I tried my luck with the mailbag (3/15/02) but Deezer got stupid on me and wouldn't answer. So, I'll ask again:

How do you get out of the pit on Young Link's Target Test on SSBM?

Young link is one of the characters that can wall jump.  Get a good angle, then press away from the wall and jump (I think) the moment you hit it.

That's right,but you don't have to jump,just tap the control stick in the oposite direction whaen you hit the wall.
