Hello! I've been looking for an active Mario forum to be a part of. If you've been to MarioBoards between 2013-2015 you may know me from there. But alas, I was banned after that. So I really would like to find a new Mario forum home. Maybe this place is it~

I'm a huge Mario nerd, particularly for the RPGs. My favorites are Super Paper Mario, M&L Superstar Saga, Bowser's Inside Story, The Thousand-Year Door and Dream Team. In that order. I also like the rest of them, except Sticker Star... and I find Paper Jam mediocre. My favorite Mario characters are Fawful, Dimentio, Count Bleck, Antasma, Cackletta, and many other RPG-exclusive characters. I wish they weren't mostly one-hit wonders.

Also I have my own somewhat active-ish Mario forum dedicated to the RPGs... but I won't link it because I'm not sure if I'd be banned for advertising.

So this game takes place on Prism Island, confirmed to be separate from the Mushroom Kingdom. Let's look at all the other times Mario has left the Mushroom Kingdom:

-Sunshine: Piantas, Nokis, etc
-Superstar Saga: Beanish, Hoohoo people, etc
-TTYD: So many different species I can't make a full list. Also the original PM even though it WAS Mushroom Kingdom, did this too.
-SPM: Again a variety of different species, most of them are designed around geometry and shapes.
-Galaxy/Galaxy 2: Lumas, Star Bunnies, Gearmos, Whittles, etc
-Dream Team: Pi'illos, Shelltops, Brocks, etc
-3D World: Sprixies

-Color Splash: .....Toads


yeeeaaaah anyone else think the "Sticker Star Effect" is causing them to ignore even the most obvious traditions even the main series has been following?

I have a YouTube channel. It was originally made when I was young and immature, but I've privated most of the cringeworthy videos from back then. Hell, my username from there stuck, but I bet you can tell I was a huge Fawful fanboy then. I still am... kind of. Not enough that he and Cackletta are the center of focus for every [darn] video though. Now I do Let's Plays (I started Bowser's Inside Story but haven't uploaded in over a week or so. I'm so inconsistent with my LPs) and talk about Mario games (recent videos of that nature have been about Paper Jam and Color Splash. The former of which I find mediocre but there's a rabid defender of that game that keeps posting hate comments on anyone who dares say it's not good, then sharing said comments with me... have no idea why he'd want me to see them since all I do is call him out for attacking people.

My most recent videos have been centered around doing things in Super Paper Mario that you normally can't do without hacking. Like exploring Mario's House or fighting the final boss at level 3. I have a video recorded of triggering the Count Bleck "4 Heroes Unite" cutscene in the first room of 1-1, though that isn't uploaded yet.
