Couldn't care less about Corrin, but Bayonetta should be fun. Way to kick the Geno fans while they're down with that Mii costume, though.

   1. Only needs to provide D with notice to charges they have to defend against.
   2. D may request a bill of particulars, clarifying what gov intends to prove. Generally in court's discretion to urge that, though, and in how much detail.
   3. Objections:
      a. Duplicity: Count contains two or more distinct offenses
   4. Cures for defects:
      a. Amendments
      b. Supersedments
   5. Variance: Proof at trial's different from what was charged in indictment--and D didn't know. If extreme, D may get new trial.

I made a fake overworld for a Paper Mario sequel when I was a little kid, but most of the level maps I made were for my own fictional videogames.

I swear they announced the same thing back when I was in middle school and nothing came of it, but of course, these decisions do ping-pong around... frankly, imagining a better Mario movie is practically a small hobby for me at times, so here's hoping they could right this wrong eventually.

Good points there, actually... and that final boss music had a pretty dire tone -- it was good, but it made the one in BiS even more exciting.

I don't know about macabre, but Holli Jolli village and that credits music was definitely shades of Tim Burton.

I don't have a problem with "linearity" if the game itself isn't also repetitive, if that makes sense. PiT followed the same structure repeatedly for most areas: one area divided into three to four subsections, then a miniboss, then another sub-area with the same structure, then a boss. And yeah, I know that can be said about most Zelda games and other Mario RPGs, but the areas in PiT almost seemed like they were deliberately designed to easily appear in small chunks on the top screen of the DS. Even with pieces of the Cobalt Star constantly getting scattered and stolen, I feel like SS and BIS still had a more varied, madcap story/overworld/dungeon structure that benefits the tone and style of the series better. Can't speak for Dream Team, though, unfortunately.
