When I try to start RagnarokOnline, it just says cannot connect to server. What's going on?

While I'm probably the only other one here who plays Ragnarok Online, I find it odd you posted this here.
Anyways, the server is currently down for all, I would assume Gravity is preforming maintenance checks or something of the like. Just keep checking back, I'm sure it'll be up by tomorrow.

Well, It hasn't worked for like a week. Does it for any chance have anything to do with user names or logging in or something like that?

That very well may be. To be sure, you did subscribe to the service, correct?
For, it is no longer an Open "Free" Beta.
-
Yes I have, but it's a pay thing now is it?

History of Ragnarok Online:
- Open Alpha
- Open Beta
- Open Beta II
- Closed Beta II
- Closed Beta II
- Open Beta II
- Closed Beta II (Since May 30, 2003)
And so, to play now, you need to pay. I believe it's $12 a month. The price also lowers, slightly if you subscribe for a longer amount at a time.

ah.. the Sakray Server at RO is so queit.. just +300 Players... and I can play RO for the next 6 months (I love the stron €uro)..
So, the payment is very easy... just send a check to Gravity and begin to play.

"Okay then Ragnarok sucks then"
Quite the contrary. It's much better when you have to pay. That way it weeds out a lot of the free-loaders and immaturity.
I couldn't stand playing it during it's last open period.
