This is all very fascinating, but the concept of this scavenger hunt is outrageous. In fact, I'm surprised nobody has gone mad trying to figure out the subtle clues in these pictures. But then, this thing is completely mad, isn't it? I prefer to let time reveal secrets that will be revealed eventually, without making people obsessive or insane. There you have it, my unasked for opinion. Perhaps I'm in over my head...

Hmm. I wonder why so many people make the URL so small... I mean, if someone wanted go directly to TMK without having to go to the affiliate first, they would want to use the URL! In other words, the URL should be legible, don't you think?

Mario Chat / Large* Reference in "Teen Girl Squad Issue 10"

*Ok, you don't hear or see Mario or Luigi.

But there's 3 references to the Mario universe nonetheless.

See for yourself!

Latest News / DS Theatrical Commercial
« on: August 09, 2005, 01:18:27 PM »
Now, this news is fairly stale, but for those who haven't seen it, a Nintendo article has announced a commercial to appear in theaters for the Nintendo DS, which has a surprising "twist" that I'm not going to spoil.

 I can't say I'm too happy.

To give you a summary, IGN's popular GameSpy Technology will give the foundation of online DS gaming. Unfortunately, you'll need to find either a Wi-Fi hotspot or a home Wi-Fi connection (with broadband).

Games like Animal Crossing DS (confirmed), and possibly Mario Kart DS (rumored) will be able to use this internet connection.

Fan Creations / The Astute Two: Story by Suffix (HTML)
« on: March 12, 2005, 05:32:10 PM »
Hey, there! Here's something to demonstrate that fan fiction isn't the only thing that can strike interest. Today, I'd like to introduce my fantastic fiction story, written at the end of this last summer. I've refined it, tweaked it, and even made cover art for it!
<P>
Go ahead and look at the first installment!<BR>
EDIT: Due to the new host, there will be some small advertisements at the top of the page. Please ignore them.
EDIT 7/07: Due to a demand, I have put the relic of 10th grade back online.

General Chat / BASIC fun! No charge!
« on: March 04, 2005, 06:59:14 PM »
After about four years of gathering dust, I'd like to introduce my lovely BASIC programs, written in GWBasic. Before I go on, I would like to thank Sapphira and her unending generousity, for hosting the files <font color="green">on MEGA?TE's server</font>, and TEM, for showing that good directions is critical. <BR>So, supposing you have the need to amuse yourself a bit, or even try a hand at real programming, go ahead and try them out! Directions below.<P><FONT SIZE="4">

<B>1)</B> Download <U>GWBasic.exe</U> (make a note of where you put it).<BR>
<B>2)</B> Download <I>Fill In: TMK Edition</I> into the same folder that GWBasic went into.<BR>
<B>3)</B> Download <I>The Guessing Game</I> if you feel like it.<BR>
<B>4)</B> There are two methods to run the programs, under the extension [.bas]. One way, the easy way, is to drag whichever program you want into the compiler, which will promptly open up a new window. The other way is to run GWBasic and then press F3. After pressing F3, type in the file name with the exception of [.bas], the extension.<BR>
<B>5)</B>If you used the slow way (typing into the load prompt) you will need to press F2 to run the program. Of course, if you exit, and want to re-enter, you'll need to use F2, the RUN key.<BR>
<B>6)>>>IMPORTANT! Don't fret when closing the window and it complains that it can't exit directly. Just proceed to press the End Task button. On another note, if you suddenly acquire the knowledge of SCREEN 2 (full screen), and you find yourself stuck in full screen, you can exit by pressing your Windows key (between Ctrl and Alt), right clicking on the tab in the task bar, and clicking "Close."<BR>
<B>7)</B> If you don't like the way the window looks, you can configure it by clicking on the active title bar and choosing "Properties." From there, go to the Font tab and mess around with it.<BR>
<B>8)</B> Well, that's the directions.<BR>
 ...<BR>
...Why are you still reading this part? Oh! I see, you're a pictorial learner, huh? Learn how to run stuff in these simple screens: Instuctions for Running and Properties<P></FONT SIZE><BR><P>

Whew! There's my directions. Were they good enough, TEM? Heheh... So, yeah, my knowledge of BASIC programming is limited, and very much so, as you'll find out in <I>Fill In The Blank</I>'s hidden tutorial. Here's the links, again, with thanks to Sapphira:<P>

Site Discussion / mIRC Diagnose, Please?
« on: December 22, 2004, 06:10:04 PM »
I'd love to try out the chat room, but mIRC just can't seem to connect. While connecting to studio64.yi.org, it abruptly informs me of [10107] Unknown Error. Well, that's real specific. Ever determined, I tryed the Java route. What I got was the page shown below. Also included there is a screen from mIRC.

There you have it. I would really appreciate any help!

This particular thread got served. And the name was changed when I refined the short story. This concludes our public service announcement.

I hope I won't have to... Actually, I'm quite sure I won't have to, because I have to buy the USB dongle.
