Frankly what was really scary was in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door between chapter 2 and 3, where TEC makes Peach dance with a hologram of herself. You gotta wonder what Nintendo was smoking when they thought of that.

But the two got tired of the tattle off, so they became Paragoombas, got married, and flew away to live in a spaceship leaving Mario lost in Rougeport sewers saying, That darn Goomba.

The show would be better if they'd kill Team Rocket. They always do the same thing and never learn from it when they lose, it gets repetitive. It should just be Team Aqua and Magma.
Also to Markio, Charizard has popped up quite a few times since he was left behind, Pokemon: The Movie 3, the gym battle with Claira, and The Johto Leauge championship fights just to name a few.
