No Smash for me! I know many here won't miss Subspace, but without it I won't be getting the next iteration. I would have loved to see these new characters in a story mode, but since I'm not a fighting game fan and story mode has been eliminated... ANGST

I don't really care as much about it. The cutscenes were amusing, but beyond seeing them in Brawl, I don't find it necessary. Plus, I don't think anyone knows what they'll have in place of the features they're taking out; it's not like they can be lazy with it after Brawl and Melee.

Although I understand your angst is for other reasons.

Sakurai is excluding story mode because it got spoilt on the internet? I realise that's most likely not the only reason but geez that's [dukar]ty reasoning.

I'm seeing an unfortunate tendency for Nintendo to blame the internet for pretty much everything. First the YouTube LP thing, now this. Great way to **** off pretty much everyone.

I don't know how much plainer it could be that Brawl's time effort and money was all plunked into SSE. I am elated SSB4 won't have a successor to it.
