I am actually quite amazed that you guys didn't learn how to before the second grade. Not being mean, I am just fairly surprised.

Velcro shoes are for people who have tied their shoes many times and are sick to death that the knots always come loose no matter what you do. I blame some kinds of laces.

What? We were tested on shoe tying in Kindergarten.

This blows my mind that people over the age of 6 don't know how to tie their shoes.

How is it that this PA comic is the one that causes a massive outcry?

...but this is normal fare for Penny Arcade, there should be no outcry. I can kind of guess what it is, but they've used worse words and mind images than that.

As I understand it, making light of rape was the major impetus for complaints, but there's been PA comics on everything from Tycho sodomizing people in his sleep to having "Drowned the elderly woman I was taking care of and buried her under a porta-potty in a town north of Tulsa called 'Owasso'", among many other things. And, he already pointed out, is the Fruit ****er just the elephant in the room or what?

I've just lost some serious respect for whatstheirnames:

This is a mere glimpse at what the internet is rapidly becoming. In five years' time, the World Wide Web will be nothing more than a swirling mass of butthurt and apologies. It's sad, really.

You don't realize that they weren't actually apologizing? When you apologize in a severely backhanded and smartassed manner, you're not actually apologizing for anything.

Although I had assumed dickwolves to be just, like, wolves covered in a bunch of dicks. Like, all over their back, like a porky-pine.

I know that it wasn't a sincere apology, but relenting by acknowledging their concern is still a defeat of sorts.

Making fun of their concern is not a "defeat".

I learned to tie my shoes at like... 5?

Also, I just tuck my laces into the sides of my shoes after tying them anyway. Untied shoelace problem solved.
Formerly quite reasonable.
