Oh yeah, I heard about that. Personally, I don't see myself seeing any movies made by them unless they were based on their games.

I agree with Meowrik, but mostly if it was based on Mario games (I'm not that big a fan of Zelda).

Nintendo didn't make that, I think. 4Kids Productions did. One of the worst movies ever.

I would definitely go see a Nintendo movie, whether it were videogame-based or not.

4Kids Productions did not make the Pokémon movie. That's a common misconception. 4Kids provides the DUB of the movie, which is far different than making it.

As for Nintendo movies, if done in the correct fashion, I could get excited. However, I don't even know what the correct fashion may be.

I think the only game that is movie material would be Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. But then again, since it already has such a good storyline, it'd be hard to make it better, ultimately resulting in them probably making Wind Waker look bad.

...whatever happened to that company who claimed the rights for making a movie based on Metroid Prime?

Yes, Vid, a Zelda movie would be cool. It'd have to have a good storyline, like the OoT one. And a lot of action.
