Care to show me which notes are wrong?  To be clear, I said deviations in his arrangements were creative license, not that he had wrong notes in his arrangements.

The clock has been upgraded with a countdown measured in seconds, which at this present moment, adds up to about 81 days.

Meanwhile, the American site still has no counter.
That was a joke.

Aw man, looks like it's gonna be a quick and dirty port of the SNES. No improved visuals, no redone music, nothin. Oh well. I might pick it up simply because I never played all the way through the original.

If it's a simple port like that, might they fail at porting Lavos's scream?

If it's going to be on the DS, I'd rather have the original graphics. They were some of the best 2D graphics ever, and it would take a more powerful console than the DS to do similarly great 3D graphics. I just hope this means it won't be $40 now. (Wait, what am I saying? This is freakin' Square. Of course it'll be $40.)

So, you don't think Final Fantasy III and IV (DS) had very good graphics? (I could agree either way, but I'm interested in your experience with them)

The PSX version was a simple port, and they failed at porting Lavos's scream then.

I hope they don't fail again..

Well, TOSE's SNES->PSX ports all have bad sound reproduction. If Square is porting this themselves (doubtful; probably TOSE again), it might work better. Or the DS might just be easier to have correct sound on. I like what I've heard so far.
That was a joke.

The PSX version had much worse problems than sound reproduction.  Like ridiculous battle load times.

Boy, I sure wish I had a DS by now...  I've never played the original, but I understand the music is amazing.  I have songs from both CT and CC on my comp.
