Forum Games / Re: Fake SM64 cheats
« on: April 12, 2004, 09:53:49 AM »
A topic like this deserves to stay at the top of the forum forever!

How to make Mario always have the flying cap (and optionally flying):

Have the Super Mario 64 Box in good condition. Mario always has the wing cap on it. To make him fly, play catch with a friend and make sure it doesn't hit the ground. I guess it's not fake, or a cheat, but meh.

Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side, come on, it''s time to go do the Mario! Take one step, and then again, let''s do the Mario all together now! You got it! It''s the Mario! Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side, come on, it''s time to go do the Mario! Take one step, and then again! Let''s do the Mario altogether now! Come on now! Just like that!

I'm pretty sure you guys mentioned this already, but I would like Gamecube graphics with Super Mario Bros. (or 2, I like 2 more than both 1 and 3, but I know most people don't and I think Nintendo would make more money off one like 1 and 3) gameplay. I would even like it if it were just All-Stars with Gamecube graphics! =)

Easy. Get a Japanese Famicom and put your game in it. You'll get a message that says "disk read error). Put it back in the Super Nintendo (I'm pretty sure that's the console we're talking about) and the level will be erased! Mario's head will be erased too, though, anyone know how to get it back?

I never thought of that, it'd probably freeze, but maybe it'll do the character's course you choose. That is, if he can come in from the back, I think those courses are designed like Flat Zone.

Ok, I'm at the part in level 48 where you have to arrange the bricks so Mario can get to the exit. What's the formation? There are only 25 blocks and it's a 30x30 angle thingy!

Yeah Wario, sorry about that... =(

"The topic isn't called "Hey, let's bash the Macintosh"...

Also, only idiots who own Macs have them frequently crash. People who use Windows computers usually walk up to the Macintosh, and judge it before they have even tried it. Plus, they think Macintoshes work exactly like Windows. They don't. If they run on completely different operating systems, you'll know that they're completely different. Windows users buy Macintoshes, put some Windows software in, and say, as their Macintosh locks up, "Hey I thought Macs were supposed to be BETTER! My Windows XP can work MUCH better than this." Well, they're half right, and half wrong, thinking that Windows software is universal. All it does is upset and confuse the Macintosh into thinking it is a Windows system as well. Now, they have a PC that constantly crashes.

....Okay, I'm done. Stop looking at this.

Uh, yeah...."

I forgot to mention, but I have use Macs longer than PCs, so don't assume I "just walked up to a Macintosh, it froze and I hated it." In fact, Macs have been my favorite until this year (well, in school years, technically the end of last year). I used to love Macs so much more, defending whatever anyone ever said about it until I realized how bad it really was. In fact, probably the only reason I haven't sold it by now is because it was a birthday present. So it may sound fake, but I really did used to be a Macintosh fan- until I realized it was just like a downgraded version of Windows. Oh, and by the way, if this isn't a bashing Mac topic, I don't think it's a bashing Windows topic either- just if you like Macs more. All I want to know is, besides viruses and looks (if those are, than you must be an idiot because anti-virus programs work very well and performance/compatibility is more important than looks), why do you like Macs better? Is it just because Microsoft makes XBox so you have to totally hate their company? Sure, I hate XBox as much as the next true Nintendo fan, but I don't just get a hate passion for Microsoft.

Windows Compared to Old Macs before X: Crap. Total crap. No, not the Windows, the Macintosh. It constantly freezes, the date always changes to January 1st, 1904, and can only run about 1/100 of the good programs Windows can. Not good at all.

Windows compared to Mac OS X: Wow, a little toolbar, iChat, and a nice design. All that REALLY overpowers all the programs and games Windows can run. If you didn't realize, I was being sarcastic. What's the point of having a Macintosh were it's more like a more fashionable older Windows rather than a not-as-good-looking one that can run almost every computer-made program?

Well, yeah, twins can be born at different times- my best friend has a twin brother who is older than him by one minute, and that does make him older than my friend. Just one millisecond would make you older, you were born first no matter what, weren't you?

Well, unlike the most of you, I am 13 so I started more on the SNES. We did have an NES, but most of the games were remade so I usually never played. Something funny, though, was I never used to be interested in an old game called "EarthBound," and when "EarthBound 64" was coming out, I didn't care but my brother was all hyped up about it. Anyway, when it was cancelled, I still didn't care but my brother sure was angry. Than, about a year or two ago, I started playing (and beat) EarthBound, and now I'm in love in it, which means now I am mad a Nintendo for cancelling EarthBound 64 while my brother's already over it! Oh well, at least I didn't get hyped up about it before...

You need to get a credit card in the game first. Now this one, you'll need to keep that cord you used to hook up the GB/GBC/GBA but change that port to the N64. What you must do is do the Luigi cheat in Mario 64, and make Luigi jump on Mario's head 64 times in a row. Than Mario will yell "Ow! A-stop eet! Here's my a-credit card!" and in the other game you must go to NPC #823 and hook up the N64 to the system the game is on while talking to that NPC. But remember- you must be EXACTLY 500 steps from the NPC before talking to him, you can't move at all until Mario gives Luigi his credit card in Mario 64, and after Luigi gets the credit card you have two seconds to run up to the NPC, but you can't equip the 500-step boots or teleport.
