Toon link was a stupid idea anyway, he was an exact clone of Link.
Dude. Have you not played Melee? Young Link was a clone of Link, and had 2 games, instead of Toon Link's 3.

I like it. The face with no eyes scared me, it looks so real but creepy.

What is this garbage. She's not a game character. Wii Fit is not a game, it's an interactive fitness application.

What is a character like this doing in a mascot fighting game? She's not a mascot for anything.

I almost want to say Mii would be a better choice, but I hate the Mii's as characters too.
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Nintendo should not try to simulate real life people. Their trademark is cartoon characters which don't really look real.

What do you think Mega Man's final smash will be?
He'll glare really hard at an enemy and make them grovel and cry at his feet.  This is bringing back memories of that one moveset thread...

Don't get the hate for the Wii Fit character, looks fun to play as and the reveal was hilarious. I was a bit disappointed initially when my friend told me that the Wii Fit Trainer was a character in the new Smash, but after I saw the reveal/gameplay video I was more than okay with it. I mean, why not put it in there? Plus we got MEGA MAN.

Also, everybody knows that every character totally steals a spot on the roster from somebody else, and I'm getting huge No Geno vibes from this chick

Yeah, Samus looks so cartoony.

Her design does look rather more stylized than in Brawl...

Psyched for the Villager and Mega Man! Fit Trainer irked me at first, but then I realized that she/it is a character from a popular Nintendo franchise just like the rest of them. I mean, "character", "popular", and "franchise" are generous terms, but there's no argument there that couldn't be used against several other characters.
