Hey, people!
Ahh, I remember it... sitting in the Wal-Mart layaway section... eagerly anticipating my GC... and wondering WHY they made us all watch "The Grinch"... Hmm... well... I reserved my GameCube 1 year ago. I'll probably post when I actually got it out of layaway too...

My experience was extremely normal, except for the 20 minutes or so spent waiting in line at Toys "R" Us.

Heh... you know what was funny when I got mine? There was a limit (of course) of one GC to each customer... but you could buy as many games as you wanted... so there was this one guy who spent $1,500... and these other eight guys who like worked with him were trying to get nine GameCubes total, for their boss, they said. Other than that, it was pretty mundane. Weird.
