General Chat / Re: Ponies!
« on: September 20, 2012, 06:10:38 PM »
Not sure if I'm a brony or not.  Just because I've watched every episode of the show, want my friends to watch it, watched some episode commentaries, like the fan music, am waiting impatiently for season 3, took a picture with a young woman with a MLP backpack, donated to the bronycon documentary to see my name in the credits, and wore a brony bracelet when out of state doesn't necessarily mean... oh who am I kidding?  What's happened to me?! *fake cries* lol

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if I need to label myself something for liking a good show.  I guess I can understand since it's still weird to many people who first hear about it and giving yourself a name kind of makes you feel like you're part of a group.  (And it's too bad every fandom has to have "those people" you don't want to talk about)  But I like trying new things and this was something that I ended up liking after adjusting to the girlyness and added to my list of other interests like Mario. :) I'm also trying to get into Adventure Time but it's just too darn weird for my tastes, sorry.  My favorite cartoons are those that are funny, random, and witty and aren't dumbed down.  What really made me smile was when I learned that the voice actress for Twilight was also the same for Timmy Turner of the Fairly Odd Parents, my second favorite cartoon. (I watched an episode today and laughed through all of it)

Finally, I also have mild autism but don't think that plays a part in my liking it.  I enjoy many kinds of shows, animated or rea life (though I don't really watch much TV), and don't feel like less of a man because I don't like shows with a lot of violence.  Final final note... I hope Vinyl Scratch gets her own episode in season 3!  Not likely but let me dream.

General Chat / Re: Wreck-It Ralph - Official Trailer #1 -

The Chef has cooked up some very good points about this movie (and I wish I could articulate thoughts as well as he does), but to be honest I'm still eager to see this.  I guess I'm the kind of person who's pretty easy to please and I'm just thankful for this kind of movie that throws in a bunch of classic video game characters, even if their screen time is short but hopefully not.  I heard Sonic has a speaking part and that alone is enough to get me excited.  What I'd love to see is a powerful antagonist that all of the characters have to fight against before Ralph returns to his game/ starts a new game/ takes over someone else's game/ destroys the game-iverse lol.

Thanks, Kimimaru!  See you all again in another 5 years!
lol I have to agree with Suffix and Markio that reflecting on how I sometimes acted on the Fungi Forums in the past is a little embarrassing, but I'm glad that I had a place to hang out where people didn't insult me when I said dumb things.  It's nice to have a positive, E-rated website where everyone can have fun without the other disrespectful junk you see across the internet.  I can't forget the memories of looking for the secret page, counting down till the DS and Wii, Deezer the snowman, Lizard Dude faking his death on April fool's, Chupperson's "blow'd up" song, reading fan fiction and mailbags, "What does your voice sound like?"... *goes on for five minutes longer* Now I'd like to make my own let's plays and my first unfinished one is SMB Lost Levels.  It's a pain to edit the way I did it but it's funny at times so I want to finish it.
On another note, I've also become a big fan of something new.  I won't say what it is but I will say it's something that Turtlekid1 probably likes too.  Yaaaaaaaaaay. :)
(Wow... I'm also a little jealous of Suffix's skills)

Wanna know what's scary?  When someone who's been gone for about five years returns to haunt your thread! *makes ghostly sounds*
Hey everyone.  I just thought I'd drop in again and say hi to let everyone and let you know I'm still alive.  I know, I have a strange habit of coming back every few years just to greet everyone, and I'm still trying to figure out why I do that.  I guess it's just crazy to know that my name is still beside this thread after all this time and it might be for awhile.  And I have fond memories of this place.  Anyway, welcome everyone to my website! lol

Mario Chat / Re: Message to Mario fanatics: Hor-riff-ic Idea

Hey Mr. Wiggles!  Good to see you too.  I actually stopped by a few months ago just to say hi.  You'll probably see me again in two years when I have yet another idea that has already been done, or no one wants to do lol.  Thanks for the heart, I was low on life. (continuing the zelda jokes)

Yeah, maybe the poor thing has been shot enough times.  I just want one good riff from some true fans and that's it.  Then it can be left alone.  I saw a couple already done but I think we could do good enough to be featured!

