It went great! We left her house at about 10:00 AM and climbed a mountain, sat at the top for an hour or so, ate lunch, enjoyed the view and each other's company, and then climbed back down. After that we went to her house where her mom cooked meatloaf, which was both delicious and nourishing. So all in all, a success.

I disagree. We don't need counterbalance. I think that kind of dichotomy leads to faulty thinking. It's the same sort of argument used for teaching non-science in a science class.
