Somebody has been messing with this site, it seems. In the main forum navigation page, the most recent post indicator in the righthand column has recently shown topic names that don't match the actual topics of the most recent posts. I recently saw "dancing bananas" or something like that in the most recent post column, but there is no real topic called "dancing bananas". Now the recent most post column shows "nobody evere reads this line" as a topic name. I read those lines! I'm on to you, fungi forum prankster!
Edit: I suspect Luigi Simpson may be somehow involved, since he seems to be obsessed with dancing bananas.

^^

If you put different names in the subject line instead of RE: *Insert topic name here*, it'll show up as the most recent reply. Take my subject line for example. Now, if you go back to Home, it'll say I replied to 'This is a subject line'. I'll stop that, but it's not just me, you know. I actually got the idea from someone else doing it. I also didn't say anything about dancing bananas in that column- I was the corn guy.
Btw, I'll change my avatar then. :(
-
I'm afraid I don't have any idea what you are talking about.
-
*cough*

Notice that my post appears to have no subject, like a normal post.
-
Man I love doing this!
-
It is kinda addictive...
So, Hirocon, does that answer your question?
EDIT: Who on earth is Hirocron?
This is a reply to the next post:
I'm afraid Bird Person is currently offline, and I ask you to look at this.
-
I want Bird Person to see this!! Don't post until he sees this!!
-
Who is Hirocon?! Why, he's only the best of the best! Cream of the crop! Tip of the top! It's Hir-oh-kahn, and there we stop!
>Whoops, didn't see that BLF1. Should have took a screen capture.
>>Whoops, didn't see that, Luigi Simpson.
-
No, I was talking about Hirocron. That's what was in my original post.
-
:)
-
Hirocon busted BP's joke. (But I'll just put it back up.)
-
^^Sometimes I would do this.
-
Man, I wish my power weren't out yesterday.
-
It is windy as crap over here.
-
It was windy and rained 2 days in a row over here, but now it's calm weather.
-
Not windy over here.
-
My dad's been fixing everything caused by the wind over the past coupla days. The Santa Windsock, the awning thing over the pool, the garage door, used as an awning to protect the metal stuff my dad makes for no real reason, they all got blown off. A few tiles from the roof got blown off too.
-
Ok Bird Person. We get it, you know how to change the name of your post. Sheesh, I thought I was going to be able to insult Nintendo! (JK)
-
XD
-
Yeah, Bird Person, it's just not funny anymore.
Look at these pictures!
-
Ha, funny effect. Let me try!
-
BP never saw my joke. :'(
-
I saw your joke.
-
No, really. It would. Interesting.
-
I read the above posts, I get it.
-
Nothing goes unnoticed in the Forums.
-
There are so many secrets here.
BTW, look at General Chat! Corn vs Potatoes!
-
Cough.
-
This is really fun.
-
Hehehehe.
-
Really...
-
I'm new... why can't I post a new topic? I have one that's worth posting and will be HUGE but do I have to wait or something? (check my signature for now)
-
Assuming you read the Rules and Regulations topic, you shouldn't have asked that question.
-
well, Bob, I DID read it... but how do I earn the right to post a new topic? I'm not a spammer... but I do have something all the Mario fans will go nuts for.
[if you keep advertising, you won't make it to 25 posts. -Deezer]
-
If you read the rules, they say:
• New members will only be able to reply to topics. With proper conduct, they will eventually earn the ability to post their own topics.
Basically, this means that once you reach 25 posts, you get to post topics. But don't start a topic just to advertise your site. Instead, put it in your profile, under "Website."
-
Hold it, newbies only need to post 25 times before they got to create topics?
I thought the powers that be decided when they could create topics...
-
25 posts? I have no idea what he's talking about.
-
I'm not on here just to spam a website... it's to show everybody a MARIO CARTOON. I'll play by the rules tho, no worries... and thanks for the kind advice.
-
so the link to a MARIO cartoon was removed from my signature because it qualifies as advertising even on a MARIO site? Am I being bullied or is this normal.
-
Nope, it's normal. Just follow the rules. We don't bully anyone.
-
so... I'm NOT allowed to come onto a Mario site to show people the new Mario cartoon I just finished? I make no money from this and I gain absolutely nothing from showing it off. I'm simply sharing Mario "fan art"... not trying to cause trouble but does anybody see why I'm confused/frustrated?
-
I'm not a mod or admin. Personal Message one of them for more clarification.
-
What I did was make a topic telling about the site, etc. I asked them, and they said it's okay, as long as I don't just say something like "Hey! Check this out!". Topics must have more of a meaning. Mabey make a topic for posting fan videos or something. Mabey like, "Post your Mario art here!".
The admins are very kind and understanding. When they do something like that, 99% of the time it's for the better.
In return, they ask you to follow rules, which are easy to follow.
-
Here's the deal, Mr. Film Maker. You can talk about your animation, or even link it to us in some other thread (any idea that doesn't match up with previous threads often goes into The Pointless Topic). But making a thread about your animation or linking to it in a signature isn't recommended. It becomes tiresome to have topics coming out of our ears and having links in signatures.

I thought the powers that be decided when they could create topics...
Really? For me, it was 25 posts. Hmmm....
-
The 25 post thing is kind of new. When I joined on October 5th, I could already make topics, open/close/delete topics/posts.
-
My first post ever was a "new" thread. Back in 2003, though...
-
I never posted a "I'm new" thread.
-
This reminds me.
I really need to make a "Show off what you've done!" thread in GC. I see a lot of people's creativity leaking into threads with no real reason.
-
It was 25 posts for me as well. I usually post an "I'm new" thread at a new board if I don't see a newbie welcoming thread.

HEY! CATERINA'S RETURNED!
So, I can begin with the spams to arrive to the 25 posts! ]=D YUHUUUUUUUU!!!
