After reading the title and starting the video I felt emotion starting to build. My daughter walked in and ask why they were stopping and why they were getting out of their cars. My tears had already welled up and when I tried to explain I couldn't. All I got out was, "A long time ago..." Then I cried and reached out to hug her, but she was already leaving to see what her mother was doing.
How do you explain the holocaust to a five-year-old?
