Mario Chat / Re: Dumbest/Funniest/Best things ever in MKDS Wifi
« on: February 20, 2006, 09:12:54 PM »
The match was 1 on 1...my opponent was snaking (note- I want to also clarify that I support snaking), and I suck at it. The 2nd race I had noticed he has his kart facing the goal line and puts it in reverse when I am reaching the end. So 3rd race I stop the kart and sat in my chair waiting to see what will happen.
I drove a bit backwards...then forwards...then turned from side to side...hopped a bit...hopped some more...and then more... (I thought he would think it was morse code, man am I stupid)
I had some mushrooms on me, I drove a little further towards the goal, and this guy would have won if he just checked the bottom screen, then I used the mushroom.
The stupid thing is, I repeated the same thing in the final race. I can assume two things... He, despite his skills in the game, never thinks to check the bottom screen to see if I have items that grant speed boosts. The other theory is he felt he'd rather have  fun then chalk up another easy win. I'll go with the latter.

Edit 1: Making what the opponent did easier to comprehend.
Edit 2: Fixing a small grammar error.

I'm not very good at the game and I need practice. Don't go easy on me, please.
I'll try not to sign off when playing but I might have to if unexpected pnriorities come up (such as my house lighting on fire or having to help with chores).

Posted this reply at the original topic-I have no way near finished your story but by a few paragraphs alone I say your narrative skill is a brilliant one (and it is my favorite kind to read and write)
Keep up the good work.

A:Your in "strangeworld" a world made by the creative yet destructive minds of homeless "taters & cheese in a biscuit" addicts who reside in a tiny box that can fit 27 bags of snausage
Q:Why snausages?

Ahh, thanks for the added info, yes it's SMB.
Next question if no one minds if I do it.
This I shall warn you will seem very very very ridiculous and unbelievable. I will expect that. And I will also expect that very little will know the answer, But here it goes.
Which Mario game features in a part of the game a black and white painting showing a half naked Cleopatra (as in well y'know that famous Egyptian queen).
God, I hope I am not the only one who knows this.

Game Help / Re: SM64DS

Mario is in the room found in the rec room found in the room for switching characters that is placed where the little Secret slide from original SM64 is.
I can't remember where exactly goomboss (goomba king with a dumb name) is in the maze, sorry.
New bosses are King Boo (with new stupid name)
and a Chill bully with a few new improvements.
Luigi is found in Boo's Mansion 3rd floor
Wario is found in the snow man's land entrance (you need Luigi)

You must have all 150 of the castle power stars, then you can use the cannon in front of the castle. There is also a hard to pull off trick to ge to the top without a cannon (search gamefaqs.com's message board for SM64DS)
Happy playing

To reach Bowser you must have a certain amount of stars (12 I think) and he is behind the "opening to the sides like a wooshing door that opens by sensors in the floor that people love to play with" with a big power star on it, it's on the first floor. Hard to miss.

Yes, you have to push/pull them. But I think the one who asked wanted to know how... adly, I forgot. Look at the buttons on the top right screen and on certain occasions it will tell you when you can push or pull.

spoiler alerts though it is a "captain obvious" thing......

After rescuing Luigi (go to 3rd floor of Boo's Mansion) bring Luigi to the 2nd floor of Toadstool Castle and enter the room containing the Snow Man's Land painting portal. Use the power flowers to go to thorugh the mirror and enter te wario painting. Also, btw try looking through the door behind the mirror for another nifty new secret for SM64DS (just a hidden star, but somewhat nifty none the less)

Happy gaming

I am sooo making a fool out of myself but I should correct some info.

"This game was very popular, considering it was Yoshi's 2nd game."-answer "yoshi's island"...the real answer is Yoshi.

Yoshi's first game was SMW (they still did NES games after SNES)

"These were the first games in the mario series that involved sports playing." real answer is just plain "Golf' (unless prooven wrong)

Mario's first adventure was YI

Super Mario Land:There are no koopa troopas in it. There are NOKOBONS

Yoshi's Island:Actually, boos do hide (more of a peek a boo if you call it hiding)

not mario related:I could be wrong-but wasn't the first ESRB rated game Mortal Kombat?

And for the last question-Bosses are Hermie The 3rd and Popple. The others you just earn without combat with an enemy (I think)
Any other questions? No?
Here's my own question, which Mario game had an item inspired by Alice In Wonderland.
In interest of fairness I am thinking of a certain game but if there are any others please tell.
If I do not come back check if I am dead by emailing me at NNY273000@yahoo.com

Happy gaming (and pray that DDR featuring Mario will be actually good)
