No, of course not.  But we can still enjoy it.

I have recovered the original photo (deleted by Photobucket) of the aforementioned E3 swag.

Awesome.

The person responsible for “Lanky's Trombone Tremor” in the lineup has been moved to Santa's noice list. 🎁

Earth has water in order to support life.

The Mushroom Kingdom has bottomless pits in order to support fun.

Hey, you are a good researcher!  Thanks!

Is this the sultan you were talking about?  He might be the same voice actor.  It's tough to tell... In any case, I feel almost certain there was a character in one of the Mario cartoons that sounds exactly like the Kamek in the movie trailer.

It's going to bug me, too.  Sorry if it also bugs you now, hehe.

They are more like walnuts than mushrooms anyway.

Maybe!  That certainly sounds familiar; I just wish I had my DVDs to confirm... He may have done multiple roles, also.

I would bet a cinnamon roll that it is the same person.

I recognize Kamek's voice from Super Mario Bros. Super Show.  I can't quite put my finger on an exact character, though.

Is anyone else disappointed that Charles Martinet didn't get the lead role?  At least his name is in the credits there...

Can you remind me the context of that epic stylus?
It was a contest of sorts, possibly involving Mario Kart time trials.  In any case, the stylus itself has a triumphant Mario aboard his kart.  I think it may have been E3 swag.

Aaaand I found it.  Man, that was fun.  Thank you.

Back when I would cruise the forums, Lizard Dude would Rick-roll people, and it was funny as heck.  Also, I had no idea about Advice Dog making history before my very eyes.  That was just another fun thread in a sea of many.

I've changed a lot since then, such that I probably won't be accepted here now.
Well?  Bring it on!  I definitely remember you, by the way--but until I saw Luigison's avatar, I had you filed incorrectly.

... So nobody change your avatar!  Also, my avatar is pretty sweet, if I do say so myself.  By the way, Luigison, I still have that epic stylus.  Regular toothpick styli don't even compare.

Setting aside the goods that Lizard Dude has brought to the table, this is an excellent question, and I dig the philosophical implications of its answer.

Ask somebody to write their name in the air using a finger.  There are generally two types of responses:  They either write oriented towards themselves, so that they can read it--or they write oriented towards the viewer.  Some people claim that the latter response indicates a more considerate personality.  I don't buy that, though, because I have known a few really inconsiderate people who readily pass petty tests like these.

On the other hand, if someone uses another person's finger to write, they are probably a psychopath.

I will forever remain torn concerning the world names.  On the one hand, the earlier version's are pretty creative.  On the other hand, suffixing them all with "land" really ties up the game with a nice, Mario ribbon.  The main site has a nice write-up, of course.

Well, I can't say I'm disappointed, as the dream is still clearly alive--unless some of you are holding back secrets.

I think a marriage pact of sorts is long overdue.  If no staff members are married five years from now, we start drawing lots.  I'll even bake the cake from SM64's ending screen.
