after three-odd years.

I'm 19317. Don't remember exactly when I joined, due to my long absence. I think it was either very late 2000 or very early 2001.

Mine was also Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I was eight years old at the time and was visiting relatives in New Jersey. My uncle had just bought the NES brand new a month or so before. I think I made it to World 1-3 once in the entire 3 hours I played it that afternoon.

« on: February 15, 2002, 12:21:12 AM »
Heck yeah! I love StarCraft! (I'm not terribly good at it, not quite good enough to try out battle.net quite yet...) And the movie Lord of the Rings was absolutely incredible, though I've never read the books.
