Like the one thread on NeoGAF where people got caught up on a lousy Raving Rabbids commercial and started photoshopping the goth and goof kids in various ways. But for this forum, I tend to think TOTY candidates include the Pointless Thread, Ouch!, You Laugh You Lose (for creating a bunch of imitators), Why don't any of you people have A Boy and His Blob, that one thread where two new Pokemon were going to be revealed and it was leaked a few days before it was meant to, and... uh, that's all I can think of.

Now that I think about it, maybe there should be a separate category for threads that spawn other parodies/variations, as opposed to just being good threads in and of themselves.
