Wouldn't FF Tactics Advance be a Tactics game? Sorry if it IS an RPG, I haven't played it.

SMRPG
PM
M&LSS
PMTTYD
FF1
FF2
A Kirby RPG would be cool.

If birds breathed fire everytime they posted, the forum would''ve blow''d up by now.

Nintendo seems to make one Mario RPG per system since the SNES.

SNES: SMRPG
N64: PM
GBA: M&L
GameCube: PMTTYD
DS: Upcoming M&L 2

What will the REV be? another Paper Mario? [musical note] Anticipation...

Squaresoft made Super Mario RPG. Nintnedo only produced it.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (There's a difference between FFTA and Final Fantasy Tactics. A big one.) is a SRPG/TRPG, that is, a Strategy/Tactical RPG. I'd say it's completley legitimate to list it in this topic.

 My list is as follows:

 Valkyrie Profile (PSX)

 Tales of Phantasia (SNES/PSX/GBA)

 Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES/GBA)

 Suikoden (PSX)

 Seiken Densetsu III (SNES)

 Final Fantasy IV (SNES/PSX/WSC/GBA)

 Chrono Trigger (SNES/PSX)

 Suikoden II (PSX)

 Super Mario RPG (SNES)

 Final Fantasy (NES/WSC/PSX/GBA)

 Dragon Quest/Warrior II (NES/GBC)

 Xenogears (PSX)

 Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (PS2)

Star Ocean: Fantastic Space Odyssey (SNES)

 Tales of Symphonia (GCN/PS2)

 Final Fantasy V (SNES/PSX)

Star Ocean: The Second Story (PSX)

 Radiata Stories (PS2)

 Dragon Quest/Warrior VII (PSX)

 Final Fantasy III (NES/WSC/NDS)

 Breath of Fire III (PSX)

Tales of Eternia (Destiny II - USA) (PSX)

  Secret of Mana (SNES)

 Final Fantasy IX (PSX)

These are probably the best of the bunch.

Black Mage likes Final Fantasy? </sarcasm>

Final Fantasy III has been announced for the NDS. I simply put it on the list because I don't plan on updating it in the future.

I think everyone already knows this, but...

Paper Mario
and
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

I'm not a huge fan of RPGs.  I find them somewhat boring, and annoying at times.  But I positively love these two games.

I''m against double posting.
Maybe there is more to me than there is to me...

Don't get your hopes up, FF3 for the DS is FF3 in Japan. Not N.A. FF3 (FF6)

Indeed, which is exactly the reason everyone should get their hopes up. FFVI (FFIII-USA) certainly was an amazing game, but so is Final Fantasy III. Considering your statements, I can only assume you haven't played it.

That's not to say I'm against a port of FFVI for the GBA or NDS, but I would most definitely like to see the only Final Fantasy that hasn't seen a release outside of Japan, finally get the attention it deserves.
