Sure, for real this time. What times should I be expecting? Mon/Weds and weekends I can't get on til way late or the early day. Other days are open all day.

And we all had times of no-show.

Donut Games gives one of their games for free on Mondays. They're decent little puzzle-like games. Good to waste a few minutes. Spikeys bounce and their breakout knockoff are very good.

Sorry, no, I messed up.  I worked later than I thought I would tonight.  I tried getting on here to let you know earlier, but the wi-fi was less than stellar.  Tomorrow, however, will work, already checked with him, and I don't work, so, yea.

General Chat / Re: Things you dislike about yourself
« on: November 27, 2011, 04:29:54 PM »
Hmm, curious...What do I dislike?

I fall down/hit my head a lot.
Very little of the exercising I do leads to visible change.  I'm not looking for a six-pack, but a little more definition would be nice.
When I'm anxious, I yawn, which makes it look like I'm not interested, when usually I'm just so nervous I don't want to mess up whatever it is I'm doing.  Try working your courting mojo when you can't help but yawn at everything the person says.  See how well that works for you.
I get discouraged when I can't do something the first few times.  This mostly applies to cooking, I hate not getting good results, even if I'm following a recipe to the very word.  It sometimes is the same with games, but I've learned that I'm pretty bad at most all the games I play, so it's not as much of an issue.

That's about it, aside from common things like procrastination (Which I'm better with now, but still pops up on occasion), or stuff that is a result of the other things.

A local paper wrote a piece on Defenders of the Gene, the Kickstarter, and it taking place in Syracuse. This leads to the article, and I grabbed a couple hard copies before work today.

It's really exciting, and even if it doesn't get the Kickstarter funded, it's a nice start.

You guys didn't know about Magna Save? Well, you didn't miss much. Just as often as it saves the ball it gets stuck on the flipper and you lose the ball anyway.

And I do not enjoy the Marvel set.

How about the old Tetris? GB Camera Juggle? Doom?

On paranormal, you launch the ball really light, and it drops to the upper right flipper, where you hit it up the Nessie ramp, and then there you hit it to the spinner.  500,000 for skill shot, 1,000,000 for double, 2,000,000 for Super Skill shot.

Everyone can relax.  It's a condiment.

Edit: And in non-sarcastic, dumbfounded part of this conversation, This was interesting.

Edit 2: I see that Luigison actually has a line from the second link in his second post.  But there is more there.  Sorry, didn't put the post and the article together in my mind.

Edit 3: I am a little disappointed that I could not read the sources for the Scientific American articles because I have to pay for the full articles.

If he would use a website that doesn't make my eyes explode violently from my face, that would be just dandy.

Okay, so I bet a fair amount of people are busy with Skydragon killers, or Merry Marvel Marching Society fighting, but I was a-wondering...

My buddy finally got his 360, or rather a new 360 since the deserts of Afghanistan iare murder to a device already prone to heating issues, and I played through the campaign with him.  It was fun.  Lambent 'Zerker was the only part that was not fun, the rest was great, even when it took a number of attempts.  And when we finished, we decided we wanted to go through on Insane, and I told him I knew some guys who we might be able to get to play through 4-player.  You are those guys.  If you're interested, I'll try and get him on here to get a schedule set up.  And at least I know most the guys here are better at games than either of us, carry our sad sacks through it.

And I don't know if you guys have tried it, but Azura multiplayer map is gorgeous.

Well, there's a difference between calling something what it is (burritos are a specific thing), and using identifiers from a different language for no reason.  With American English as my first language, I am not going to use seƱor or mademoiselle before someone's name.

The White Mushroom House / Re: For Sale: DS Lite and GBA SP with games

It got here just now.  Everything looks to be in fantastic condition.  The GBA game boxes look like they're in better condition than some of my games.  Very cool, thanks again.

There was a game for sale a while back on XBLA, a cheap indie game called Globe Clicker. I wonder if it's still available. Basically you're given a city and have to try and pick as close as you can to where it is. We could go for longest number of rounds in World mode.
