Mario Chat / Re: Mario Universe Voice Acting Mysteries, Etc.

In SM64, it sounds like Mario says "Popsicle" when he chose which star you're going for.

People say they've heard "Lets-a-go" but I can only speak for what my ears hear, and they heard "popsicle."

Pepsi-co!!

Not really all that tough though. Rawk Hawk is pathetic. Luigi could probably best him with a bit of effort. Wario would wipe the floor with him.

Rawk Hawk sat at the top of a tier of fighters, and the fight against him was nothing to sneeze at either. So no he wasn't.

3
He did have a small crowning moment in Paper Mario 2 when he defeated Rawk Hawk effortlessly near the end.

Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Galaxy are probably his highest shining moments.

In Super Mario Bros., not only has he managed to lay siege to the entire kingdom, but anyone that stands in his way... is silenced. Turned into a block. Or a tree. His main motivation for capturing Peach this first time is simply because he can't let her or her retainers (hi guys!!) undo his work. However, it could be said that Bowser developed feelings for her during this time. ;)  Also, his castle...      his castle? World 8 in general appears to be a simple mountain area, with World 8-3 at the top. Even in All-Stars, it just looks like a huge castle in the background that he took over and pasted his picture all over.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is arguably his greatest work. Introducing several large aircraft (and a few lines of ground and naval forces) and his children into the mix, Bowser seemed to be quite genius in this installment, expanding on his transformation plans from the first game and applying them to the kings of the whole Mushroom World. Plus, his castle was cooler, and actually looked like it belonged to him. Giant Bowser head outside, front yard of doom, etc.

Super Mario Galaxy: bringing back the airships, Bowser actually manages to do some serious harm in the end (it got better), and plus... he's going for a whole galaxy this time!

hmmm...

Hey, I remember that Bomberman: world trade center thing. In Player's Pulse, each issue listed its own top ten. This one was definetely after 95, and I'm pretty sure there was a Mario crime game in there too.

I miss my Yoshi...    wonderful starlit nights in the fields, making sweet love to my green dinosaur friend...        aaaaaaahhhh <3

Then one day on Isle Delfino, we were lovemaking riding along the coast and he fell over. I tried to save him, but he dissolved on contact with the water.

Remember that "Digging" works best if you are little Mario. if you try to go far as any other kind, you can only pick up blocks close to your lower torso, and you'll create this sort of downward slanted wall.  (  ______\    like that)

You can launch off several blocks in just a second or two. There is an eventual limit, but you only really run into it in stages with water at the bottom (which slows the blocks down when they land in it.) Otherwise, go crazy with this. Blow your enemies away!

Okay, if this got posted here, it was probably a long time ago so I'm gonna put it up now for the new folks at the least. You all know about the Game Genie code for SMB3 that lets you select worlds, powerups, and tons of items right?

    Well this isn't that code.

Remember the blue blocks that you can grab and then kick at enemies/blocks/etc? This code allows you to pull those blocks OUT OF ANYTHING. This is EXTREMELY FUN because:

1: These blocks have all the kick of a hammer, but are much easier to use.

2: A cheap and easy way to bust blocks sitting on the ground

3: Boomboom (recurring fortress boss) explodes on contact with the blocks (he goes Boom Boom   hahahahahah I should take that show on the road.I'll be here all night. Tip your waitresses...   naw but seriously it looks like you just fired a rocket at him) and best of all, you can do this to him before the fight even starts. As soon as you trigger it, the orb will fall down, but it'll be upside down. Just take it as usual to complete the fort/unlock giant doors on the map

4: Do this in front of solid obstacles to turn them into blocks. If you are small Mario, you'll be able to dig entire tunnels in the fortress stages, often taking shortcuts to Boomboom (who you can then make go Boomboom ahahahaha). This also makes the fortress in World 8 MUCH MUCH easier. You can also explore outside the first fortress in World 2 if you start "digging" to the left after the pipe to the second floor. Don't fall off though.

5: You can kill Bowser with them. (probably could do that with a hammer suit too but hey)

   So, here's the code:

AOSUZSSI  (source: GScentral)

some roms may have map issues. otherwise if you do this on a real NES there should be no such issues.

On a related note, there was a Tshirt awhile back that said "Know your shrooms", and proceeded to list all of the mushrooms in the Mario series. However, there was one red and yellow shroom labeled "Reverse"   ...?

Yep, that's the stage, though it's also available in daytime, not-red color.

Okay Okay Okay this one isn't really fake but you guys are gonna love it anyway!!! and NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT IT BUT ME!!!

HOW TO FIND THE TRIFORCE IN OCARINA OF TIME (FOR REAL)

Play through the game until the great deku tree dies. It is very important at this point that you get the kokiri emerald. Without it, you cannot get the triforce.

Once you get it, continue on, and be certain that you get the goron ruby when the opportunity arises. Same with the Zora Sapphire

...now it is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE that you get the Ocarina of Time before you go to the temple of time. Take it with you, and you can open the door in the back, revealing... (OMG!!) THE MASTER SWORD!!!!   Pull it out of the ground, and several awesome things will happen!

    1: You'll age seven years and be a grown-up!!!
2: You'll get tons of new dungeons to explore
3: YOU'LL HAVE THE TRIFORCE OF COURAGE!!!!!

Now, near the end of the game, talk to Zelda and she'll reveal she has the Triforce of Wisdom. Later, when you fight Ganon, HE'LL HAVE THE TRIFORCE OF POWER!!!!

AND THAT'S WHERE IT ALL IS!!!!   WITH THEM!!!!
