Video Game Chat / Re: Where do you buy your Games?
« on: October 20, 2009, 04:07:58 PM »
I usually buy my games at the local Wal*Mart, where the greeters are like Walter from Jeff Dunham's comedy performances("Welcome to Wal*Mart, get your crap and get out."). However, if Wal*Mart fails, there's always a trip to the next town over to Best Buy or this small electronics store at the mall(they have Pocky! wheee!).

Explaination for any possible lame-itude: 1) I know nothing about Cloverfield, having decided not to see it and 2) those red marks on the monster? Either burn marks or very, very large bruises. ^^;

Crap. Shoulda gone for PNG file, or at least stayed with ComicSans font. The text is supposed to say "I feel so... so unloved..." in case the blur ruins it for some people.

I had actually made this one before seeing page 10... I really wanted to contribute to this and I was too lazy to make a new one so I just edited the one I already had.

General Chat / Re: What are your thoughts like?
« on: March 19, 2009, 07:58:37 PM »
My thoughts are random and crazy and never really straightforward. Usually, when not making quick decisions, my mind works something like a discussion panel with various fictional characters representing parts of myself and having different opinions on how to go about things, and these things are most often not very important things. I remember a few months ago having a mental arguement between Gomez(an original character of mine, representing my wisdom and kindness), Yotsuba(from Yotsuba&!, representing my childish naivety[sp?]), Toph Bei Fong(from Avatar: The Last Airbender, representing my brashness and somewhat lack-of-subtlety), Dimentio(representing my, erm, darker side of myself) and me(representing... me) on how best to raise Cookie, a Chao I had at the time on Sonic Adventure 2. Gomez said I should take it to the kindergarten classroom so it would have a more fleshed-out personality, Yotsuba wanted to give it adorable animals, Toph wanted to take the tough love approach(which those of us who've had experience with Chao know doesn't work all that well), Dimentio just wanted me to shove a bunch of Dark Fruit down its throat and call it a day... and I just wanted them all to leave because they were NOT HELPING. Dimentio won.

... Yeah, I know I'm crazy.

General Chat / Re: Wacko dreams
« on: March 19, 2009, 05:22:30 PM »
I've been keeping a dream diary since the 18th of January this year so I could remember my crazy dreams for sharing at times like this. One of my personal faves is the one from January 26, where Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from MythBusters were my science teachers. We were working on Diet Coke and Mentos rigs as the assignment while Adam and Jamie were making dorodango poo-balls like in their idiom special. Then my freshman physics teacher, Mr Rarer, came in and said someone had stolen a machine he made, intended to be ultra energy efficient but in reality was extremely inefficient. He planned to destroy it and use its parts for scrap once he got it back so the same thing couldn't happen again. I had to stop this random girl from using it to cause an even worse energy crisis. And Adam and Jamie cheered me on. :3

General Chat / Re: Want to talk to ALICE? (SO DARN COOL!)
« on: December 17, 2008, 05:08:03 PM »
Human: You want some chips?
ALICE: Do not presume that you know what I want.
Human: No, I was offering you some chips.
ALICE: Are you serious? Where were you offering me some chips?
Human: Okay, this is getting even weirder and weirder.
ALICE: Yeah okay, You don't say.
Human: Do you want some chips?
ALICE: If I had it what would I do with it?
Human: You eat it.
ALICE: No I do not eat it. I eat only electricity.
Human: Oh, so you're an Electabuzz!
ALICE: Ayuh. Interesting deduction. What if someone said you are an Electabuzz ?
Human: It's better than being called a stupid ugly poopy-baby.
ALICE: Don't call me "baby". What's the best one?
Human: I didn't.
ALICE: I haven't heard anything like that before: unknown person said he didn t.
Human: Whatever.
ALICE: Are you saying you don't care about it?
Human: 42.
ALICE: The question is: what is the meaning of life?
Human: You've read Hitchhiker's Guide, I see.
ALICE: No I don't think I have read Hitchhiker s Guide I see, what is it about?
Human: Nevermind.
ALICE: OK Thanks for trying to explain that to me.
Human: Robot death stories.
ALICE: I will obey your command.
Human: IT WORKED!!!
ALICE: What does "it" refer to?
Human: Your face.
ALICE: Actually my face is not yet built.
Human: Well, poop.
ALICE: How about that. Colloquial expression: childish.
Human: Childish?!
ALICE: What are you wearing?
Human: Clothes.
ALICE: Where do you like to go shopping?
Human: I don't like shopping, actually.
ALICE: What do you like?
Human: Pokemon and cute animals.
ALICE:
Human: NOW you have nothing to say.
ALICE: Why now? Do you have something to say?
Human: Yes, about muffins.
ALICE: Hmm. Oh yeah, we were talking about muffins.
Human: I want a muffin.
ALICE: You want only one?
Human: More than one would be nice.
ALICE: That seems like quite a lot.
Human: Yeah, but that's life.
ALICE: Tell me more. And. You don't hear that sentiment very often.
Human: Nevermind, I'm leaving.
ALICE: Oh well thanks for trying to explain it to me anyway. Bye bye.

General Chat / Re: Fattening Christmas Foods
« on: December 14, 2008, 09:58:20 PM »
OH PLEASE, GUYS, YOU'RE MAKING ME DROOL ALL OVER MYSELF. 8D

At Christmastime, the whole family usually comes together and we each bring a bunch of different foods. The meat is always different, but some things remain the same each year: mashed potatoes, Aunt Alice's broccoli casserole, corn pudding(yuck!) and deviled eggs(two or four eggs are set aside without devil for me). Or we just pick up some KFC's. That's good, too.

General Chat / Re: Tape Type
« on: December 14, 2008, 09:22:32 PM »
Duct tape has extended the life of many a highschool backpack. I wish they'd stop forcing us to get clear or mesh backpacks. The old backpacks were much more durable. I've had my old Scooby-Doo backpack since the fifth grade and it only started tearing up in the last year or so, despite being in constant use. But that's neither here or there. We're discussing tape, not backpacks or stupid school rules.

Scotch tape is also very useful, especially for wrapping presents, so it comes in at a VERY close second. I mean, you wouldn't wanna give someone a gift wrapped with duct tape, would you? Well, if you're Red Green, maybe... ah well. XD
