Here are some ideas I came up with for the Nintendo ‘Revolution’ controller

Potential uses:
            • Note: The ‘Revolution’ controller can detect 3D movement and point to objects on a TV screen.

1. Camera control
2. Baseball bat
3. Tennis racket
4. Conductor’s baton
5. Flashlight
6. Sword
7. Steer vehicle
8. Paintbrush
9. Jump
10. Drill
11. Aim gun
12. Point-and-click (i.e. RTS game)
13. Chop up food

Nintendo ‘Revolution’ facts:
• The ‘Revolution’ can connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for online gaming.
• The ‘Revolution’ can play all GameCube games.
• The ‘Revolution’ can download classic NES, Super NES, and Nintendo 64 titles through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
• The ‘Revolution’ is small and compact, approximately the size of three DVD cases stacked together.

With all of the Xbox 360 news and hype going on right now, when do you think Nintendo will release more information on the Revolution?

I am so excited, Nintendo is planning something huge with the Revolution. I am anxious to see Nintendo's plans with making videogames more accessible to wider audiences. Videogames will finally be fun again!

By the way, what do you guys think about the Xbox 360? Do you think it will do as well as Microsoft is stating? I like the Xbox 360. It has the best online gaming service (until Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection comes out), and it doesn't focus too much on advanced technology like the PS3 does.

I think Microsoft and Nintendo are going to rule this generation!

The PS3 security feature was a rumor. I went to Google and saw a bunch of web sites stating that it was only a rumor.

I agree that Nintnedo is trying something different and new, but they are taking a huge risk. If the Revolution fails, then the only thing that Nintendo will have left is the DS and Game Boy.

The new Looney Tunes you are talking about are called "Loonatics Unleashed". They are super heroes ([WTD]?) and the entire series is set in the future. I hoped WB would bring back the Looney Tunes, but I didn't want a [stupid] version of the cartoon.

Microsoft announced that they are NOT making a handheld system (this is TRUE), but they will make the Xbox 2 into a Media Center console (this is TRUE).

I have had many dreams that I played Super Mario 64 DS (which I did finally play!)

Super Mario 64 DS is so cool, I must get a Nintendo DS! I'm not wasting $250 on a "PSP Value Pack"... it's too expensive.

Yes I know that. Bungie is owned by Microsoft. Microsoft should encourage their companies to make games that are actually innovative and fun. Instead they make crap like Brute Force and Voodoo Vince.

Where is all the innovation in the gaming industry? It's with Nintendo and Sony!

I was hoping all of you people would agree with me and say "Halo/Xbox sucks", because Microsoft is hyping the series way too much. Why can't Microsoft make other games that are good quality like Halo?

The only other Microsoft game I like for Xbox is Blinx, which was very innovative (using the time control feature). Hopefully Blinx 2 will be much more innovative.
