« on: February 24, 2008, 08:42:53 AM »
A little more obvious then last week...which Mario game had the best Powerups (Items also count)? These range from Able Juice all the way to Zoom Shoes. Just remember your not voting on the actual item(s).

Votes:

Mario and Luigi: Partners in time (1)

(Due to the attacks in the game were almost entirely based on items)

Winners:
WEEK 1(Attacks): Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
WEEK 2(Final Boss Battle): Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
WEEK 3(Music): Super Mario Galaxy
WEEK 4(Underwater Levels): Super Mario World

Super Mario bros. 3 was all about the power ups... and it was awesome!

Have to go with SMB3.
That was a joke.

Super Mario Bros. 3, just because of the fact that there were so many different power-ups that allowed the player to take out Thwomps.

I knew everyone was going to say SMB3, and, although I never got very far in the game, I have to agree.
Super
Fire
Starman
Raccoon
Tanooki
Frog
Hammer Bro.
Kuribo's Shoe

I may have missed a couple, but I think SMB3 had the most powerups.

SMB3 had the most/best powerups

BUT

Super Mario Galaxy is a close second; I've been imagining an Ice Flower powerup for years! And the Spring Suit is cool (even if it is hard to control)

Don't forget the Wario Land series. Those games had some of the oddest powerups ever found! Zombie Wario? Squished Wario? Pants-on-Fire Wario?
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

For me, it's a tie between Galaxy and SMB3. (the Raccoon Suit, Bee Suit, and Boo Suit are AWESOME)
Bowser and Bowser Jr: best villains EVER.

Wario Land 4. I just love the way the power-ups were used in the game, and they deviated from the typical Mario power-up.
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.

SMB3... I'm happy the majority's finally with me on one of these.
Today's actually... nobody's birthday!  Quick, hurry up and make a baby!

Wario Land 3. Simply the most powers you could use in a Mario type game. I think their was about 25 or so of them.
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.
