Title: I need help with SMRPG

I cant get past the hammer bros. in super mario RPG.Does anyone know what I need to do to beet them?

very easy. fight the monsters in mushroom way (not the spikeys) until you gain a level or two. when you reach a new level, raise your HP. they'll be no prob.
