I don't care what anyone says, nothing can be as annoying as this! XD

I understand that, but nobody was expressing their fetishes here (as far as I could see, at least, unless stating you're a fan of cartoon animals is a fetish these days, which in itself shouldn't even mean someone is a furry in the first place), so the hate towards furries was rather uncalled for. I bet there's even some furries on this forum right here so you could quite offend somebody with such a statement without even realizing it. Somebody who you could otherwise talk with perfectly normally, at that, since you never know who could be a furry.

Anyway, let's not ruin this topic with that discussion and scare off new members here. They should feel welcome, not feel like there's a war going on here, because this place is great really. XD

Okay, first of all, lemme welcome fennechelix here (even though I'm still new here myself, haha)! Hope you'll enjoy your stay like I have so far, great people on this forum (albeit a little slow at the moment)! :)

Secondly, what's wrong with furries? If I'd had to go by Weegee's post, I'd say it's the yiffing part. If that's the case, then you have an entirely wrong idea of what a furry actually is, since, just because someone is a furry doesn't mean he or she will automatically yiff everything possible.

Mario Chat / Re: Super Mario Sunshine - Roof of Hotel Delfino (Theory)

Like I said though, in episode 2, the top gets invisible walls added so you'd need to actually jump higher. Like, maybe one third of the actual hotel higher before you're able to go above the roof and sink through it. I coulda sworn there were barrels in episode 1 though, but I just checked myself and there really aren't any barrels there as I see either. Odd. Oh well, you're quite welcome. And I might check out your Sunshine video's later! :)

I have Action Replay, so I'll give it a try for ya if you like.

Edit: I just gave it a shot, and I can actually confirm that your hunches were right: the roof is not solid. At all. When you try to stand in it, Mario just sinks into the hotel (and not into the actual interior part), and as soon as you land and stand still for a second, Mario dies.

Edit 2: I just tested it again. First time, I tested it during the first episode at which you have to defeat the Manta Ray thingy. After the hotel pops up, it's possible to go directly up to the hotel (with AR codes of course, or legitimetely somehow, not quite sure if that's possible though), and you can stand 'in' the hotel for a second before Mario dies. In later episodes though, the roof is actually protected by an invisible wall (which is most probably why you couldn't get up there), and I had to jump a little higher for me to be able to actually reach the roof. This time I fell through once again, however Mario dies instantly this time when reaching a certain point 'in' the hotel. So while I was first able to ground pound through the roof and live in the first episode, the second episode is an instant kill for Mario when he does that.

I hope that answers your question! Anything else you want me to try, while I'm at it? =P

Hmm, I think most things with ''CD'' in it is lowercase over here in the Netherlands actually.

Sorry that this has been such a hassle, by the way!

Great way to start my first helping out on this site, huh. XD

Should I post the pictures in this topic instead, then?

You should be able to enlarge them, though. They should be about 640x480 pixels, that's the size at which the DSi uploads them to the computer anyway.

I sent them again. The e-mail address IS staff...[link removed], right?

If it still won't work, I'll post them in this topic instead.

Did any one of you get this game yet? I've got it since the European release and I've cleared most of it by now, just needing to unlock some more things. I think it's an awesome game, and much better than Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (though I still enjoyed that one as well).

Mario Chat / Re: What is your favorite Mario game?
« on: February 14, 2011, 09:59:54 PM »
Hrmm, lessee..

2D: Tie between Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. I don't think I can choose!
3D: Super Mario Galaxy 2, no contest! That game makes Yoshi look awesome, and he can actually swim here instead of drowning/disolving immediately in like in Sunshine.
Kart: Mario Kart DS. Although the Wii version tops this for online, this game has way better tracks. Though they could've left out ROB if you ask me.
Sport: After getting Mario Sports Mix, I can say that it's a tie between this and Mario Power Tennis.. but then again, MSM gets bonus points for allowing me to pair Yoshi and Black Mage together!
Party: Mario Party 2 of course. Those costumes were awesome, shame they never returned.
Smash (Mario's playable in it, so it's somewhat of a Mario game at least): Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Slower than Melee maybe, but I don't care, this game is awesome!