Oh... well nevermind then.  So much for that! lol Sorry.  Maybe some other people would be interested. (I'm just not funny enough to try and I would have trouble finding others to help)

Mario Chat / Opportunity for Mario fanatics: Hor-riff-ic Idea
« on: September 11, 2009, 10:25:10 AM »
Hey everyone!  What's new folks?  I hope it doesn't get annoying that I keep popping back here sporadically like those awful magikoopas from SMW. (Those were worse than lakitus!)  If you don't know who I am... then be thankful because I was weirder than I am now. XD Anyway... I haven't been playing video games for a long time in order to work on my future plans.  The last video games I played were the classic Zelda games on the Collector's Edition and finished all of the games except Zelda II.  I had never played these games before and I thought that LoZ, Ocarina, and Majora's Mask were incredible and fun to the max. (I even liked Zelda II but it's really tough!)

Okay, I should get to my point now.  I had an idea I wanted to share and just couldn't keep it to myself.  I was going to send it in a message to the mailbag but when I noticed the lengthy time gap between each one I thought "I don't have the patience to wait that long!"  Hopefully this hasn't already been mentioned and hopefully I don't sound like I'm advertising because that's never my goal.

I'll try to get to the point quickly so I don't ramble too much.  Not long ago I discovered a website called Rifftrax where the creators of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (a show I loved) are making new hilarious movie commentaries that mercilessly poke fun at everything.  Not only can you download these but you can also make your own and sell them to other people! (Maybe you see where I'm taking this.)  I thought that since the TMK team knows so much about the Mario universe, and they're also incredibly witty, it would only be right for them to create an iriff for the Super Mario Bros movie.  Yes, it would be torture to have to watch that again but it would so worth it for the rest of us.  It could turn out great and more people would buy it since you're so well-known and loved.  What do you think?  I think it would be a sin not to!  Deezer and Sapphira should do it with 2 or 3 other ones.  Here's some things you could say.  "This music from the game is like a deep breath before diving into a murky swamp." "I can just hear all of the Mario fans around the world yelling at the same time 'Koopa isn't a human!  He's a turtle!  Dragon... thing." Yoshi: "Well I sure got a great part in the movie!" (stabbed) "Princess Daisy?  Oh no, we're looking for the wrong princess!"

Oh yeah... and let us always remember the sacrifices of our soldiers, those who risked their lives on 9/11, and the rich blessing of freedom.  God has blessed America.

Rats.  I came back to TMK hoping to find an April Fools joke and this is all I find. :(  Maybe I need to make one of my own. *cracks knuckles and types away with an evil laugh* Hello again, friends!  How's it been?

Edit: I guess it's better than nothing. :)

I'm back again for a second!!  Just felt like stopping by quick to say hi and see how many people I could shock. :)  Hello to everyone who is back or new here!  I used to come here often (like a million years ago). How is everyone doing?

Site Discussion / Re: The 12 Days of Deezer
« on: December 05, 2006, 10:38:44 PM »
Ooh!  I'll have to check that out soon.  I bet it's good (or else it's really dumb, but it could still be good).

In case people want the original lyrics to the 12 days of Christmas, I decided to be a good little Yoshisaurus and list them all here for inspiration.

1st day... a partidge in a pear tree. (I believe that's a bird)
2nd day... two turtle doves (those are also birds.  They're part turtle.)
3rd day... three french hens (more birds and, yes, they're french.)
4th day... four calling birds (who would want this many birds?!?! @_@)
5th day... five golden rings (one that could destroy Middle Earth)
6th day... six geese a-laying (no more birds!!  Ask for some money now!)
7th day... seven swans a-swimming (Where's my rifle?  I'm going to shoot some birds!)
8th day... eight maids a-milking (cows, right?)
9th day... nine ladies dancing (with me!)
10th day... ten lords a-sleeping (lazy men anyway)
11th day... eleven pipers piping (you mean plumbers piping!)
12th day... twelve drummers drumming (what a generous person!  Too bad I didn't like any of the gifts though.)

There.  Done.  Woohoo.  X_X

Tomorrow I'll probably listen to and watch A vist from Dezzer, Joy to the Dezzer, and the new Deezer the Snowman video that sounds like Christmas gold.  Or... frozen gold.  Or... yellow snow?  Um... yeah, I would have listened to them sooner but I forgot and I also have dial-up which is the devil.  I'm somehow excited about it. ^_^

Nintendo will take over the world in 100 years.  Sony and Microsoft will be defeated and have to join them.  Nintendo will own the internet and call it the Ninternet.  They'll have their own TV network, lots of game-based movies, a giant theme park, and the first civilization on the moon.  All because of their innovative hypnotizing machine called the It.  It's gonna happen!  You'll see.
